Jeff, you have changed my life! I'm allergic to yellowjackets and so I've always been scared of any flying thing with a stinger. Well, a couple of unseasonably warm days just up the road from you in Little Rock, I noticed a lot of honeybees flying around looking for food (we already had out first frost). Instead of getting scared, I mixed up some sugar water for them and laid it out for them. Within 30 minutes there were dozens and it was the most fascinating thing I've done in a while. Three days of feeding before it got cold again and I think I'm hooked!
I always say the world need as many beekeepers as it can get, and I can hardly wait for the day when you join the ranks. Keep up your good works! Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed

That sure is one fine haul that you 3 worked out there Mr. Ed!! Even with all the damage of Katrina, there is still a benefit to be found after all this time has passed. And in the process, is it possible another bee keeper has been born? Just the design and construction of this hive shows a dimension of natural beauty. How long would it take a bee to enter and to reach the inner areas of that hive? Just the weight of this hive alone was very impressive. Now I am looking forward to the wax and honey portion of this hive that continues to give up its goodness. Another very enjoyable video Mr. Ed!! -Bob...

You guys are the bee balm for our souls! Been saving this video for a time I could really enjoy watching it without interruption. Your bee wrangling videos are such a treat to watch! I need to order some good honey from the abbey soon. Was gifted half a bottle of honey from my cousin, but it was cooked or not all honey...was just terrible! Tastes more like molasses than honey so I think they heated it or something??? What is your ancestry in general Jeff? Just curious. Hello to your dear Mona...don't want to leave her out! Blessings~
Over the years, i have noticed that testy bees are usually more productive, and have have fewer pest than gentle bees. As long as I can work them i tolerate them, but if they become too bad there is going to be an execution. I enjoyed the video, God bless.
Ok, there's 1.5" of wet snow on the ground, it's gusty windy and 32 degrees out. You have my...wait, coffee, undivided attention...I'm supposed to be getting firewood, but it's wet, and cold...and this is way more fun!
Hello it's me 1 day late Old Steve.....My gosh what a huge nest of honey Bee's 🐝🐝🐝🐝....Thank Jeff Charley and Mr Tyro..... God Blessing to y'all and yours Shoe🇺🇸

Trust me, hives get big in campers just like in a house. All that is necessary is the right genetics and the solitude for them to build something incredible. Thanks for watching. God's peace Steven. Mr. Ed
I will agree with you about temperament, our meanest bees don't begin to compare with Africanized bees, and I'm so glad we do not have them here. God's peace. Mr. Ed
2 stings would put me in the ER. I am so allergic to bee venom. Once stung on the foot the pain and itching was horrible. Then I was stung on the hand and I nearly passed out. My arm swelled to twice its size. When I went tot he ER they asked if I was snake bit. I said no just a bee. They gave me epinephrine and benadryl in a shot. That works faster. Thankfully we were not far from the hospital when it happened. My lungs were still working. But the doc said if I get stung again I would have an anaphylactic reaction. I hope none of you has any bad reactions to stings. But if I were stung I wouldn't be talking about it. God bless you for finding the queen. She looked so small considering all the eggs she laid. Have a blessed weekend.
You best take care of yourself JJ especially around bees and other stinging critters. Thank you so much for your blessings and for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff You guys are supermen to me. I would not even be able to do that with a bee suit. But you guys act like it is just a little mosquito bite. I am reactive to those too. This year being so many days over 100 there were no mosquitoes where we live. Up in the foothills perhaps. Not here. You reuse and keep alive bees the one animal that makes food we eat and they can eat it too. We pray for all of you.
You all had the number right about how long it would take. You just had the time unit wrong. Looks like it was a 2 day job not a 2 hour job. That was a huge hive. I am surprised you didn't mess up you back. See you in January. God Bless.
I want to say, I know people are afraid of temperamental bees, and I understand why. But if I was a beekeeper, I'd like to have a colony or two with a little bit of feistiness, because as you said, they will defend their hive.
I am delighted to hear you understand my point. To often the quality of "gentleness" is prized in a bee hive, I for my part appreciate when bees are defensive as this genetic trait will be to their advantage.

Mr Edthere is no bees here at Anchorage, today I had to cross the garden to get my good neibor lader that I have on the fence in back of the garden so my friends have acess to my garden in the summer. The snow is about 3 feet and it is not the middle of november

Holy smokes, those bees were hot!!! Your removals are usually of calmer bees, but THOSE bees were pissed! But like you said, the more aggressive hives keep the hive beetles out so that's good. Will be more challenging to look after for Tyrone, but if he mostly leaves them alone like you leave your bees alone most of the time, it shouldn't be too bad for him. Maybe he should get one of those flow hives so he can just extract a little out the back side of the hive without disturbing them or something. But I'm sure he'll figure it out. Great team work guys! Also, now you have added the multi-tool to your arsenal for hives that have old, rock hard comb. 👍
It certainly is up there, but still not the biggest I've ever done. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Sandy. Mr. Ed

Since the foolishness over Kamon Reynolds began, I need to know if you still plan to attend. Please respond and let me know.

