from another video of this house , there was info that proved my dog was bred here. i don’t want to give that info away out for respect. but i just wanted to assure that the puppies that did make it out of here are very much loved and we all keep in touch through social media ❤
@@markcarson3215The last known date of occupancy from this video is 2018 from a receipt (which is probably shown in the video mentioned which is where the proof would come from).. so the puppies are probably 6-7 years old. Glad they made it out and went to a loving family
That house is not that old either. That’s crazy. I was a cop with the ASPCA in NYC and this was very common with hoarders. Their hearts were bigger than their heads and these poor souls would collect these animals thinking they were saving them, yet as you can see, it just made things way worse. It wasn’t uncommon for us to find the owners deceased inside these homes weeks or months after they died but neighbors would just think the smell was normal.
As I'm sitting here watching, with my dog curled up beside me, I believe there is a special hell for people who mistreat animals. Especially to that degree. There is no way it wasn't absolute cruelty.
Oh, there's a special hell for people like that. They get to experience it at the hands of someone like me while they're still alive, eventually begging for the death I'm not merciful enough to give 'em.
Animal collectors as my vet called em. Mental disease. Or a puppy/bird mill. Equally awful. Verging on plain ol hoarding from the amount of stuff piled everywhere.
Agreed… my cousin adopted a stud dog from a busted puppy mill & that dog would literally FREEZE in place , if anyone got even a little near . It stood so still it looked stuffed. It was just HEARTBREAKING. That poor dog loosened up just a little after about 8 months.. but never learned to completely relax. Those puppy mills are disgusting
I'd bet this was an animal hoarder, someone with mental problems that just kept taking in animals until they were way, way beyond the ability to care for them, and overwhelmed. Not that our biggest sympathy shouldn't be for the animals, because it should. But this person may have been well intentioned and things just spiraled out of control for them. Plus it looks like they were quite old.
This one was a heartbreaking video Brent, hopefully, these animals have found a much better place filled with love and peace. Have a wonderful weekend Brent
I feel at one time this place was filled with love. For animals and for family. At some point the ones that cared and kept everything together just weren't there anymore. It breaks my heart that ANYONE'S legacy or name is stained like this. Did the remaining family just not care, or was there no one left to care😔
As much misery and pain as I see in this video, I also see 100 to 200 year old antiques in there, just destroyed. Yeah, this may be one of the saddest videos you've ever made. I hope you're ok. Some things are hard for our brains to process.
Yes. There are some incredible antiques in this house. But this person was an animal hoarder and for sure a puppy mill breeder I hope that the universe has delivered the appropriate misery to the individuals who did this… R.I.P. to all the animals that died on that property. And it would’ve been hundreds 😭😭😭
My theory is that this was a lifelong family business at one point, likely ran by a childless couple. In old age the man passed leaving wife on her own to care for a massive property, structures and likely hundreds of animals. The kennels were likely taken out of commission as mobility became an issue, dogs were moved into the house into crates, however that also proved to be unmanageable. The house was too big to keep in livable shape and the animals were too much to care for daily for someone who was completely alone, probably sick and depressed and very old. I would love to learn about the family that lived there because I don’t see abuse I see someone who spent their whole life caring for the only beings they had to turn to in their final years on this planet - their dogs and birds. What amazes me also is the ample virtue signalling by the commenters but not a single concern for the elderly who dwelled in those same walls.
You can tell that the house was a beauty at one point, but once the hoarding set in this was the result. The cobwebs aren’t spiders, it’s an accumulation of dirt. In situations like this, the dirt just starts to…stick. I am sure whoever lived their was elderly (bathroom seat on the main floor) and either they passed or were removed from the house. The family most likely decided to leave the house rot rather than clean it up. Can’t say I blame them. But man, you handled that entire experience with class. Kudos.
If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say this is an extreme hoarder situation. Probably triggered by the death of a partner. Hoarding is never good but when it includes animals it is especially tragic. I hope they are all in loving homes.
That's no excuse! Just because someone died doesn't make it okay to live like that, regardless of the reason, its simply pathetic. Then you add animals to the mix. Yeah hopefully the person died due to their own pathetic living situation and hopefully those animals were rescued.
@@-Its420Somewhere it makes me angry too, but hoarding is a mental illness that is triggered by loss of some kind. Some people don’t know how to deal with grief so they push it off and don’t allow themselves to work through it. It manifests itself in ways like hoarding. They build up “barriers” to protect themselves. The animals are a whole other illness altogether.
@@-Its420Somewhere I get your anger but this is obviously mental illness. Noone in a healthy mental state wants to live this way. This kind of content creates awareness about such illness so we all can recognize it and get help for the person suffering it before thing gets to this point. Horrifying how animals how to suffer as a consequence !
