Top video. Shame this isn’t properly explained in the game itself!
It’s really fun messing up a congested timetable by adding trains in between hehe.
Obviously you can’t displace an existing train, you can’t put a train in a path which an existing train has been cleared for either.
You just earned a new subscriber, I'm so glad I found this.

thks for this video and help but this is such a spastic game now😢. You would think ‘free roam/sandbox’ would give you a train choice, not just spawn you like some homeless guy on a platform… wondering what the buttons do on the xbox controller (ie a newbie)😢

Probably because you control setup is probably set up different

@TallinnRoofs you can't edit timetables, sadly, but you can spawn a 323 in and do it that way by setting a route with setting a path
I'm clicking a and x and it won't select it

You need to go on map your map if your on xbox or playstation the select button near your left stick and I think it's 9 on keyboard and when you get on your map click on your train either with A or X on Xbox or PS or left click on mouse and the go click set path and the you will get a plus sign and click on the route where you want to go and you can't do multiple stations either
How you turn off the signals bc all my signals are red and I can’t get passed them

I know how to spawn a train but idk about the routes

Anyone know why i own a train, shows up in my trains but when i try to spawn it, its not on the train list
It depends on what train you're trying to spawn

When you click on your loco/unit it will bring up a box saying set path or cancel click on set path with either (A/X/Left mouse) and the a + will appear click on the track where you want to set it to and no you can't do multiple stops

How do you get so many train options I only get the passengers I kinda want the freight ones to do you have to buy it
If the routes don't have freight trains on it as standard then you need to buy extra dlc for it

Like if you have Antelope Valley route you to own Cajon Pass to get the freight on it

No console, but I if you want, get the spawn menu up its tab on a computer

@kissdani1911 Well, what you do is go to your map, which is select on xbox or playstation controller or 9 on the PC and click on your train then a box will come up click on set path the + sign will come up and what do you is you click on the line where you want to go then when you clicked on it the light will go green for you

@@simhubplus2307 Yes sir I downloaded it especially for this mod, but I did not find it, only the first three options. I do not know whether I should activate it for it to appear for me, or for it to appear on its own.

And if you want to set a path for your train, you use the map and press A on your train, not X, as when I say X, I mean playstation
How to make ai train
In free roam, you can't make ai trains, but if you go into a scenario and delete the train you're using, you will have ai trains around you, and they will be there by default

I didn't put passengers in free roaming at all they just spawned like that
