Well said bro, The same way I manage my risk to trade in MFF as 0.6% of account size i.e 5% of Over all draw down. Thats a great risk management.

Amazing explanation straight to the point
Trailing my Stop Loss has really worked out for my trading when trying to limit drawdown. You're correct that with MFF, it's better to just miss out on some profits if price retraces and takes me out vs holding bad drawdown even if the trade setup was correct. Great Video Eshan!

If I only do one trade per day risking 1% using stop loss set to 1% and have risk reward set to 1:2 RR, ie I set my Take Profit to 2%, then I shouldn’t have a problem with this drawdown rule, correct? As my daily max drawdown would be less than
5%.
And if I have 2 consecutive trades that went into profit and then went it loss, then that would be total of -1.99% + -1.99% = 3.98%

I treat my daily drawdown as my account so if I have a 5000 account and the drawn down is $250...that's my actual account...then I risk 1 to 5% of that

i dont trade over 1% per trade. i dont really know how i would even be able to hit this rule

But m1 chart aint provide enough data and even the hight quality mt4 data ain’t make sense with the brokers data you do the charting with so personally scalping strategies has always been curve fitted for me
Just get a bigger account and risk 1 percent and drawdown is not a big deal

Can we av a explanation on 12% total draw down in relation to the 5% daily drawdown rule
I was 150pips on GU but Instantly hit drawdown on that yesterday's news and I violated the rules When i asked them They told me 24 hr reset and i was Wtf I was Going to get funded very first time and Still Account had 22 days left I was so upset it happed and Was long on gold all trades instantly hit sl within a sec i kept looking at account and trying to figure out what just happened

That's great with the 0.6 % when you actually have a live account but You ain't passing the challenges on Risking 0.6 per trade .
If you can catch two 1:2 RR trades per week, risking 0.6, that’s 1.2+1.2=2.4% profit.
Do it every week for a month and you have more than 8%.
