I remember being 15, this was the first CD I ever owned, my gma gave it to me for Christmas. We had to go to multiple stores to find it. Then finally one store said they’d help us get it, I didn’t know shit about getting music back then, I’m 23 now. The stores didn’t have the album, we had to order it. Once I got it I was in love. I remember crying and laughing with this CD, it was my favorite. And to this day, it’s still my favorite album I have EVER owned. Listening to this makes me wish times were as simple as they were then. But, it is was it is.

No but really. This makes me almost cry. We had it too. Me and my two cousins would every summer meet, steal some empty boxes from shops and hide in attic, making cardboard models. Not exactly castles, but anyway, great times. One of that cousins got in some trouble, the other one is now traveling to all possible mountains of the world and I work for a broadcasting company not being at home pretty much all the time. Lifes went on, but I still can't refuse that kid inside. ...just hoping the other ones have it the same. This song touched me deeply. Thank you.

I'm a 28 year old retired Army veteran and about 2 years ago I got divorced and lost everything. First my house went so i moved into an apartment and started all over again. Had to buy all new everything. Eventually my job crashed. I went broke, had to sell all my newly bought furniture just to keep a roof over my head and food on the table for when my kids visited. Eventually it was just me, my bed, and my computer and even those things I eventually lost, I had to move back to my home town, lost my car, my kids, and had nothing to my name except my computer...Sleeping on the floor of my friend's house..Unemployed, no money, no car, and an empty shell of a great person I used to be. My kids resented me, my ex wife hated me and I had nothing to show for all the years of hard work except a computer and inflatable mattress...I legit pondered suicide very deeply on multiple occasions. Now, here I am, 2 years after the fact with a wonderful paying job, car, a roof over my head, new furniture, a little puppy, and girlfriend who supports me with all her goddamn heart. A girlfriend who helped lift me off the curb, dusted me off and helped me build a cardboard castle. This song reminded me that you can make anything from nothing if you just keep fucking going and never give up.