@@AbandonedUrbexCanadaI feel so bad that you even have to see that . I know what it’s been like for me having worked with animals and also seeing th e bad side of animal hoarding it takes your soul and shreds it . I left the SPCA in 1990 and still to this day I can feel all those emotions flooding my heart. It will take you quite a while to pull yourself out of the funk that takes yo over after experiencing this explore God Bless you and be kind to yourself 🙏🏻 You have witnessed a scene of horrible animal abuse Flora
Brent... this is a tough one to watch. The saddest of all in my opinion. Not just for the conditions these animals were kept in but for the mental illness that lead the owner to this hoarding. I can see the crushing loneliness this person had went through to have the urge to keep all this "companions". My guess is a couple lived there and probably the man run a puppy mill. He passes away and the woman is left with the dogs, the feeling abandonment and the loneliness that made her keep them and get more so she may never be alone or abandoned again. Add a hoarding tendency and this is the result. Another great video Brent, you are the best at this!
I’m surprised you didn’t come across any dead animals. Broke my heart as I have my two babies in bed with me while watching this. My Maltese 8 lbs n 11 years old n my apple head chihuahua 6 years n he is tiny with a pit bull complex. I adore my babies n don’t leave them with anyone. I agree with you. Seems like a case of loneliness, depression, after the death of the spouse. Felt closed to the husband n all those animals, were considered her companions, probably cared but depression , loneliness and probably some type of Emotionally disconnected n probably gave up. Found dead / maybe heart attack or just gave up on life. Very sad.
My wife works in the Veterinary field as a lead Vet Tech for a very large practice. She has tons of sad stories of rescued puppies and kittens that come to her hospital. Very few survive and what short of a life they had was pure misery. Another troubling group of people are back yard breeders. The majority do not take care of their animals and do not go through the right steps medically to provide for their animals. They are only in it to make a buck. Their "pure bread" animals are mostly inbred and will never be right. The popular puppy/dog on our area are French Bull dogs. One breeder has a female that has only ever been pregnant in her short live. Three litters so far. Her last litter had 13 puppies. Frenchies cannot give birth naturally. So every time she has a litter she has to have a C-section. She has had three in three years. Her litters are big but a quarter of them will be still born. The breeder inbreeds the dogs to get special colors like white and spotted. They then sell those puppies anywhere from $2,000 to $4,000. So one litter can earn 20-40K. The female mother will only live for 4-5 years until she is used up and all the puppies they sell will have major, expensive health issues. No one regulates these people. It''s truly heart breaking.
I see the definition of a backyard breeder is much different than when I was young. There were farm families that had one dog that they would breed for a bit of extra money, but I never imagined the kind of money people could make off it now. I am not sure why people would breed an animal that can not give birth naturally.
I am just so completely saddened beyond belief seeing all the birdcages, cages, aquarium and outside kennels! - But overall I’m also concerned about the prior tenants too. 😢 😂😂😂
Those bottles in the bedroom.. look like they are full of pee...This really is the worst hoard and mess you have ever explored..I actually felt relief when you walked out of that horrid place. As a dog owner, this was heart wrenching
Bottles of pee!! That's pathetic, whoever lived there was pathetic and hopefully they died because no good person treats animals that way and no normal person lives like that.
I want those bottles especially if its female pee. I love the smell of fermented female piss especiall as it dries. Ihave a few bottles i saved from my bff as she was dying of cancet. I take a cotton ball and rub just a little on a piece of plastic, let dry and blow a fan on it and the smell of Karen fills my room and i ferl lime she is coming down from heaven to visit me. I feel a connection to her through her urine. Keep in mind that pee is from 2019. Its a great way to celebrate her life. I also have autism so that explains why i like odd smells.
This place sends such mixed signals. The pictures on the walls tells a story about beloved dogs. Family. Lots of family photos and such. And then the rest... I believe something tragic happened here and things took a completely horrifying turn. Maybe like someone wrote, someone passed away and the person left behind lost control. I don´t know much about puppy mills but I´m pretty sure they don´t take their litters to the vet? Maybe the breeder (serious one) passed away leaving their partner alone. And he/she just couldn´t cope.
I think you hit the nail on the head. My mother deteriorated after the loss of her husband and thank goodness she didn't have any animals during that time.
There probably was no one left or this person had dementia and family couldnt cone around because he thought everyone was stealing or out to get him its very common..i bet if he had fa.ily to leave it to he chose not to..
