You do understand that Marilyn Manson got his start under the wing of Trent Reznor, correct? It wasn't like some record company put him together, Reznor really believed in him and got him started. In addition, Manson is well respected throughout the alternative rock community. He's played with many talented musicians and even had a friendship at one point with Billy Corgan. Manson is far from a commercialized artist... hence why he can't get on the radio now that he is writing subpar songs.
