I did start The Gilded Crown through the library and I dont think I even made it through a chapter. The writing felt really dense and I was not in the mood or mindset for it. I MAY try it again if I hear good reviews I also do plan on reading Fairytale but Ive heard its a must read through audio because the production is good, so I think you should just so that when you try it!
I really liked Ordinary Monsters. The best way I can describe it, is Victorian X-Men. The guy that reads the audiobook has a very nice voice, and it’s actually a fairly quick read. So I’d at least try that one before you unhaul 🤷♀️🐈
I say keep Fairy Tale by Stephen King. Not sure if it will hit for you, because his books tend to land differently for everyone BUT I am curious about your thoughts on that one.
I'd be surprised if you liked Fairy Tale, it got very mid reviews from most folks that I saw reading it. No votes on what to keep, they all seem like good ones to unhaul.
What about keeping the bone shard daughter and just pretending it’s a standalone and just get rid of the rest of the series? And that way you can still keep a book that you loved
