I used it, it worked using the dremel with the polishing tool. One thing people need to be aware is that the deeper the scratch, more polishing is needed and at one point you are going to damage the screen. I almost completely removed a deep scratch I made but I started noticing that the glass was having some permanent marks left by the abrasive compound, and because of the high rotation of the dremel. So I decided to stop to leave it more like a dent. Also, this will completely remove the oleophobic coating from your screen, and it will be REALLY easy to leve your fingerprints on it - so the next best thing is going be installing a screen protector on it.
I thought my screen protector was on. Nope, now I have a few scratches. I will try this. It seems like a project but it’s a pandemic, I have all the time in the world.
I don't have an Apple watch, the product might not be here as I live in England but I did just sit through that spell bound. I think the music hypnotised me? Lol. Thanks.
Best video no matter what it's called. I figured it would take a serious polishing tool besides just a little stick, those other videos posted are jokes!!
Thank you so much it worked I used the rotary tool and polish together wow 😳. I brought a cheap one from Amazon 👍🏽‼️ Now the scratches are almost gone 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽‼️ Thank u again for sharing 🥰‼️
It didn't "work" because it looks like you stabbed the screen with Excalibur. The product is designed for 'light' scratches because it's actually removing a layer of glass. The deeper the scratch, the more glass you have to remove to match the depth of the scratch. The rotary tool "worked" because it's more efficient at removing material/glass.
It helps get the scratches off easier I tried using the tool that came with it but that was not working. So I got a cheap rotary and it worked the deep one u can barley see 🥰‼️ Hope this helped
The best way to make your scratch Apple watch look brand new, no matter how scratched, is to apply a UV glass protector. It will literally make it perfect with minimum effort.
I just got an Apple Watch SE for Christmas 🎄. About 2 weeks in I was in the kitchen making drinks for friends. My wrist just barely grazed the granite counter top and when I looked it left me with a good scratch. It starts at the top leading into the middle of the Watch with 3 little scratch divots in the middle (you can feel it with ur finger). It’s such an eyesore. I immediately got a screen protector after that. The rest of the screen is perfectly fine but I just got that one scratch driving me crazy. I can still see it through the screen protector. I’ve seen this product before and I saw it got bad reviews with just the stick. But I never thought of using a rotary tool. Now that I see it works really well with that I might give this a try. However I’m not sure if it’s worth it since the rest of the screen is fine and i got a screen protector for it. Im really the only one who notices it. However if I do, I probably won’t use all the product since the rest of the screen is fine (don’t wanna completely remove the fingerprint coating). I’ll put tape on the watch to isolate the scratch and will just work on that section. Wish me luck!
Apple uses great tech with cheap glass. Sapphire crystal is not that expensive and is scratch resistant. For the amount of money they charge us, they should use sapphire crystal.
apparently you shouldn't even polish it by yourself in the first place lol (because it removes the protective coating and when you do have scratches, it might possibly be just the outer/protective coating being scratched, not the actual screen layer underneath) so better to just cover the scratches with a screen protector!
This might be a little late but As a index owner I did research and although it won’t work on a index it does work on a quest but only a specific plastic one Do NOT just use the first one you see on Amazon look up the correct one
@@Dream_Destination_Wedding Thank you, I will do. I think I need one of those buffer tools your partner used to for a complete finish. I thought you might struggle with the very deep scratch.. but it came out great.
Great video. I also just scratched my new watch. Forgot to take it off when working on the dishwasher and put a few fairly deep scratches in the screen from the tile floor... I was looking at this product and glad to know it worked out, going to try it with my dremel! Thanks for the video!
@@abosworth It worked really well with the dremel. My scratches were about the same, and I think if they were just light that the kit would have worked as it comes. I have two small dimples now, but the rest of the face is perfect.
To be fair it didn't actually remove the scratches, this is supposed to smooth out the area around the scratch, with such big scratches as yours you basically thinned the glass to level out the scratch. This doesn't add material. This removes everything around the scratch to make it seem as if the scratch is gone. Now you have a dented, thin and more fragile screen with no oleophobic coating at all, which means it can break with corrosive chemicals and won't repel water off of the screen. This is meant for small scratches
Woah there buddy your harmonies are riding way to fast your only 5 years old and she’s 69 years old you gotta watch out for the petifilers and on top of that she’s just way to old for you as you are still learning how to speak and write while she is already retired.

That is why after doing this you need to use those nano tech ceramic coating scratch protector .

Does anyone know or recommend if you could use this on a phone?

Pretty mind-blowing that this can be done without damaging the screen. Apple could offer a refresh service for cheap (I know lol apple).
@@dankspain Lol, have you missed all the indents left
after the procedure??? 10:16 to 10:34
@@dimplezdimples8451 Those indents were already there, the procedure smoothed the surface. The outcome is pretty good considering the damage.
So I have really minor scratches on my watch. They aren’t deep at all, still a little noticeable. Would this work to get those out?
Yes it will
I think you put protection glass at the end.. clever..😉
Can this stuff be used on the iPhone 11 screen???
Yes
That looked like a labor of love
Whats the buffing tool you used
It helps get the scratches off easier I tried using the tool that came with it but that was not working. So I got a cheap rotary and it worked the deep one u can barley see 🥰‼️ Hope this helped
Do you need the rotary to erase little scratches
I would say it was definitely a huge help, I wasn’t able to get them out with the tool provided
Hey! could you share more about the tools that your husband uses with the rotary?

Yo can u give some examples of products i live in germany
@@lFabules What do you mean, give you some examples?
I just want to say those where gashes in the screen of your watch not scratches. So you would need a power tool to get them out.

I don't think that is a good idea. Dremels are cheap at Walmart

Hello! I was just wondering if the kit came with the scrub that was put on the end of that tool? Thank you !
Yes the gray piece came with the kit
Do you know if this will work on "gorilla glass" on a cell phone?
I’m not sure, it might
You can use a Cork, it will be easy to control! Stops you going over the edge.
If you notice, polywatch glass polish can erase the oleophobic coating on that glass, but the scratch gone
Yes and then put a cover on the watch and it won’t scratch again

I will try to find it
GOOD JOB
Damn this video is very informative. Glad to know that PolyWatch glass needs power tools to be effective.

Does the screen get thinner than it was before? How is the touch sensitivity after the polishing?
Well yes it get thinner, most probably about a 1 mm or less.
