This is worth it for the accessories alone. I've been trying to find a suitable boom arm for RUclips videos for a while now. I've ordered two and sent them back because they didn't work well. Plus, I could always use another pop filter.
Agree with Mr. Cass, that's got more high end than the camera mic, and speech is much clearer through it. Great performance at that price point, surprised it comes with those accessories, too.
"Cheap as chips" Matambale. How do they make them at that price? The jury is still out here. There's certainly less bass. But I only really bought it for doing frequency response tests on my speakers, video coming soon. Doomed to failure I know!
Hi Mike, certainly was cheap and well made. I played it back on some good speakers and seemed less bass but I've probably got used to the sound of the camera microphone, so I'm still undecided

Yes the boom arm is high quality, throw away the microphone & keep the accessories!

That looks a bargain Nick and sounds much clearer, sharper and less muffled than your camera mike.

Hi Jim, that seems to be the consensus of opinion by others who commented. I tend to agree having watched back that part of the video.
