- In this video, I show how to make crispy deep fried pork ears. This is great for snacking with your favorite brew or with spicy Lao salads (tam mak houng, tam mak taeng, tam anything). Also, goes great with the pickled mustard greens I show in the last video ( • C/w Nana: Lao Pickled ... ).

Good video.. I love the time you spent in the process! It gives details and clear procedure!!
lm cooking Big Pot of pig, todau , for my friends and family. Everone is sooo excited, we don't get to eat pig, like we did when we grew up. Pig feet, pig tails and pig ears are delicious, when correctly prepared. Pork should be enjoyed, forit is delicious!!! *******
Thank you nana
Hi nanna i was wondering, after dehydrate the pork ear can you rewash it and rehydrate again. I got them alittle salty so now im trying to figured out what to do
Love the tan!
I bought a bunch of pig ears and plan on making this! How long can I store it room temperature or the fridge? It's just myself eating it! I bought like 20 pig ears.
Besides putting them outside, how can I dry them?
Guess I can stop buying it at the Asian store and start making it myself 😊
Hi Nana, I like your cooking style and I love watching make all kinds of stuff.... You have the best way of making delicious Lao food!! Tha k you, thank you😘

Definitely one of my favorite snacks of all time! Fried pig ears! Thanks for making this video. I’ll forward it to my wife 😂
😂
I live in England so I’ll never be able to dry this outside I’m assuming a dehydrator will do the same thing right?
Darren Warmington yes, you can use food dehydrator. When I was younger, my mom would just lay it out in an empty room and blow use a fan to dry it during winter.
Omg!!! thank you for sharing. I've been waiting for a long time. love you SOOOOOO much!!
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO!!!!! LOVE YOUR COOKING 😍😍😍

boil for 30 minutes or medium heat for 30 mins?
I don't do all that with pig ears. Love the recipe but without all the salt. Thanks for showing how to fry pig ears.

half the VIDEO Time is Too Much Rinsing...
Are they even good.
Great video! The only thing I eat from a pig is bacon. I am gonna try the ear using these instructions.
I love it... so much favorite
Nana do I store it in the fridge or cupboard?thank you for sharing. Will Make this for my family.
Arnilisa jimenez if it's completely dried, you don't have to store in refrigerator. Just keep in tightly closed container in cool dry place.
It looks so delicious, better than the ones they sell in the store... I may have to try cooking it too; thanks a lot for your recipe!
Looks good and crispy , your the best mama.
Besides putting them outside, how can I dry them?
I sometimes put them in the oven with the door open and have a fan blow it. But you might not like the smell of the house afterward.
Wow! Thank u for sharing how to cook that! I'll make that tommorow!!!! We Filipinos love to dip it in vinegar with chili and garlic so yummy! 😁😋
Great !!!!!!! Will try it your way !👍🤓
OMG! Looks so good! Why do I watch this. All I do is get real hungry, and angry because I can’t have any
thank you Nana for sharing this I'm gonna try this someday. n by the way I love bake eggs from yr recipe thank you so much my girls love it bake eggs
Thank you for your recipe, can i fry it in a deep fryer if frying a lot? If so what temperature do you recommend Fahrenheit?
How long can you store the air dried ears? The not fried yet
Ramon Iñaki Rodis you can keep the air dried ears for many weeks before frying if you keep it in a tight container away from moisture.
I like it....Thanks for sharing....
Too much rinsing. It washes away the flavors
Hi, for the smell I would suggest lemon juice or vinegar, it works also with chicken love your recipes Nana ;)
I like that crispy pork ear with ice cold 🍻
💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎

like your video but didn't understand drying part for one half of day . it is very hot here in Aiken, South Carolina USA feels like muggy hot 104 , degrees, but the flies bugs are so bad to get into your food outside. is there another way of drying in house?
+Terry Cilica sorry, you message got filtered and I missed it. You can dry the meat inside with a fan blowing on it. If you have a meat dehydrator you can use that also. If you are handy you can build a screen around the meat and dry outside.
Thank you for this video!! I've been waiting!!
I love your recipes
so good to have antime
Thank you
Looks absolutely delicious I must give it a try.
I can just snack on them but eat it with papaya salad 🥗!!
mmmm I grew up eating these
i think it will pop up when you put that again in a boiling oil
they look good , bet they taste fab , 3 days in the sun in uk lol
How do I dry it outside without getting bugs in it?
Looks delicious. I'm going to make that
This is the best thing I've ever seen on the internet for yearsss.
To many steps
Other videos are easier
I really enjoy your videos! And the no soak rice trick you shared worked! Now I don't have to soak and can make sticky rice faster
+Jenny thanks for watching and for letting me know about your result with the rice cooking.
Love it ..! Thanks Yum Yum ..
When you let it dry outside in the sun, how do you keep flies and other bugs off of it? Thanks
Casey Brooks where we live, it's usuallu too hot for the bugs when when I dry the meat outside. If you have a problem with bugs, you need a screen to keep the bugs out.
Your good cook nana.
looks like bacon strips
Yeah, kind of looks like bacon strips, but the middle part can be hard.
I love these 😍 they sell them at my latino supermarket. i am latino :3! But this isn’t a latino dish right? It’s filipino?
wow toast I am Lao. I see Filipino also has something like this
Cooking with Nana Thank you for telling me :)
Nice with rice porridge
I like how thoroughly you clean the ears!
if the suns not out how else can we dry it? I'm in sf so it's cold right now
If you don't have hot sun, you can use a meat dehydrator. You can also use a fan to blow over the pieces, but it will take longer.
neve rmind she said it at the end
Biiiiig kisses 😘 omg I will definitely do this for thanksgiving
Wolf Rain you can dry the pork ears now while it's hot outside then store in the freezer until you are ready to fry.
Food dehydrator is best.
Fried Pork Chop
