- Pro R/C Driver Ryan Lutz GoPro Hero 8 Black action camera practice laps racing around 2020 Dirt Nitro Challenge track in Perris, California with his Agama A319 1/8th Nitro Buggy. Also including Chase scenes and Pit / Fuel Stops. Disclaimer - Track was very rough and the GoPro did an amazing job in my opinion of making it watchable. I hope you enjoy!

watched a bunch of this live, couldnt tell how beat up the track really was until seeing it from the "drivers" point of view. keep them coming, Great video.
It was even easy to tell from the broadcast footage that the track was super rough but this really shows just how bad it was! Awesome footage again Ryan!

wow that's awesome footage. I think every buggy should have one of these cameras mounted on board when they are racing, that would be awesome to watch.
They do currently affect the handling a bit much and they aren’t easy to keep on at the moment. Hopefully the camera will continue to get smaller and can be more feasible one day.

Absolutely! Often a pitstop at a big race is less than 5 seconds from entering pit lane to exiting.
@@RyanLutz one question do you have a speedlimit in the pitlane or can you go full throttle?
You can go full throttle usually. Some tracks have a bar entering pit lane where if you went to fast you would clip your wing and crash. But on exit it's usually fair game to go full throttle and it's more track/ pit lane / pit guy dependent.

Man those cars can sure take a beating. I have a 1/5th scale king motors Truck that wouldn't last three laps out there without something breaking on it.

I don’t drive nitro but I appreciate this video because you didn’t ruin it with music so you can hear what the car is doing
What does the nitro gun do
It’s amazing the technology go pros have in them to be bounced like that and give you such a clear picture

I tried music in one of my videos and it’s so divisive. So learned to just let the natural ambiance be.
The fuel gun is quicker at refueling than the bottle and can be done cleaner. Basically stick the end in the tank and pull the trigger and fuel dumps into the tank and you can see the fuel level stop dropping when it is full.
Yeah I am thoroughly impressed with the GoPro stability and durability. This was one rough track!
Most our races are done by time. Qualifiers can be between 5-10min.
The finals for Nitro can be 45min through and hour sometimes at the biggest events.
Ryan Lutz so it looked like the gun fit in your hand I thought it would have a tube going to the fuel but I guess that would slow you down so it must hold the same amount as the tank in the car I can’t imagine driving the same car for 45 minutes I’ve brought multiple cars and driven for hours but not the same one lol
Great videos you have produced. If you have time, could you please make a tutorial for beginners about learning to make jumps. I think going around the track, brake into and accelerate out of corners beginners like I can learn without causing much damage to the vehicle. The jumps are a very different story. There’s just no tracks with short or medium jumps for beginners to learn. Tracks are built for racing so there’s no compromise. Even for a single (properly build for veterans), for beginners it is long. Sure I can apply enough throttle and speed to clear the jump, but most likely I will fail during landing, break lots of parts in the process.
When you started your RC long ago, how and what did you to conquered the jumps? Was it simply just crash and learn?
