I feel embarrassed about liking thomas stuff but there's just something about trains in general that i love so much, the way they move, the way they work and the tracks are just satisfying to look at themselves. I'm my future forever home I hope to have an HO train set in my attic and it be huge and have many types of different trains. I feel like this is a safe spot to get it off my chest... to strangers on the internet for anyone to see, but I feel like there might be other people out there that feel the way I do with being older, being embarrassed they like not just Thomas, but train models in general..

I think it sucks that we have no official OO-scale release of the Furness Railway G5 0-6-0s. Only ten of those were ever made, and none were preserved. Thank goodness for 3D printing and guides on the priming/painting process. We can always make our own.

I've been altering a bachmann thomas to have an open cab and have been trying to find ways to move and secure the circuit board without damaging it. Also, what did you use for the decal for the #1? Did you edit it in Photoshop or use a commercial decal sheet?

Awh, thank you! Yup! The face was 3D printed and designed by, I believe rexecutions. The eyes are 6mm white airsoft pellets. I'd say this might be a challenge for forster time modelers, but I guess youll never know unless you take the chance!

4:31 - Just to clarify though: to keep the motor still, did you use an elastic band or adhesive tape? Ever since I've cut the motor house down to fit the custom body shell, the chassis stopped working properly, as the motor doesn't sit still, and I hav eno idea how to fix it.
