I use a wittner and i like it because it's hypoallergenic and i haven't had really any problems with it. i had it put on by a luthier and it's served me well for about six years!
I received my violin from Olaf a few days ago - and how can you not love the box wood chin rest and tailpiece - especially with Olaf’s stamp on it! The only thing as beautiful is the sound Highly recommend checking out olafs violins if you’re in the market for a beautiful looking and sounding instrument! 👍 👍 👍
There are also the Hill type clamps, which use two individual legs screwed at one end to the base of the chinrest, and with a smaller foot at the other. Similar in design to the Wittner chinrest, only metal.
Teka Chinrest is the of the most F***** rarest to get especially when your in an asia region before. but today these chin rest is easy to find as indian and chinese market starting producing them 😍. i recently got one last week and it was very comfortable than the freaking Guarneri model hahahaha
I'm used to a Guarneri style Chinrest, but I would be interested to try one of those increased height chin rests. I am not comfortable using a shoulder rest, so a higher chinrest might be better for my neck. Don't know unless I try it. I bought a sheet of thin cork for precisely the reason that cork can get stuck to the varnish. That way if I am taking off a chin rest and putting it back on and I find that the original cork has become all torn up, I can just replace that.
pls never stop making ur videos ( they are really great ).
I like the barrels, with the 90 degree, opposing, holes.
That can make working in close quarters much easier. 😁🖖✌

Hello, Olaf. Can Renaissance Wax be applied, to the cork
pads, to keep them from sticking to the varnish, or will
that just make another problem? 😁🖖✌

Does anyone make sterling silver barrel attachments with designs on them?
It would be nice to make it match any carvings on an instrument 🤔
Whats the difference between the bows you sell?? I have the bow that came with the garibaldi violin and i dont know if its worth upgrading or not…
Where can one get your chinrests?
Which would be closest to the violin got a shorter neck
I have a goofy challenge idea! Find a crappy AI drawing of a violin and make it in real life! Good luck 😁
