Man I have such a hard time trusting reviews where people get the gear for free. Thanks for reviewing the gear you actually bought and used!

@@korykoehnen4720 Thanks for watching and I appreciate that. I would add that I have taken products from companies in exchange for reviews or been part of ambassador programs like with my Kuat Ibex. My hope is that my non-sponsored reviews show people that even when I do get a product I'm giving you the same review I'd give you if I bought it. If I, or others didn't take those opportunities, we'd have less content to put out. Plus it helps give perspective on other products in the same category that we would not otherwise have or been able to purchase. Lastly, like with the Billet Tiedowns and some upcoming reviews, I'd not even have tried some of those products.
But it is hard to know for sure. I hope I have built good trust with those that view my videos so when I do get lucky enough to test something for free my opinion still matters. The hardest part for me is value, and I always try to let the viewer decide that for themselves, but if you hear me say that I recommend even, or especially at a given price. you know I'd spend my own money on it either way. Thank again for the comment and the view!
