There is an actual term for it, its called class-consciousness. When you realise that the capitalists have been lying to you since the day you were born. They made us think that life couldn't get any better than this. Massive red scare propaganda and McCarthy-ism demolished the labour movement of the USA. Luckily working people seem to be waking up, especially young people. We can make life so much better for everyone, but only if we remove the capitalists from the equation. Give the power to the people.

He spent his whole career trying to wake us all up. Really need to watch a whole special some time.
We love George because he told us the Truth! ...which very few people do these days... He was a National Treasure!
Great reaction!! Absolutely fantastic tbh.. you can see the switch that went off in your minds, as it went from funny to HOLY FUCK this is really the truth.
George's scepticism has been truly justified.
Best line ever .....the American dream cause u gotta be asleep to believe it. Amen George...rip brother .
I love watching this kind of thing, the reaction is priceless 😂😂😂😂
When they think of what he just said and relate to it 😂😂😂
I'm a Brit and loved this he's brilliant yeah we're at the mercy of the big wigs in business and I think all governments are awful at their jobs in it for their own gains xx
I grew up with George Carlin on TV. When I was a kid, he was Mr. Conductor. Then when I was about 16, I learned he was a stand-up comic. My being his fan went to another level.
Everything he said then is true now. He was way ahead of his time! And a smart and funny guy! Loved his comedy and what he had to say
hey Shawn and Mel....I love you guys! This was great. I'm an old guy but I loved Geoge Carlin for many, many years. He may have started as a comedian but he turned out to be one of the greatest social commentators we ever had.
I looooove watching people’s reactions to this bit… how it always goes from laughter, to mild surprise, to shock, to “holycrap😧”
Back when Carlin was alive, he was often shunned and written off by the media as a "crackpot" for his views.
I love you guys and I love your reactions as always. George Carlin is my favorite standup comedian. He went through Catholic school and he always questioned what he was told so he always pursued the truth in his research. His classic routines were less of what he covered here and more about human behavior and language.
I'm so glad that I saw him perform live many times from 92 until he died
George wasn't just a comedian; he was a prophet. He's not "woke" (they hijacked and ruined that term), he's awakened.
Agreed.
You 2 are my Favorite reviewers! Fantastically Genuine reactions to some ''hard-comedy'' by my all time favorite Mr. George Carlin. Keep doing what you do!!! 🙌
Welcome u guys. U have finally been awakened by the only comedian who's funny as hell but spits philosophy and truth like Socrates. RIP Master Carlin.
He spoke the real truth
He was amazing! Still relevant today! RIP
Love it when people get introduced to George man ❤️
George the 🐐 a few of Georges's skits that aren't as while known: Flying and Modern Man. 🤙
Not only that george.. there the same malls with the same stores n the same fast food and same restaurants! When i was a kid in the 70's and 80's the store were all different in each state.. n even towns! Thats what was so cool about leaving your state.. it was totally different, nothing was the same besides for mc donald's and b.b.k. n kfc... it was all different, even the cloths! The styles... now America is the same town after town city after city.. same everything n its sad.
He always spoke the truth.....through humor
