About 40 years ago, my friend and I were heading out to lunch. We were passing an optical shop and he turns to me and says “Hold on a minute” and he heads into the store. I’m mystified since he didn’t need or wear glasses. So I just follow him in. He walks up to the counter and anxiously asked the guy standing behind it: “Are you open on Thursday’s?’ The guy is like “ah, yea we are.’
‘Thank You!!” and turns and leaves the store. I barely got out of the store, I was laughing so hard!
