God o mighty. You literally have one of the best channels on RUclips! I'm addicted! Motorcycle adventures, van adventures, boondock adventures, and exploring some of the most beautiful places on earth! Only a matter of time before you and your videos go viral!
my guess from other bike channels he only gets people that like motorcycles not all the lonely masses that want a pretty boy or girl to hang with'' he could take a pretty girl , the baggage would not be worth it for me,
He is getting there slowly but certainly. Remember that Sterling has been a professional motorcycle photographer for years. Check his work: www.globeriders.com/bio_pages/bio_sterling.shtml I hope that you will enjoy his videos/films. Cheers
As a middle-aged Portuguese man, when I think about the US, this is what pops up in my head. Music and all. A by-product of having been raised on Western movies, I guess. It is beautiful. Thanks Sterling for taking us along one more time.
Maybe a lighter dual sport bike for your van camping? Right number of motorbikes is one more after all😀. Awesome video and a wonderful area to explore.
That tow hitch thing is an answer to a problem I have and I never considered it because of the weight of my Tiger 800. Your videos are well made and so helpful, thank you.
i found this a great adventure both the area and ''that is the way i would want to take a long distance dirt bike ride'' more world travelers should do it that way. thank you
Thank you Thank you. I found your channel by chance, you know you tube, because of looking at other moto camping videos. Its funny the timing of this video. I have my van built out for camping but waiting for fantastic fan install in my driveway and an appointment to buy a motorcycle soon. I have done styles of camping in the past but do agree that sometimes it is nice to have a base camp to come back to. Loved your solo journey videos to Montana and back.
I love your videos. They are very relaxing to watch, you select such good chilled music and scenery. Just perfect. There’s a level of beauty in the whole approach that not many bikers can pull off. Best wishes for 2021 from England!
I mean the editing is just top notch. Just realizing how much thought and effort are put into your videos and the shots and b roll. Just wait until you blow up. It's coming man and I'm here for it. Keep it up!!!!
Really impressed by the rack at the back and the suspension (have the same bike and looking for ways to carry it) - new to your channel so I'm just checking your back catalogue. I see the info on the maker of the rack at the bottom of the video description so tnx , and I check the back catalogue of your videos videos with little success on additional info about your van and its rear suspension. Some more info/future video on this would be great.
Your channel is amazing. The music, the video quality, your honest commentary, the adventure of it all is amazing. You are a true inspiration. Been binging your videos!
I would have to agree picks some of the most awesome places to go and camp definitely deserves a much larger audience!!!! Keep up the good work , hit the thumbs up icon on bottom of videos so he can keep making these videos!!!!!
Happy New Year. I've really appreciated your excellent work over the last months. I'm out East but working on getting back to my true home in the NM mountains. I look forward to riding through Bisbee one of these days. Cheers.
Thank you again for another great video! I have been thinking about doing the van thing with a motorcycle. Riding long distances to arrive at places like that is getting, lets say not as easy as it used too. I love seeing more of Arizona and would like to camp with a bit more comfort as well. Very inspiring to say the least. Great work with the film work that shows the beauty of the landscape and lets us ride along. Looking forward to the next one!
From start to finish it was very well done. That is some great scenery and good information. It is imposible to imagine what these places look like by a few pictures and a map. This video was done perfectly. And now I just added it to my list of adventure rides. The setting sun, campfire, adv bike, and the steak n beer! Thanks.
These are gorgeous videos, lovingly crafted. I greatly appreciate the effort spent so that we can share these marvelous adventures. You make it look easy, but of course, it's not. The editing is amazing too, and the music is always so appropriate, and excellent. I'd watch television if it was half as good as this. The peace and solitude of the desert southwest is calling to me.
I'm in the process of getting set up just as you are. In my mind I've always had the vision for what I thought this way of living would be like, but this video lays it out exactly. What a great life you have, and inspiring too!
Again Nailed it your videos are top notch, what a nice playground You have out there wow, and there is me in deep snow in Canada, last video me riding made in mid December still not posted as editing content prior to this. I hope this snow will go away sooner then later in March not to run out of content. I hate winter and I can't wait for borders to open so I can go and explore the USA as I want to go again to UTAH and do more off road out there.
Pretty good advertisement for the bike rack. I got one also, but the bike exceeds the Max tongue weight of my truck. The rack is rated to 500lbs, the bike is 430,but the tongue is rated to 400lbs. I often wondered how those racks would hold up on rough terrain like that in this video.
Another echo from Portugal: Excellent content, very well filmed, nice photography, neat sound... and a very good rider... I would add: a nice person. The fact that you don't use too much music, and let instead the real sound come to us, is a very good choice ((in my opinion)... Ride on, Sterling!
Another great video Sterling. Seeing the world through your eyes/lens is the best thing that could have happened to me this early 2021! Happy New Year.
