It’s not meant to be aggressive. It’s a classic family/business sedan with a 3.L V6. If you want something more sporty there is plenty of choice with the 4.0 V8 engine like the s6, s7, rs7 etc…
Odd, as I thought all S4's have active exhaust. You stated in this review that this one doesn't have it. On my 2021 S4 (same B9.5 generation as this one being reviewed), you can totally hear the difference in exhaust note going from the "comfort" drive mode to the "dynamic" (sport) drive mode.
@@BrosFOURRSpeedJust bought the same car but prestige model. The car you tested does quiet the muffler sound, just as quadzilla said. They all do it on their drive select feature. Even the A4 has that feature.
Will be very interesting to see what Audi does with the B10, coming in ‘23 or ‘24. Their CEO says that all new (and final) combustion engines will be coming.
@@marku3423 I think you’re right. Audi seems to be in a rut for now. Product line overall is a bit tired and the problems at Cariad keep pushing back launch dates. A4 e-tron probably won’t be until 2026/27 at this rate.
The flat black plastic on the front corners contrasts poorly with the high gloss used on the main grill and surrounds. High gloss used throughout would give it a more high end appearance. Great review!
Mid 60k is a lot of money for this car IMHO. I'd rather get a Genesis G70 which maxes out around 10K less with many of the same features, same performance, a better warranty and probably cheaper maintenance costs.
@a fillion if I got a car with a 10 year, 100K mile warranty I won't be in a rush to sell it. I'm keeping it until well after it's paid off. Cars aren't an investment. You want an investment then buy a G70 and invest the 10K you saved on the Audi S4 in stocks.
As someone who own a g70… I take the s4 based on the quality of the car and if you by the car used.. you will not get the full warranty of Genesis and it’s perks. Plus the car has extreme turbo lag
@Rodney Thompson Interesting. Why didn't you get the S4? You're the first person I ever hear complain extreme turbo lag on the car. Never heard the complaint in the dozens of reviews I've seen. I have a Stinger GT which has the same power train and I don't have any turbo lag at all. At least nothing noticeable. You have the V6 or the I4 engine?
@@Maljey I currently own the s4. I had the 2019 g70 3.3 sport prestige for 4 years. The turbo took forever in the low torque range. It’s gives out on high speeds. You have to drive it awhile for the turbos to go. Also on the tech side… s4 has it (even some Hyundai beat it). No wireless CarPlay, sluggish infotainment, etc. The exterior does beat the s4 but the Power delivery beats the g70. Plus the maintenance is slightly cheaper but in my area .. there is no genesis stand alone dealers so you have to do Hyundai and that can be pain. Brought one in 2019 at 2k miles and if you are not the first owner (doesn’t even matter the miles). The warranty is extremely limited to 60,000 and you can’t use any of the Genesis perks. Trade mines for the s4 due to the car ac failing and cost of 10k to replace and Hyundai couldn’t give me a Date when the part could arrive.
Love love this car, the sound and crackles are perfect
Love my 2014 S4 I have a feeling I will miss the supercharger engine when I finally get a new one thanks for the review
The SC motor is a lot of fun! I kind of like the drama to them a bit better then the TT. But both have a lot of power potential
Can you review the new Audi A4 Avant please?
We don’t get that car in the USA!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah, too bad. Same goes for Asia, no big deal, but there is an Audi RS4 Avant B9 in Malaysia! You should try one!
I wish it looked more sporty and aggressive
It's not supposed to. Being a sleeper is what it does best.
If you're looking for appearances then the Audi A5 and A7 series takes the cake.
It's elegant and timeless, every else is ugly in comparison

That’s just Audi. Not many aggressive body lines. Very understated.
Clean smooth car. Always loved these
Oh my gosh!!! This will be my first car bro.
First car ?? The fuck?

That’s an option from what I saw, not on this vehicle tested.

I can guarantee you the B10 won't be a 2023 model here in the US. 2024, maybe, but more likely 2025.

What is the size of the engine?
I went over that in the first minute!
Dunno why but I prefer the s3 better looking
S3 is a great car! Check out our channel for videos on our S3! New RS3 coming soon too

To me the stinger gt is a better car than the g70 due to sightly better timing.
M340 > S4
Depends on what you are looking for from your sedan!
