    It’s truly insane that in the same time period with Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco the Ravens have won as many Super Bowls as the Packers with Brett Farve and Aaron Rogers

    • @rtSfe67
      @rtSfe67 2 года назад +43

      Not really. The ravens had a historical defense in 2000 and their defense was usually very good until Ed Reed and Ray Lewis were gone.
      I will say though, the packers defense played incredible last night and if the packers can hold on to that defense I think Aaron should stay.

It’ll be fun just to watch some new talent come in and see how they develop. The losses will always suck but they will hurt a lot less with less expectations. The amount of personal adversity you have to have gone through behind the scenes to make this all possible for yourself and for the grossi possi is inspiring. SF had a great Defense, so the Offense on both teams were pretty much stalemated with our 🏈💪💚💛Green Bay Packers💚💛 having the edge with the only Offensive TD of the game. Our guys did play hard and I'm proud of them 💪🏈💚💛 but our loss is directly attributed to the muffed punt by the Special Teams kicker who gave SF the only TD they got in 4 Quarters of Football. Our guys stopped the 49er Offense, minimized Deebo and shutting down 49er drives. The multiple sacks we got on their QB and interception--hey, they played great football! I'm proud of them and I liked Rodgers in this game as well finding Adams who they had trouble containing even with double coverage. Jones and how about AJ Dillon plowing through a group of 49ers and pulling them with him into the end zone for our only TD! We had a tough opponent like we knew, was prepared for them but unfortunately weren't prepared for a Special Teams kerfuffle, which we should have been considering they've been a huge glaring issue this season. That's where the blame lies, not with 🏈💪🏈💚Aaron Rodgers 💚💛, if folks want to be intellectually honest. We thought we'd corrected the Special Teams problem and addressed it because it did get better, but we still didn't trust it and knew it was our Achilles heel. It really felt like the year this year. It was a storybook ending, an MVP year for Rodgers, the number one seed, and so much talent on our roster. It’s gut wrenching knowing the A-Rod is most likely leaving and not being able to leave on top with an SB win, but going out on a pathetic loss like this. Wish I got to watch him play at Lambeau one more time. 😕

    At least Big Ben seemed to care about all of the fans who watched him play. If this was Rodgers last game as a Packer it is very shameful he didn't at least give the fans something. I worry for the fate of the NFC North. Detroit is the only remotely stable team left. I can't believe I just said that.

    I really am very disappointed today. Please tell me if I'm way off with this analysis because I only got into NFL two years ago (I'm from Australia) and chose to support the Packers, in which I've grown to love this team.
    Firstly, the special teams have been bad all season, and we obviously got smashed in that area. Don't know how or why it hasn't improved.
    The defence played a good game but overall, they're not good enough and not hard and tough enough to play in the playoffs. Looking at the way the Bucs and Rams played defence last week, I just don't see that level of intensity with the Packers, and obviously the 49ers defence is ridiculously good.
    On offence, we have a good offence as far as players go, there's no doubt. But why did Rodgers try to pass to Davante Adams so many times? We have two other very good receivers in Lazard and Cobb. Take nothing away from Adams, he is an absolute gun, but the 49ers knew we were going to him and they had him covered ridiculously well, and as a result we were just too predictable. Who's fault is that, Rodgers, Lafleur, or someone else?
    In saying all that, I'll never change teams. Packers are a special organisation with a great history and I'm proud to support the Packers.

I was more comparing the intensity and toughness with the Rams and Bucs last week, because the 49ers offence is not great and they needed to play like that if we were going to win the Superbowl. But you're right, overall the defence is not why we lost today.

      Yup I’m down to rebuild, drop Rodgers and get back Adams for cheap, trade Dbak since he’s the highest paid OL and the injury just killed it for us, drop Kevin King, and then the whole special team needs a rebuild and possibly trade Preston smith too and most likely Cobb is gone too with Deguara and maybe even MVS. Then at that point we could be good for our salary cap
