Hi there can you pls make a vidoe of the legend of korra when she and asami entered into the spirit realm or basically what happened after the last season till the end and mabey clear up where it actually ends and where the new series starts pls i beg of you pls
That art style looks very chibi-like… something avatar actually already got before. I wouldn’t mind getting another short-form miniseries with that art style, but definitely keep it away from the main series!
i was wondering if i was the only scared that they were gonna make the new series in chibi format... like is it crazy to think they'd actually go the Teen Titans Go route? or is this project by Bryan simply just another side miniseries like what you said
@@SmoovyNovaFan let’s just say, it’ll definitely get a lot of backlash if that style would be used for the main series. The whole reason people loved avatar so much was because it was a departure from standard Nickelodeon and regular kid’s shows. To turn it into a chibi-series is to completely undo that change, and the show would just become another crappy modern kid’s show people would just forget about.
That's too bad, I really like the art style of ATLA/LOK and don't want to see it go. Really hoping you're correct that this is only for a mini-series or something and not a full-fledged show.
I honestly really love Ulysse's art style and from the animation reel of Korra that was shown it's clear that the studio/Ulysse himself is propably capable of more than just chibi art style. That image your thumbnail artist made is absolutely BEAUTIFUL I love the colours and energy, but I also think that you can go a bit further with Ulysse's style than ""just chibi"" as his drawings do depict a bit more emphasis on anatomy than classic chibi. I would be excited for an avatar spinoff that delves into a more cartoony style! I wouldn't even mind the entire next show being in a new style, but I personally doubt that will happen for consistency but time will tell!
i like the art style as long as it's just a little cool miniseries and not a big thing, they're not super chibi tbh (not as much as the thumbnail) and they can be more proportioned with cute faces
@idrissbenaziz2411 Cool, you don't like this style, and I can respect people that don't, but this comment was left for people to agree with, not to hate. Go take your language, and go hate on something else, because apparently you have nothing better to do in life. Thank you.
Weren't there super-deformed chibi shorts that they did before? I wouldnt be surprised that they want to do another one of those for a comedy side-series
I’m wondering if they are making something similar to AOT junior high. Having characters from both LOK ATLA all in the same setting doing silly things and because of the sillier animation style it doesn’t need to make sense so characters like Korra and Aang can both be on screen. Just a thought.
I think the chibi design could be super cool in scenes like aangs story qt the end of the great divide. Little inserts of the characters talking and things of that nature make a lot of sense to have that look but not as the overall style for an avatar show. Im interested to see how they may adapt that style
I had a little panic attack when he said: "The first drawings. Thats it!" Dude, I needed 10s of redesigns until I was satisfied with my main characters! maybe I am just a bad character designer, but taking the first drawing and saying thats it, is a little red flag for me on how good an artist is and how good an artist actually is. you know?
Please no. Avatar was beautiful art. If the artists wanna do "a different direction" do something else other than avatar. Using the IP like that feels dirty. Like if you dont want to continue with what is at the heart of avatar. Step away and do a different kind of project like you want. Dont ruin what avatar and korra was.
I could imagine changing the art style to something like what they did for the avatar wan story, because that art was gorgeous and fit the world of avatar really well even if the story it was used for messed up the world building. moving to a more chibi cartoony style wouldn't work for the show.
Can you make a vidoe of the legend of korra after season 4 when korra and asami entered the spirit realm of what happend till the end of the story and tell us that korra's story end the official new start of the next avatar begins pls i beg i not that good a finding this information
I heard that Lego Monkie Kid's animation studio, Flying Bark was leaving and not animating season 5 to go animate a new Avatar Series, so I'm super excited to see their passion they exhibited with LMK with this new series, regardless of the writing, I know this will look AMAZING!! Go look up Lego Monkie Kid Fight scenes (if you dont care about spoilers) and you'll know what I'm talking about. also if you never seen LMK, Sokka's Voice Actor, Jack De Sena plays the MAIN CHARCTER!! and they make an actual ATLA ref with MK(Aang ball spinning trick)!!
Is this not the pre-school show they announced years ago? Am I the only one who remembers that Avatar Studios had at one point announced a stylized Avatar cartoon for littles? When I heard the Bryan clip, I didn’t even think there was any ambiguity about what he was referring to. I just thought it was pre-school series he’s developing.
Nice Video i have watched both The series LoK and ATLA and i am excited for a new series i like Atla more i wish they did not make them progress with technology so fast but both are still amazing!
I liked the Steampunk aesthetic, but they really shouldn't go further. Modern day is way too far from the original Avatar. It has to stay in the realm of Fantasy.
It's more likely a "Super Deformed Shorts" series, because the Avatar YT channel does upload a bunch of them, and the big heads are like the main characteristic of the characters.
2:43 yes! the youtube page keeps saying that aang and katara kissed in the cave. if you watch the episode, you can see that's not true. idc what direction whitman got when recording her lines; in the episode delivered, they didn't kiss. the youtube channel straight up lies and misinforms less-versed fans on this. they possibly even moderated the truth out of the comment section. it was very upsetting.
If this new thing is in a chibi art style, then it's probably not going to be the new Earth Avatar/cyberpunk show, and it's probably going to be a comedic spinoff.
Dude if we’re talking ATLA: Go! I’m gonna forget about the series forever. This has been my childhood favorite and if that’s the style they’re taking it, I am hopping off the bandwagon
I think its cool for stuff like stickers or like when anime does that post episode scene but for the whole series especially when it is know for a more serious animation style no
everyone seems disappointed but you guys gotta remember nothing has actually been showed to us yet, it could come with a fantastic story and still really amazing animation IN GENERAL. dont be nit picking on how big their heads are going to be. no one said its going to be exactly that style in the first place, its just going to be similar or inspired. and its not even a bad art style, it would be strange to work around if they want to keep it action packed but that doesnt mean theyre going to turn it into peppa pig.
I agree that this art style would be fine for short and mostly humoristic side content, but I don't want to see a main avatar serie with something like that. I'd be fine to compromise for something similar to the original art style used for ATLA and LOK and something a bit more cartoonish or something going in a direction more similar to animes, but straight up cartoon/chibi doesn't suit the style I envision for a main avatar serie. With bodies so disproportionate, how are we supposed to admire quality animated fights that reproduce real martial arts moves?
If they do a Teen Titans GO style Avatar show, it might not be all bad. It might be the necessary evil to keep Avatar Studios going and create the truly great stuff that might not be as profitable.

Pretty sure that style doesn't apply for an actual, full show, because the Avatar style is iconic.

The fact that avatar looks like anime is 1 thing I don't think they're willing to change

I don’t mess with it. Large heads will 9/10 look goofy and besides I love the original art style is plays a big on what avatar is.
The old art style makes a flawless balance between comedic and dramatic and I wouldn't want it any other way
That art style normally doesn’t lead too deep long form world building series hopefully just shorts
Adventure Time though! Cute artstyles have a place in deep storytelling!

Heh, heads.
We all want a full HD remastered versión of ATLA... ❤
Knowing the creators are involved directly, this will be like what Teen Titans Go should have been. More comedy-focused, but not bastardizations.
Also it can be treated a non-canon or separate continuity.
Nah they should have kept teen titans the way it was the new style is horse shit
Great video man! Keep up the great work, any avatar series would be great, keeping the fans alive.
So is this series gonna be similar to the little funny chibi animations they made back in the day? I'd love to see that.
thats what i was thinking, i loved those
Not this is ugly asf. This franchise has gone to shit with an overused “chibi cute 🥰” art-style. SMH.
