    Guys NOTE:
    This is NOT a good method to use. This is actually pulling out the sebaceous filament, inside the skin. It is actually really bad to pull those filaments out because that will make holes in the skin that end bringing the blackhead back with an even a coarser filament. These sebaceous filaments are little tiny hairs that are gathered around the dirt that causes the blackhead itself. It actually protects the skin on the inside, where the blackhead lies…when you pull that completely out, there is nothing protecting the skin inside the hole that now is left. So now you are proned to many skin infections. This is not a good idea! You can do the same exact thing without pulling out those sebaceous filaments with mud masks and other types of blackhead treatments.

    As an esthetician, I can see the benefits of plucking instead of squeezing as there's less chance of breaking the skin, which means less chance for infection, but that's only if you're super careful and you don't accidentally pinch the skin. It is a bit more time-consuming, but it is really, really satisfying. Lol.

    • @MissyZilla
      @MissyZilla 2 месяца назад +18

      @@homesync5708I know you didn’t ask this question directly to me, but pores don’t shrink back. I’m not aware of any product or procedure that can make that happen. They will refill eventually, but if you keep a good skincare regimen you can prevent them from protruding out and more visible. Alternatively, you could just pluck the filaments out every time they come back but it may stretch your pores open even more. It’s dirt/sebum and/or makeup that’s filling up the pores, if you wash your face and use salicylic acid they usually won’t return to this degree.

There is no harm done to the skin around it, No sticky sheet and no squeezing, or trauma to the area at all. Just open pores. I like it - better than a pore strip bc a pore strip also strips your skin and if you don’t protect it after you can get hyperpigmentation marks like those that can appear after upper lip waxing before a tropical vacation.
    What is really gross though is just leaving them there. Use a gauze and wipe your tool with some astringent or something in between.

      Oh he said PORE strip?? I could not understand that word 4 the life of me. But I've tried tons of pore strips since I was 14 like B4 the internet existed & never ever not once not 1 brand, even wit proper prep, has any pore strip EVER picked up ANYTHIN out of my pores. And there's stuff in there cuz I have large pores on my nose & under my eyes on my cheeks like a plus sign on my face as opposed 2 the typical T zone T, it's more like a +. I always thought the commercials, vids & all that must be lies & photo manipulation cuz I dreamed of seein the lil porcupine spikes on a pore strip (that's wat it look like 2 me lol) but I never even saw ONE. I've tried multiple brands over 25 yrs & nuthin. I've never had a whole face or nose full of HOLES tho lol . Maybe I'm thrown off cuz it's a magnified image & the holes aren't rly big like that. Also I've never ever had stuff in my pores that thick & solid tht u could actually grab it & pull it out! I've never seen this B4... This ability 2 pluck the whole filament out w/o even squeezing 1st 2 get it started & stickin up a lil so there's somethin 2 grab. I wish my skin did this. I'd be obsessed & it looks less damaging than the squeezing I do. u could just swipe a toner over it wen done 2 shrink the pores so they don't refill as much.

Better to wash with a salicylic acid face wash in the morning and use a retinal serum at night to loosen the sebum and shrink the pore slowly and minimize possible damage to the skin.

Brushing the extracted filaments off the nose from previously reused dry cloth seems yulkly. I can imagine the bacteria and microorganisms being rubbed into the nose is plentiful and nasty.
