The cinematography and editing was on point. I feel the guy playing Patrick should have focused more on varying his tone and making his voice tremble to reflect his anger. Also, let's see Paul Allen's shot for shot recreation.
Yeah honestly everyone did a great job, and cheers to the guy in the role of Patrick but he didn't give off the vibe at all. As you stated, his tone and timing was off - it would be no issue but I had the feeling they tried to do the lines exactly like in the original scene and not just recreating it in their own way.
The Bateman actor's voice was often very, very good (0:30 "Allen has mistaken me for this idiot"), although as somebody else has pointed out, at the point where he looks at all the cards he's arguably showing desperation, rather than "macho-insecure" anger
I like the cinematography but you actors need to slow it down. Be comfortable with your lines. It seems too rushed. You gotta own the attitudes that go with the lines
I'm so glad you created this. It gives me lots of warm feelings because it was my older brother Peter's favorite movie and he's no longer here anymore. Miss him so much. I still remember watching American Psycho back in 2002, when I graduated from High School. That memory will always stay with me.
if you look and listen closely you can see that bateman didn't breathe after he said "impressive very nice" which reveals how stressed he actually is here. Before he says "Let`s see Paul Allens Card" he swallowed his accumulated salvia in his mouth attended with his last bith of air he has using these words. This scene was brilliant.
The lighting and setting is very similar i initially thought I was watching the original when I initially clicked on it then I realized the actors were different. Top notch lighting.
Everything is perfect but Patrick Bateman. Louis, Bryce and Paul Allen characters just did better performance than the original ones. With a good Bateman this video would be a masterpiece.
Seeing this after 3 years. The guy who played Bateman was expression less. The way he delivered his lines didn't feel like batman at all but on the other hand the guy who played Paul Allen nailed it tho.
Paul Allen and Marcus's actors were great. This scene would have been a lot better is a couple of these guys were clean shaven and didn't film with their neckbeards.
I wouldn’t say this stands a chance against the original (although I don’t think it’s meant to be) Bale’s portrayal of Patrick was a lot more dramatic, whereas these guys.. well.. very tame, rigid acting. Bale’s adaptation radiates more arrogance and charm. But still, good job.
Impressive, very nice. Let's see Paul Allen's business card scene recreation
Look at that subtle off white coloring...
@@BarrettBurgin the tasteful thickness of it

Hats off to the guy playing Louis... Knocked it out of the park
When Halberstram walks in and turns lol that was well done.
Да, как в оригинале.
I thought i was the only one
@A Way of Life You mean Paul?
How is the Fischer account going?
This shows how great those actors are.
Yes. And how awesome the filmmakers are in making a film that could have been average at the hands of roughly everyone else.
Yeah same, it made me appreciate the original a lot more 😂

이 정도도 잘한 편이긴 한데 이거 보고 원본 다시 보니 연기가 예술인 게 보였다

I like that reenactment, it was well done. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to return some video tapes.
The guys for Luis and Paul are perfect
This is like how the scene would be in the real world 😂
very well done, i love the care to recreating the character movements. Very nice
This Bateman is just expression less. No variations in voice.

Doogie Hauser as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho 2. The Van Patten dialogue is spot on lol
there already is a 2 and we don't talk about it
Wow it was perfect.

Average meeting of business students.
Very nice recreation ! Congrats guys
funnily enough everyone looks like a believable character except Patrick
Wow! This recreation was wonderful! wonder how long it would be until this scene becomes a meme, because it's becoming everywhere on RUclips.
This videos diserves 100x more view. That is just impressive
Voice of Patrick batman 🔥🔥🔥
The card scene especially the part where he says nimbus and pats the card looks like it’d make a great asmr video

Paul allen and bateman should have traded characters
its well made tho like why.. why did u recreate it like whats the point? but well made

The line delivery in this is absolutely terrible, but the shot recreations/ camera angles are on point and well done

But what these vain businessmen failed to notice is that "acquisitions" is spelled incorrectly on all of their cards.
How did you record the audio ?
Bateman, not a good performance.
all around very good. really good acting by pauls actor. bateman lacked a lot of things tho
the spelling of "Acquisitions" is still wrong.