Question for you Jeff. What does 150 pounds of honey equate to in gallons of honey? Or Tyrone wants1 gallon so alternatively what is that in pounds? Looking forward to the separation video next week . This was a fun video this week . Thank you Jeff.
There are 12 pounds of honey to a gallon, but just because the hive weighed over 150 pounds does not mean it was all honey. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see exactly how much honey came from this hive. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed

Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace brother.

That was a great harvest and a lot of work. Thanks for sharing!!! Keep up the good work!!! Blessings!!!
Great to see you are still watching, thank you for that and your blessings. Until the next one, God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Bless the bee keepers and good luck finding the queen.
Thank you for your blessings and for watching, it is greatly appreciated! By the way, we did find the queen, and her capture is shown in the video. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
thet was a big one mr ed and god bless you all
Thank you for your blessings and for watching, it is greatly appreciated Terry. Until the next one. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Those bees were ppost-Katrina bees, no wonder they were aggressive!! LOLOLOL 🐝🐝🐝🐝
Great video Mr Ed. Can we see you setting the bees up too please.
I was so tired by the time I set the bees up I did not video it. However, I will be posting a follow up video on these bees in the next few weeks, stay tuned for that. Thanks for watching. God's peace Mickey.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff Ah no problem Mr Ed, I can understand that. Thank you for replying though and I will look forward to the follow up. Take care young sir and If you can't be good, be careful. 🙏
Ed!! -Bob...
You are in luck Bob, next weeks video is all about the honey from this hive, get ready. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff Not only am I looking forward to seeing the honey processing next week Mr. Ed, I am also looking forward to seeing the beauty of a winter down in your neck of the woods! Meanwhile, have yourself a peaceful and enjoyable week ahead! -Bob...

Amazing adventure you guys had with this removal. Such a large amount of material to be removed. And such a blessing to the property owner. Congratulations!
Thank you very much Rob, and I'm delighted you enjoyed watching the video. Also, I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Mr. Ed
OML, that was one massive feral colony of honey bees 🐝 WOW!!
A monster for sure! I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 13 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. What a huge hive!
Wait till you see next weeks post on all the honey that came from it. As always, thank you so much for your gift Larry, it is always appreciated. God's peace brother.

Another great use for the multitool, nice

Professor Ed is this the second monster removal of the season? Really great video. Seems like a ton had to be edited out.
I probably had 4 or 5 monster hives this year, but this one had the most honey in it for sure. Thanks for watching God's peace Bran.
Mr. Ed
You know the bees are Mad mad when they go for the camera 😂 I’m kidding but another great removal and excellent camera work by good time Charlie. Thanks for the education and wholesome entertainment.
Always a great video. Enjoy wTching each one thank you
You guys are the bee balm for our souls!
We just love an RV hive
Hey guys bees. not a happy campers but definitely the best team ever video is incredible and Messi we love you guys stay healthy be happy peace
Hello it's me 1 day late Old Steve.....My gosh what a huge nest of honey Bee's 🐝🐝🐝🐝....Thank Jeff Charley and Mr Tyro.....

Hi Jeff and good time Charlie that’s sounds great guys god bless to you both
Blimey, those Bees have the potential to Tyrone set up with multiple hives with the way they work!
I have to agree with you on that one Suzanne. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Talk about fun and adventure with a few stings. I am so jealous! You guys are ROCK/COUNTRY/etc STARS in my world! Truly AMAZING and handled with such GRACE! I LOVE YA"LL!💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏p.s. its deer season in my ole neck of the woods....Bee safe!
WOW Mr. Ed I have never seen a HUGE bee hive like that in a camper before.
Trust me, hives get big in campers just like in a house. All that is necessary is the right genetics and the solitude for them to build something incredible. Thanks for watching. God's peace Steven.
Mr. Ed
Those bees look gentle compared with the Africanized bees we have out here in Southern California!
I will agree with you about temperament, our meanest bees don't begin to compare with Africanized bees, and I'm so glad we do not have them here. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
God Bless great wrangling ❤️💯🕊🙏🏻🌈
Wow!! Massive!! This video reminds me of why I don’t do cutouts! Got your workout…
Now that you have a thermal camera and an Everything Bee Vac, I think you will very soon stop saying that. God's peace brother.
Mr. ed
Thank you Jesus, indeed! So glad it was successful. God bless you all.
What a big job! Nice work!!
Wowsers! That was just a bit epic😂
I love putting the drama into the adventure! Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Thanks for another good one.
You all had the number right about how long it would take. You just had the time unit wrong. Looks like it was a 2 day job not a 2 hour job. That was a huge hive. I am surprised you didn't mess up you back. See you in January. God Bless.
See you in Louisville Phillip. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Another nice 2 hour job 😄
I'm always hopeful...even when I know better. Thanks for watching. God's peace.

