Hello friends. I forgot to mention in the video that the slices have 4 cutting edges. I was very positively surprised by this cutter. I thought that 3 hours would pass and the cutter would end, but she didn't want to let me go home😀I also want to say that no one paid me anything for the test and I don't even know how much the cutter costs.
Hello friend, is this their new cutter they are giving out to try? We have been promised one and looking forward to trying it out. We have a seco high feed cutter we really like and interested to see how it compares.

This cutter is absolute and efficient.
Despite the life of inserts that is amazing in all materials in two grade of inserts 920/930
the machines run very smooth even if it is a smaller machine for example SR3 or VF2 the surface on roughing operation in also good so the finishing cutter has better performance after the roughing...also is 90° cutter in work pieces that the surface is not to be perfect in b.o.c. Z-0.3-0.5 the surface will be accepted...also last one the diameter can be in smaller insert from D16 with XNKU 06

How this geometry performs on stainless? Does it hold as good as the positive square?
@@3axisrocks393 machining with high feed on stainless can be a good choice for good conditions....depend on application ..if you want something on general stainless steel application you should use RNHX 12 with 12 cutting edges ...or XPET inserts on small cutter diameters .
What application you want to make ?

1) drive quietly with little wear
maybe it could run overnight with sister tools ,,, mazak and heiden hain can handel sister tools , i dont now whit fanuc controls
you can put tool changes in prg manuel
2) drive hard with insert changes and interruptions 10 times a day
I know it's not easy there are many things to think about

Try some roughing milling head from Mitsubishi Materials
They have 6 cutting edges and they hold about 4 hours of milling

This head is not so good at roughing full slot at 90 degree edges
