I SOBBED reading Ghosts of the Shadow Market, it was so good!! I'm getting ready to do my first reread of the shadowhunters world and I'm feeling intimidated even though I know I'll love it 😅 I think I'm going to tackle it in chronological order, breaking up the novelas and everything. YES! I also stan Jem Carstairs!!! 😄 love him so much!
Full on sobs that racked my entire body!! Yes!! Loved it though😭😭 No need to be intimidated, it’s like seeing old friends again :) Ahh I want to eventually break up the novellas and do a reread like that, good luck! A Jem stan, you have fine taste! 😌 Happy reading!🫶🏼📖
The Shadowhunters codex is mentioned in the clockwork angel as Will give it to Tessa to read and she starts to know more about Shadowhunters from the codex.
OMG I needed this video. I started the series on Netflix and everyone tel me that this have nothing to do with the books and I was thinking of started it ! But there's too many books XD
Glad you found it! The show and books are very different, but still the same vibe! Just go in to one of the books and get a feel for it, after that they’ll fly by and it’s awesome to have so many stories in the world I promise 🥹 Happy reading if you decide to try the books!🫶🏼📖
I am still watching this entire video, even though I have read every single shadowhunter book, because I find it really fascinating the different orders you can read these books. I personally read them by publication order.
I love watching these or just deep dives into anything shadowhunter related! Thanks for watching🫶🏼 Nice, did you read the novella bind ups too in pub order?
@@AndrieReads Yep, I read all the novella bind-ups in pub order too. I binged read all the shadow hunter books in pub order during lockdown and online learning.
I feel extremely overwhelmed like I remember reading only the two books of The Mortal Instruments and I would love to start again but actually from the scratch and it feels like there are so many books I wont be able to
Looking like another series I am about to start reading this amazing book series thank you for your amazing help please stay safe and enjoy your reading 📖 ❤❤❤please pray for me as I am really battling with my thoughts and anxiety and mental health issues so I am hoping that I can use this to help me sidetracked my anxiety issues love you and your amazing channel love your family friend John ❤❤❤❤
Okay so after watching this entire video and doing a lot of research on the internet about the reading order for the Shadowhunter Chronicles, which order would you recommend for a first time reading it? Have in mind I'm someone who always loves to read in Chronological order, but I don't want to spoil the story or get confused. The reading orders I found on the internet are Cassandra Clare reading order and Chronological order, these are the two that I liked best, but the Chronological order doesn't quite explain when to read The Bane Chronicles & Tales From the Shadowhunter Academy & Ghosts of the Shadow Market without breaking them into little sections here and there, so when to read them as a whole in the Chronological timeline/order?
If I was you, I think the best order is the one I read them in it’s in the video under Andrie’s Order! I read them for the first time through like this including the novellas and everything made sense and the reveals were impactful and all that!
Hey can u please tell the difference between the series on Netflix and the books like how r they different if u can make a video on that that'll be helpful
Can some please tell me in which books and chapters (other than The infernal devices) will jem/tessa or will appear? I love their story more than any other (but I droped the mortal instruments at 4th boom so i want now to read any chapter that will have tid characters

This was super helpful… so which order do you recommend?
Definitely publication order since that’s how it was meant to be read!
thank you so much

do you read the wicked powers series after chain of thorns? ( publication order )
Can some please tell me in which books and chapters (other than The infernal devices) will jem/tessa or will appear? I love their story more than any other (but I droped the mortal instruments at 4th boom so i want now to read any chapter that will have tid characters
The Dark Artifices have Jem and Tessa but it’s more so cameos. They don’t stay for too long.
Isn’t there supposed to be a 3rd book for the eldest curses?
The way i still need to read ghosts of the shadow market 🤡🤡
AND ITS THE BEST NOVELLA BIND UP
So I just got lady midnight and haven’t read any of her books before, is it alright?
Ooh I would start with city of bones (and the whole mortal instruments series) at least before lady midnight
Would you recommend buying the mortal instruments books ?
Yes!
