So... I played this deck at my LGS. One of my opponents legit pushed my deck off the table, threatened to beat me up in the parking lot after the game, and called me an F#%king Ret#%d. Then he got banned from the LGS.... It was pretty entertaining.
Don't forget the synergy between Venser, Corpse Puppet and Throne of Geth. You can sac the token Venser makes to Throne to proliferate which remakes the token.
@Jeff Hall I love mine, I used about 20 instants and sorceries that have target creature I control deal damage to target creature I don't control. Essentially turning all my 1 drop 1/1 deathtouchers into snipers. It's unstoppable in 1v1, but you need to play cautiously in multi-player. Once you take out one player the table usually avenges them/takes you out as a safety precaution.

My "lose your friends" deck is my Breanor voltron deck. He has: +2/0 for each equip and first equip each turn cost 0. He's a monster with all the "swords of" and equip 0 or 1. This guy becomes unholy with trample and doublestrike. Yeah, you can add the other creatures to add to the effect, but the equipment you have can handle all of that. It's a great way to lose friends for sure.
Plague rats reminds me of something- wouldnt it be neat if there was a card(s) that synergized with giving/proliferating poison counters on yourself? You gain benefits as you become closer to compleation
I have a poison deck that is based off a combo "The Professor" demonstrated. It uses Venerated rot priest and storm it is so satisfying to pull off. Every creature in the deck has toxic, infect, or death touch the commander is Xenagos, god of revels and it has Wrenn in Six in it. side note( or play group does not have a ban list we also allow legendary planeswalkers as commander so i sometimes swap in wrenn and six)
Omg, this is so DIRTY... I love it, lol. I was gonna build Ramses but hadn't even considered going this route. The fact that your assassins don't even have to do damage to the player on the turn you kill then with poison is NUTS
This is fantastic because infect doesn’t help your other opponents by whittling down your target for them to steal your kill unless they are also playing infect.
I love the idea, but this is a goldfishing deck for when you want to stroke yourself at home. You can get to 21 commander damage on 1 opp just as fast or faster than you can to 10 toxic, and you won't be as hated. You also can go full assasin and won't have to worry about making sure you have assasins available and can always attack one at last turn for the wincon.
I swear I have the worst luck. ANY time I use a poison deck, there's always someone with a bunch of fog spam just stalling me by making me not being able to attack.
So im a bit confused, this cards got the set symbol for dominaria united commander but ive got both commander decks and i havnt got this card am i missing somthing
Yes you are, there are "commander" cards that release alongside the set found only in set and collector booster packs as singles. they are intended for commander and not standard legal hence not being found in the draft boosters. Rootpath Purifier is an example of a card from another set that wasnt in the commander precons but was pullable in packs. This is also the reason why you will see borderless art versions of cards usually only found in the precons.

Man, tcg direct sure has been a bummer lately. feels like I havent been able to get full carts in months. Cart optimizer keeps giving me 20+ in shipping. a shame. but otherwise fatastic list, i really wouldnt have thought all of these would be so cheap. bless
I feel like this is only applicable to play groups that actually stop playing when somebody wins. I know so many that will just say; OK like will continue playing so you can like leave the table or just watch, they won’t want to restart to one-mana, reshuffle and everything like that. which kind of makes it feel purposeless to win with that win con. ❤ love it tho i will most likely build this regardless love the deck !
If anyone in my playgroups refused to go into another game with me after I won with a fair and square alternate win con I think I would calmly just pick up my deck and flip the table right before going to find new people to play with. Luckily i dont play commander at LGS's much really so it would at least be my own table in my house haha

I had this deck it'd deceptive and I didn't like it for that reason if I want my friends to hate me I just play syr Conrad or tergrid

Necrogen Communion returns the creature back into play and not to your hand.
