    Interesting fact... Jeep sells the RHD Wrangler Unlimited here in the US. They're primarily marketed to contractors who provide postal delivery to areas outside of "normal" US Postal Service delivery routes, its called "Rural Free Delivery". Now you have a useless fact to amaze your friends and family...

    Had to replace mine after hitting a rock I didn't even know I hit. Bent the shaft. Easy upgrade and great recommendation.

    I wonder how much of the placebo effect is at work here? The steering stabilizer does nothing unless you're turning the wheel or getting kickback from the road. On center feel will never change. Any change in resistance turning should be minimal. The whole point of the stabilizer is dampen oscillations in front suspension. A "better" stabilizer will have more resistance when being moved rapidly. Nothing more, nothing less.

    that's a good mod . My tie rod ends are already showing signs of failure on my 18 JL at 60,000 km . Non grease able , good job JEEP .

    It's always funny when I hear you come out with some Americanisms, I almost have to stop and translate it! Like the video Dan, a nice blend of how-to and your usual chit-chat. The step-by-step you did for your winch install wasn't "your" style.

    I did the Fox upgrade and it was worth every dollar. Not sure why this is such a noticeable upgrade for the Gladiator. I upgraded my old JK too but it wasn’t as noticeable. Anyways Dan, another great video. For you Gladiator owners, yes its worth it.

    I really appreciate the effort to the intro. Also, from that perspective, that seems like an obvious break point for something under the Jeep. Good on people for figuring out how to fix it.

    Thanks Dan, My talents don’t “really” include mechanic skills, and I’ve been wanting to do this exact upgrade on my JK. (Upgrade & relocation) Mine hangs down too low as well, and now I feel more comfortable taking care of it.

    I've seen older 4x's with a steering stabilizer added using u-bolts. This is quite nice AEV and nice to have something off-the-shelf.

    FYI - There is an Asia PAC TSB that addresses the “steering dead spot / steering wandering” you refer to. It’s a free upgrade / recall carried out by Jeep…

    My Jeep TJ doesn't even have one. It's really only there as a band-aid fix for death wobble, which doesn't really happen until the suspension is very worn.

    Oh boy you just saved me some grief. I was about to pull the trigger on the Falcon Nexus 2.2, need to do some more research on fitment to a RHD JL. with the way the Nexus bracket is inbuilt the shock I'm not sure the Nexus will work at all. Might end up with the same AEV as you, I was also looking at the OME as an option...

    I noticed in the video when you were under the truck, I could see the steering knuckle. Yours has a rubber bellows covering the u-joint inside the steer knuckle. The US/Canadian specs have an open u-joint. Is yours still a universal joint? Or is it a CV joint under the bellows.

    I'm sure you will, but it's always worth repeating; plenty of safety equipment when you're cutting that piece off!

    For 60k, you shouldn't have to do mods like this. " It's a Jeep Thing "......and yes, ....we do understand.

    G'day, just about to do the steering dampener conversion on my 2021 JT rubicon and having trouble finding a RHD kit.. seems you've managed it with AEV. Is there a supplier you used that has the track bar pin and billet included? Thanks and apologies if you've answered this elsewhere..

      You have to buy the stabilizer, then buy the relocation kit separately. Lots of people use Terraflex, other brands work fine too.

      It was when I did that video, but later I installed an AEV 2.5" lift, staying with the 33s

      @@TheRoadChoseMe During full articulation with sway bar disconnected did the steering stabilizer ever contact the line thats directly above stabilizer? Looks like a coolant line of some kind. I just installed similar steering stabilizer relocation kit, and new stabilizer on my stock height JL rubicon; really enjoying the content on this channel. I appreciate the reply, and info.

      No, there was no stock anywhere, so I ordered it directly from the US

    Did you end up cutting off the steering stabilizer mount point after installing the new stabilizer?

      I did, yep, when I was installing the new front bumper so it was easy to get in under there.

      (Note - that is JUST the stabilizer, if you want to relocate it you'll need a different kit for that)

    Well if you folks drove on the proper side of the road .....
    Hahahaha.
    I imagine it wouldn't be bad driving a right hand drive with an automatic. But I don't think I could ever get used to shifting a manual with my left hand. (And I'm left handed).

      You really do just get used to it.
      The hardest part for me was driving my Africa Jeep on the wrong side of the road, then on the correct side of the road again.. when I jump in the drivers seat I'm never entirely sure which side I should be driving on!

    The engineers who disigned this must have hated right hand drive jeep drivers, untherwise why would you do that
