Nice video Allan! We're the manufacture of the Viper line of PT machines and would like to clarify on the MENU button and functions for the Viper Mini. As it is shown here some of the factory settings have been altered which is not allowing the Mini to function as it is designed. The MENU button allows for changes in the factory presents and can alter its functionally if changed. The machine presets are as follows: SET 1 - needs to be at 10 (ramp up speed, not used) SET 2 - needs to be at 10 (ramp down speed, not used) SET 3 - needs to be set to 20 (Minimum run speed. This is the slowest the machine will run) SET 4 - needs to be set to 100 (Maximum run speed. This is the fastest the machine will run) SET 5 - needs to be set to 1 (this is the motor set jump speed which can be either 1, 2, 5 or 10) This is the normal functioning preset for the Viper Mini, and all you'll have to do from here is only adjust the wheel speed (from 20 to 100) and the height of the nozzle to get an accurate and consistent PT laydown measured in grams.
As stated in the manual, the menu button is obsolete. It’s a general use speed controller panel that doesn’t use that function on this particular machine. Only adjustments to be made are to the up and down arrows to adjust the wheel speed. It should definitely adjust lower then 80% are you able to unplug to try and reset it and see if you can get it to drop below 80 or press a little more firmly? Also, the lines on the side guide need to be in line with the tip of the nozzle or the end of the nozzle slide mount. That will give you the correct spray width corresponding to the line noted on the yellow decal.
Personally I wouldn't get the Viper Mini. I would instead save up and get an enclosed pretreatment machine. I have the Mister T-1 and it's pretty great, but you can check out the rest of the Viper line up. There's also Pearl, Equipment Zone's Speed Treater, and a bunch of other brands that make pretreatment machines.
Yup. I’ve seen a lot of those brands. I like the open pretreat machines because the enclosed units insides need to be cleaned every now and then and I don’t wanna have to deal with it. I like the idea of them though.
@@adubbproductions It's pretty easy to clean the inside of the T-1 because it opens from the top. I'd rather it have the pretreatment be contained in the box than having pretreatment spray everywhere. I used to use the wagner spray gun and it's just ends up making everything in the area a sticky mess.
If you have the correct pumps and nozzle combos, enclose units are not necessary. There is minimal or any over spray from the viper machines due to the Swiss made continuous flow pumps. It keeps an isolated spray area, unlike hand sprayers or any pulser pump style machines. Drawer style machines are cumbersome. And for the price point of the mini, it’s far less then most other dedicated PT machines at the moment.
Good point. However for me in the garage I haven’t ran into that issue yet but I’m definitely weighing my options. I still don’t have the space for a enclosed unit right now though.
Your no sale is spattering and not spraying evenly perhaps. You probably need to clean the nozzle, dilute your pretreat solution and or spread it around with a paint brush or foam roller.

Turn the Red button on the Wagner trigger forward for more material flow and back towards the bottle for less.
That's what's up man Keep pushing forward love the content #Fire 🔥
Thanks Levite.

Too cool! Nice little gadget
Yea. It’s an interesting little thing.
What is your go to shirt with the DTG ? Meaning the fabric. What do you prefer using?
100% cotton works best for dtg. I like 6.1oz shirts because they feel like a nice quality thick shirt.
Thank you for this I was about to buy one but now ima save up to buy the higher quality pretreat machine this one looks like a headache.
I have white glue dots when I pretreat what could it be?
