Impressionnant ! J'avais en tete le morceau note à note (ou presque !), et c'est un plaisir absolu de voir à quel point tu l'exécutes si magnifiquement ! MEGA FAN
Cette rythmique me donne envie de tout extérioriser, de tout péter, haha, je surkiffe. Ce sweep comme leitmotiv est brillantissime, si tu savais comme cette chanson a pu m'aider quand je n'allais pas bien.. Elle est formidablement sombre et pourtant j'entrevois dans le passage un peu oriental comme quelque chose de lumineux, qui amène à la réflexion, pour au final repartir sur un espèce de riff de titan qui ne donne qu'une envie : se surpasser. Ca ne parlera certainement pas à grand monde, ce que j'essaie péniblement d'exprimer, pourtant c'est cette atmosphère que dégage cette compo qui me fait tant de bien.
Va vraiment falloir que j'élève mon niveau de jeu pour passer les changements de cordes aussi vite et propre, et surtout le sweep. HAHA

Bonjour Stephan, d'habitude je ne poste quasiment jamais de commentaire sur youtube. Mais je tenais à vous dire que je vous suis depuis des années et que c'est toujours un plaisir de venir régulièrement vous écouter. J'adore votre jeu, tout en fluidité et musicalité, si précis malgré l'énorme bagage technique qu'il nécessite. Etant moi même piètre guitariste, j'essaie de m'inspirer de certains de vos trucs pour composer des solos quand j'accompagne mes élèves. Et les CD d'adagio m'accompagnent toujours en voiture ! Je vous souhaite une bonne continuation et le meilleur pour la suite.

Mr Forté, chapeau bas, mes respects. Merci pour votre inspiration. Cependant, toutefois, néanmoins, maisoùetdoncornicar, j'ai adoré la masterclasse avec Néogéo et j'ai " senti " chez vous, lors de ce merveilleux échange que vous avez eu, une volonté de vouloir surpasser techniquement Néogéo...alors que, franch'ment on s'en fiche de la technique ( que je n'aurai jamais de toute ma life ! ), c'qui compte c'est que les poils des bras se soulèvent lors de l'écoute. Quoiqu'il en soit, vous vous inscrivez, pour moi, parmi les rares et exceptionnels guitaristes français dont nous sommes fiers ! bye
Salut Jérôme, merci pour ce gentil comment! :) En revanche, mais non voyons...Nono est un pote et ce genre de jeu serait d'une puérilité hallucinante !!!! Nous avons chacun notre façon de jouer, la mienne comporte peut être un peu plus de notes, mais c'est vraiment une histoire de style, si on devait rentrer dans ce genre de concours, où serait la musique et le fun? Nous avons juste echangé pour le fun en improvisant sur les backings de Nono, exercice sur lequel il est bien plus à l'aise que moi qui prefere jouer des choses écrites, mais c'etait vraiment cool et bon enfant ! :) Ceci etant dit, merci encore pour ces mots, ca me touche beaucoup! A bientôt :)

That was f*cking great man! It's like to hear Chopin or Tchaikovsky doing metal, the riffs and melody sounds so classical and still you got that dark atmosphere... Thanks so much Joel!! Your words means a lot, I LOVE Chopin! As far as inspiration, I would say mostly works in minor keys. Requiems, Dark movie soundtracks, etc...there's so many I can't name them, but try to look in that direction. Thansk again man :)
I love ypur playing and you create a different atmosphere than a lot of shredders but is it only me that thinks that the lead guitar is mixed a tiny bit too silent?