Mr Edthere is no bees here at Anchorage, today I had to cross the garden to get my good neibor lader that I have on the fence in back of the garden so my friends have acess to my garden in the summer. The snow is about 3 feet and it is not the middle of november
Stay warm up there Richard, winter is just beginning.God's peace brother.

I’m curious if that is one of the largest bee removals you have ever done. Good job. Very interesting.
Check out the video link below, it's a few of my larger ones from the past. But this year I have done at least 4 of them this large, but the entire hive did not come out in one piece. Thanks for watching. God's peace.

How long of a horizontal hive would you need to frame all that comb?...6 or 7 feet, wow! It looked like you guys earned it with grumpy bees. Thanks for sharing
Looks like the bees have been hitting the honey buffet a bit too hard! 🐝🍯
And the bee wranglers as well, I took a bunch of stings on this removal. Mr. Ed
That was like trying to drag the dirt rooster out.😆🤣
He would have fought less. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Mr Ed. You nearly gave me a heart attack. 😂😂Glad ur ok
Jeff is this the biggest hive you removed? Love From Michigan and it's a beautiful evening. GOD BLESS You and Your Family also Good time Charlie.
It certainly is up there, but still not the biggest I've ever done. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Sandy.
Mr. Ed
Once again, loved your video. Amazing to me how you find so many swarms & removals. Not that way here in SE Missouri. Wanted to ask if you and Dirt Rooster and Mike Barry if are still attending the 2024 Sieverville Bee Conference. I was willing to travel from Missouri, mostly to meet you 3-guys. Since the foolishness over Kamon Reynolds began, I need to know if you still plan to attend. Please respond and let me know.
All three of us will be in Kentucky for Kamon's Expo, I hope I can meet you there. Thanks for watching. God's peace David.
Mr. Ed
"Not africanized bees".... I'm so sorry! Love those AHB colonies... rough and tough!
The bees we vacuumed the first day did spend the night in the vac, and because our temps were so mild and the vac body was vented on both sides, another innovation of the Everything Bee Vac, the bees did great. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
❤❤ that was one sweet removal 😅😅😅
Wait till next Friday's post, it's all about the honey that came from this hive. Now that's really sweet, stay tuned. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Jeff,Jeff,Jeff. When are you going to take Randy's advice... "smoke-um till their eye's water" what a hive. I had to take a breather after you two flipped that comb onto that table, I thought for sure that table was going to crumble
We did smoke them until MY eyes were watering and it still did not do the trick. A heavy hive for sure. Thanks for watching. God's peace Ed.
Mr. Ed
I was not so worried about the table, I was more concerned about being able to hold that hive without dropping it. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I love to watch your videos! You and good time Charlie are always so positive and happy, even when you have cranky bees. That was a really tuff one and I was worried for you when you were lifting that heavy board with all the bees and honey. Can’t wait to see the part 2 of this.
God bless.
Hey Brenda! This was the full length video of the removal, last week's post was simply a teaser to get you interested. Thank you so much for your blessings and for watching. Next weeks post is all about the honey from this hive. God's peace.
Mr. ed
I'm amazed that you were able to find the queen in such a mess.
Were the bees returned to Tyrone ?
He came and picked them up this week and they are now back at his place. I hope to do a follow up real soon so stay tuned for that. Thanks for watching. God's peace Kevin.

Mr. Ed
Mr Ed, maybe you should get Mona to make you & Charlie a T Shirt that says “We Rescued the Mean Queen”.
I think Charlie better make sure Jeff eats his Wheaties before heading out for a removal, after seeing him struggle with lifting that hive! lol, Maybe wrangle old Wreak it Ralph back into the group for a little extra lifting power! Just kidding, you do ok for someone up in years as you guys are!!!! Lol, just joking, love you guys and all you do to keep us entertained and educated in the ways of the bee keeping life! God bless!
P.S. World famous Mike Barry and the ole Dirt Rooster would have been jealous!
Rather than Trailer Park Ladies you got Parked Trailer Ladies .. You takin out the trash , bwahahahahaha

What a monster hive! How many boxes did this wind up taking. Gotta be more than the original box Tyrone had there.
They went into a double deep, 10 frame hive...and they filled the boxes up. A truly incredible hive. Stay tuned, there will be a follow up video on these bees very soon.
Mr. Ed
😮 Definitely a Monster Hive!

Mr. Ed
Seeing last week's teaser and then seeing the opening of the this video, I said aloud, "You're gonna need a bigger box." No wonder they didn't want to go in it!
So late in the season how will these bees survive Jeff?
A steady diet of sugar water and there will be no problem at all. Hopefully I'll be able to get an update of this hive in the future, stay tuned. Thanks for watching. God's peace Brad.
