I actually really love these keycaps. I ended up putting them on my work keyboard (just an inexpensive RK918, nothing fancy) and the feel and sound of them is so incredibly satisfying. That, and they have a hint of cuteness while still maintaining a relatively professional look.
This keycap shape is really nice. Two things I didn't like about this set in particular: there was only one 1.25u windows key, and the dash and underscore have traded places on that key.
I've got MOA set not so long ago and was very sceptical at fist, especially about the aesthetic (toy keyboard vibes), but I've put them on my keyboard, and well... now cherry profile feels kinda weird and clunky, and now also I ordered two more sets... I might check out KOA too at some point (hesitated with these since the ones I wanted are GMK clones... but how much of a clone it is, if it's completely different profile?). Only gripes I have with some sets of MOa/KOA keycaps are either weird fonts or really big legends, but happily there are sets (like the one you've shown) that look just very clean.
I ordered these keycaps because of you and I got to use them today. They're perfect! Thanks for making this video. There were many more sellers on Aliexpress with this same style keycaps but using the XDA profile and the print on all of those ones were ass. These ones are flawless. That's what mainly got me to choose this one. Loving the feel of this profile but it seems like there are much less options for accent keycaps with this same profile. I usually like to mix keycap sets for different colours. Do you think mixing MOA keycaps with these KOA ones would feel fine?
I too got koa pbt keycaps from kbdiy to pair with my outemu limes coming from a very cheapo mech but something just feels off. I type a lot and i fInd it very easy to accidentally press a key or press 2 keys at the same time when that didnt use to be a problem on my old keyboard. I am still not very used to the keycap profile (i think my old one was oem?) but i think the light switched are mostly to blame, right?
@@kyrio.akitomo Well I got my set and I must say I am very happy with them, but a small decrease in height might be beneficial, for certain. I'm going to have to get a KOA soon and try them out as well!

I LITERALLY SCREAMED WHEN I HEARD YOU SAY ITS ONLY 20 EURO
It's an interesting keycap profile. I like it! The 'hello' esc key is pretty neat haha.
You definitely don't see it every day but I think it's becoming more popular!
I was going to say they look like marshmallows and then you said it in the video😂 really like the font on these. Great video man!
Thanks Brandon 😁
They really do! I'm definitely going to be picking up more of this profile of keycaps!
Was looking for a minimalist looking set of keycaps that fit the GMK67's round-ish aesthetics and these fit perfectly thank you! Just bought a set.
YES! This profile goes great with the round aesthetic of the Gmk67! 😍
So basically xda but with comfort curves?

This is basically the font from the old Apple keyboards from the 80’s ❤

That's really true. I find MOA profile more comfortable to type. And I really love the sounds of this profile too.

It's not something I've tried but I think you could probably get away with mixing KOA and MOA without too much of a problem!
Do they include a full sized right shift key? I kinda ordered in excitement but im not sure if ill have to live with a smaller shift key on my rk61
what switches? it sounds so calming. i tried moa with akko cream blues but each stroke sounds like shotgun
I was using Akko’s Matcha Green Pros in this video!

KOA Keycaps Or MOA Keycaps?? Which one is deeper??
would you say these are similar to xda in sound and look 🤔
I would say they look vaguely similar because KOA is very unique!
Sound is totally subjective 😄
Do you prefer these or the moa?
I just picked up an/a MOA set and was hyped to get it, now I kinda want this profile instead 😂. What do you think about normal MOAs? 😅
basically MOA but 1 mm less length ;) (i find them a bit more comfortable, my fingers took much longer to adjust to MOA keycap height)

does it produce a thockier sound than xda or is it just the same?
What's the keyboards base?
It's a GMK67!
Very sad that my country banned aliexpress so it's really hard to get
Noo
Would it fit the tester68?
Yep!
Would you say that they make a deeper and thockier sound than SA's?
nope Sa still King
Do they ship to croatia?
As far as I know Aliexpress pretty much ship anywhere! 😅
Are these good for gamining?
Ah I suppose that’s quite subjective. I don’t mind them!
is it too loud for an office?
Very much depends on the rest of the build
GMK87 + Akko Matcha Green V3 Pro + KOA Keycaps
good abs>pbt ngl, pbt isn't immune to shining
Nice, that hasn’t been my experience!
@@sc.studio tbf good abs costs quite a lot so understandable
Yeah it doesn't seem like a very high potential use-case. Generally price and pbt correlate!
@@sc.studio the sound profile of abs can't compare to pbt. pbt isn't always better but cheap pbt is better than cheap abs tho
Kbdiy is a clone company
Would you recommend this over XDA?