Been watching lots of your video's and really enjoying the quality and content, im moving from Florida to El Paso TX next month and plan to cover allot of ground in the south west on my bike, thanks again for the great channel
@@Asdfghjkl1234 it’s very different than Florida of course, people are nice, weather is good although I haven’t spent a winter there as I’m in Thailand at the moment, I think I need more time to give you an opinion, property taxes are high at 3 percent that’s the biggest financial concern, that’s probably the reason house prices are low there
Next time you have to pour some white wine in that pan, after removing the meat and letting the alcohol evaporate and pour that sauce over the meat, just a tip. Great video as always mate. Greetings also from Buenos Aires, but in Argentina.
Always looking forward to your videos. The photography and stories are very inspiring. One of these days I need to head toward your side of the AZ desert.
Really stunning and beautiful new theme of adventure. I also just came back to home after 4 days camping in Desert , Pakistan. So Its in my knowledge How the desert beautiful Is ...
I’m interested in your set up with the van and the mc carrier. Is the 4x4 a Quigley conversion? And the hitch carrier for your bike, I’m surprised you can find rated for that much weight. Oh yeah, the video was awesome as usual.
Wow, what a great video. I live in the east so love seeing completely different topography. (I have to admit to at first feeling sorry for that mount with that big ol' pig of a bike on it. I have one just like it resting in the garage while I watch the snow fall.)
I know now that Sterling is a trained, experienced professional, but how does one man have all that talent to create and proce a program THIS good? From riding to photography to drone opaeration to audio and music...HOW???
Another beautiful short film, Stirling. It must really slow you down, all the stop-start to get the drone and static camera footage. I very much appreciate the effort. Thank you!
Wow Sterling, what a fun video, an Overlander and Moto-camper! Enjoyed your video and you make it look so easy. Next time you'll have to bring your "Squeeze" with you.. she can cook while get in some more riding :) "I'll be back honey, .. have to keep my Fans happy.." Now I'll be band from RUclips for being a goof!
Hi Streling, I have the same bike and hitch carrier, but I carry my KTM on that trailer and not a GS1200 as the ramp, nor the tongue weight on your van are rated for a GS!!
I'm pretty much going to tour the US next summer on my Tiger 1200 XCX. I have all the camping gear and I am going to document it like you. I have the DJI Mavic Pro and I plan on also getting epic drone footage. Peace Sterling! I love your laid back style and Photo skills! Peace my friend and I hope we hook up next summer! 🙂👍👌✌
Looks great. I do similar travels.. I used to have a Chevy coachman van like yours.. with the elusive bath, shower 🤣 I have now a class C. Joe hauler custom rack. Heavy bike is a 790r if not a dual sport. Same deal, different rig! Keep it up!🤣
Beautiful country. I pack a DS on the back of my Astro for the reasons given. Your rig's a friggin 4 star hotel, pretty deluxe. As to rib eye.. grizzly and cougar love that stuff, so I pack bear spray and beans.. I bring only what I'm willing to share. lol
That's an awesome setup. Can you give some details regarding the trailer hitch and/or the mounting for the bike carrier? Oven been picturing this setup in my mind for months.
Hi Sterling, What an awesome set-up. There is a lot of weight on your hitch with the GS, ever think of a trailer? Your idea of using the van isn't new but the way you tell your story with your awesome video skills is by far the best on the interwebs. Cheers from snowy Northern Ontario Canada.
I never wanted a trailer, I like the freedom of not having one. My set up seems to work pretty well so far. I dont usually go down such rough roads as this with this set up but it worked good.
Can't wait for the ride tomorrow as I sit here watching the snow come down. Beautiful area but you should have cooked that steak over the coals, not in a pan! As others have said I would be interested in hearing more about that thing you carried your bike on.
For heavens sake! I’m a GS owner myself , but would have chosen a KTM 450EXC (106kg) and oh -so capable.... if I was selecting a bike to carry on the back of my van ! Nice films, well made, very best wishes !
Dude, there is an RV park I wanted to check out right where you are just north on 286. I may live there 6 month out of the year. Cabello Lolo Ranch looks cool but not in summer. Ride free

From the perspective of a sequestered soul looking out on a very cold & rainy day, thanks, I needed this.
Why isn't this guy having millions of views and subs on his channel ? it's absolutely mind blowing, some high quality content right here.

Van Camping and Motorcycle Riding!!! Perfect Combination.

I'm a little jealous, you sure know how to travel. Nice temps, great scenery, and it doesn't look over run with people. I believe this is living.

Camping, steak for food, motorcycle riding. Good life. Living a dream. Thanks for sharing.
Great stuff Sterling! I throughly enjoyed this and can’t wait for the remainder.

I’ve ridden many of these roads. The riding in our backyard is epic!

As always, interesting narrative and awesome footage! Thanks Sterling.

The camera work is better than most movies I see...amazing. problem watching the gourmet meals, I am in bed at 1130 now I have to get up and eat,

Amazing edit. So happy to have come across your channel! Really looking forward to future content. Ride safe✌️

Brilliant video my friend. That is proper motorcycle adventure camping vlog. Well done. Glad I have subscribed 👍

absolutely fantastic...thanks for the inspiration!
Another great video. I’d be there to hand out maps to the unlawful entry person, on foot, because I can’t support them any more.
The bike has more power than the van, I'd mount a crf 250 type bike but this is enjoyable.
