If you're checking your account and it's showing showing the money the you redeemed but when you go to buy it's not there try putting it in your cart and buying from there it solved my problem

@@afriend9428 some years ago I bought the limited edition Gears 5 Xbox One X bundle. It came with a Xbox One X console plus download codes for every Gears of War game. I could successfully download Gears of War 4 and 5 and Gears of War Ultimate. The only codes that don't work are the ones for GoW 1-3 which were originally released on the Xbox 360. The error code I am getting is "code not found".
Microsoft could just be a garbage company. I don't understand why I need to go through some process like this everytime I get something new Xbox/Microsoft related and it always turns out to be something on their end. Maybe I'm on a list for people they enjoy screwing over

Make sure you have canceled any other subscription before adding a xbox live or core gift card

Sounds like the code is invalid, so it it's basically saying it's not from ANY gift card

If none of these steps work for you, you can try changing the country or region in your microsoft account before you redeem your code

Your account region is different than the store region, make sure they both match to be able to use account balance

The ZIP code thing is likely something you need to work out with your credit card issuer.
