I'll try that. I did make a community post about Dewalt blades where the prong at the end was shaped different, it looked like a quality control issue.
I agree, but the DeWalt issue might be a manufacturing issue with their blades. I'm in the process of trying to find out what major brands do in fact work with it, and thus far it appears some (2) DeWalt's do. Some of those little tang nubs are rounded, some are squared off, and some are a tad longer. I'm thinking its not a brand issue per say, but a manufacturing issue, but its a crap shoot as to which ones work. It might be an issue with the tool I have, but I've bought 3 from 2 different stores (both Lowes), in 2 different states (North Carolina and Virginia), and the those 3 all have the same issues with the DeWalt ones. I did find one Lenox, one Spider, and 2 Diablo blades didnt work either.
Well, it's great knowing this but disappointing to hear. Could a person modify the blades or the tool to make them work? I have a fair amount of DeWalt blades already but like the handle...
I’m sure the tolérenles of the tough built are just too tight. And I think we should try to modify full blades and see if it just needs a little rounding off

Just pick mines up yesterday. Sweet
Enjoy it.
Can’t get the wood saw in
That's weird. Are you talking about a regular reciprocating blade, or one that came with the package?
I couldn't get my wood saw in either. Ended up using the drywall blade for a small wood project.
Think the drywall blade is made so it won’t go into a sawzall
Probably, I guess if you need a sawzall on drywall, something has gone very wrong.
Mil vs tho??
Huh?

Not taking DeWalt blades is a deal breaker for the Toughbuilt. They should have tested all the major brand blades....

Can you modify the blade to fit , or can you put a bigger blade in like a 12 wood blade from a sawzall blade , that would be nice

DeWalt tools and especially accessories are not that popular outside USA. Toughtbuilt probably aimed at the global market.
Toughbuilt is not a lowes product
Lowes is the only retailer that is exclusive to ToughBuilt. The amazon listing you can find are 3rd party sellers.
@@Survival-gyver Menards also carries it. I'm not trying to be difficult, just letting you know.
The closest Menards near me to check. But thank you for the heads up.
