Yes Jason, Try eating that LOW Walleye. It tastes better than the fresh water shrimp Walleye you are used to eating. I do disagree on the Sauger. The constancy of the meat is mushy. To me anyway. I give all my Sauger to my favorite widow. Gold, pink and chartreuse are the best bet on color. I have fished the lake for about 45 years. I love the lake. Fish on and please keep the great content coming.
@@giterdungary7157 I like to hook emerald and spot tailed shiners this way as they seem to stay alive better and have great action by hooking the shiner just above the caudal fin.
Great show
Nice !
I passed you guys on HWY 2 the other day as you came through Bemidji. I wondered where you were headed in this cold front!
Yes that was some wind!
Nice
If it Rattles Gold , Red , or Glow , to catch a walley , put it down the hole. IS MY LOTW Motto when it comes to lure choice. 👍

Are you using the 1/4 oz spoon or 1/8 oz?
what type of rod do you prefer for catching walleyes?
@@LeviBuchholz I like a 30 to 34 inch ML fast action for the smaller spoons.
What effect does the hook placement have on that shiner? Never seen that before
