Would be cool to see a similar guide on some sort of new 2019-2020 realism mod for GTA 5 where it looks like in all of those vods that i see online where it looks like a new reborn game from the new gen,,,

I left right after he said "simgleplayer mod". It's so sad that GTA doesn't have wheel support, even when the Logitech G Hub detects the game as if it does.
Thank you. I've always wanted a racing wheel and was able to finally get one this recent Black Friday. There is something giddy about pulling someone out of the car and then trying to drive away before they pull you out to fight. It's almost as if GTA was meant to be played this way. It's like jumping into a vehicle.
Can also recommend the Better Vehicle First Person mod, which allows you to move the view around in 1st person when driving and set FOV. Since the default you can barely see anything when driving in first person, and you see the characters hands turning the wheel, which isn't really necessary when you have a real wheel.
You dont have to use a old game version if script hook isn't updated yet, you can just download the latest version of script hook and replace the old version
If your steering wheel works on other games or detects on your computer but not in the game then you have to disable generic steam controller configurations on steam. This is how I got my wheel to detect in the game when it was only detecting from the steering wheel software.

I'ts so annoying, that so much mod controls are made for UK/US only and you're not even able to change the control keys. For example ELS for GTAV. I used Logitech gaming software and it works great as well you do noi need this Hub thing. The problem is that the wheel will not work with scripts like Drag Meets so all of this is useless unless you just want to drive around the city with no scripts which is boring.
my manual transmission file is read-only, and as soon as I uncheck the read-only box and do "apply" I just have to go back to the properties and the file is set back to read-only ! Plz help me

I am also having the same issue. I have followed all the instructions exactly, and changed the menu key to a period, but the manual transmission menu will not load at all. I am running the steam version of GTA V. this is very frustrating. My steering wheel works flawlessly on other games. The only thing that I think I might have done wrong is downloaded the files for Scripthook RDR 2 instead of Script Hook V.
I need a online solution for the steering wheel. That would be dope. Maybe with Xinput Software stuff idk.. Something that won't get me banned from online. I have not installed any drivers(windows 10) it shows no drivers needed. On my wheel there is a logo "Logic 3" and "TopDrive Force Wheel Model No: PS438"
You can't use it in normal gta 5 online. Any attempt could possibly ban you. You can use it in FiveM, but the server you're on needs to allow client-side mods

@@KiloWydd At the time I just rebinded my keys for gtav straight from the steelseries menu and it worked after switching input to g29 wheel before opening gta5.

Unfortunately the newest update broke the scripting for the Mod sadly. Either there won't be an update and you'll have to downgrade your game. Or the modder will update the script in the future. Not anytime soon though...

easiest way to disactivate and activate mods is use OPENIV .. udont need to havbe a copy of 2 GTA V FILES...just click disable mod when playing offline or activate mod.................

As far as I know, going online with any mods will get you banned. I've never tried it though.

From what I hear, you need to be on a server which allows client side mods or one that already has the mod installed (e.g drifting servers)