If you find anything out, please pin an update! I know you don't want to share the location, or I'd try and research it myself. By the architecture of the home, it didn't look like it was very old, yet the decay was unreal. Like how could it get that bad if they only left in the last five years? My guess is this was an older person/people and they started out as breeders/rescuers, and it escalated to hoarding. Perhaps someone that worked in animal rescue took in animals and it got out of control and they couldn't handle it. Also, I think they were living in those conditions for a long time even with the house falling apart. You'd be surprised what hoarders will subject themselves to. I do feel someone intervened and took all the animals as I did not notice any animal bones in the cages, so hopefully there were none in there while you were exploring. I hope whoever lived there ended up getting help and getting out of the situation. Very, very sad all around. Ironic how at the beginning you were all excited saying, "I feel this is gonna be a good one!" and turned out to be what it was. Take care of yourself, Brent!
Yeah the lack of any animal remains made me hopeful that these animals were rescued from this situation rather than left behind when the hoarder died/was incapacitated, or when the puppy mill was busted and the owner (hopefully) arrested.
Puppy mill or animal Rescuers , this person was clearly suffering from a mental health problem. It is sad that those around this person didn't get this person help earlier and that so many people have no compassion for someone who suffered so much, dealing with their mental health.
I agree with that, as there are elements of organisational skills, such as the walk in wardrobe. shoe hangers over the doors, towels neatly stacked in a wardrobe etc...I think in the beginning this place was pretty wow!!...then hoarders moved in or they just became that way...awful, and so bad for the poor animals too. The barn is tidier than the house!
@@easalsoeas4565 yes, definitely mental illness of some kind and perhaps physically disabled that they could not keep up. My guess is they did not have family support or purposefully kept them out because of how they were living. I hope they were able to get some kind of help after leaving this home.
@@plushypuppy2024 yes, it’s hard to know what life is like for so many. I know for myself on a daily basis I get overwhelmed trying to keep up my home and it is nothing like this. So I can only imagine. I really hope someone intervened and got them the help they truly needed.
Underneath the mess you can tell the house was once cared for and loved, somebody went through a lot of work to decorate it and hang all those pictures. It was probably a beautiful place for a long time..... sometimes it's a story of the kids grow up and move out an the spouse dies and there's only one person left behind to deal with the place. This person is becoming elderly and they can't take care of a property like that and everything they had going on, probably where the hoarding started and then just turned into a complete mental illness.
It could also be that the grandparent or parent died and the kids decided to make the house a money making spot to breed animals, and since they didn't care about the house they didn't care what happened to it... the bottom line was making money.
It can be amazing how quickly abandonment can destroy a property. Leave a few windows open and boom it will happen in a flash. That's not all that happened here, but still. My grandma was meticulous in cleaning her house when she was healthy, but when alzheimer's set in, it was a year before it was almost unhealthy. Add animals to the mix and the decay accelerates tenfold.
I agree with you, to some people it is automatically a hoarder house and possible puppy mill, but I suspect that they began things as a rescue due to all the different types of animal cages BUT OBVIOUSLY something went horribly wrong along the way, perhaps the loss of a spouse and their grief became so unbearable that they surrounded themselves with animals, the reason I’m thinking this is because of the fact that he found a vet bill for some puppies from 2018 and as someone who bought a puppy who’s 12 pound shi zue momma was “ accidentally “ mounted by a 80 pound king shepherd who was SUPPOSEDLY vet checked, I quickly learned that the owner had bred her little female by locking her in the basement with several different males, the vet informed me that this WAS NOT the first time this had happened and the momma had in-fact had a split litter, she had 5 puppies, 3 were part king shepherd and 2 are yorkie mix which is what I have and they had NEVER seen a vet. DO NOT get me wrong, someone should have intervened BEFORE it got to that point, HOWEVER I don’t think we should jump to conclusions WITHOUT knowing the entire story
@@faithdrake3688 exactly. This is not even on the same level as some places I've seen. I saw some urbexers go through a hoise once where they were climbing for every step over garbage and filth, and the encountered multiple dead pets. Some of these unfortunately probably died after the house was abandoned, but they found at least two cats kept in shoboxes under a bed. It is pointless for us to jump to conclusions about these cases without actually knowing the facts. It doesn't help any person or any pet. There are a lot of mental illnesses that can have tragic outcomes.
So many levels of sadness in this one Brent. The obvious animal neglect is horrific. Then you see soo much history just left behind. Family breakdown or even deaths. It’s shocking to see and very sad. Glad to see you leaving this one
The house was beautiful at one time. I would say a widow lived there. Introverted to his own world and love of animals got out of hand. Hoarding not just things but animals. Sad, I bet this was very emotional for you. Thanks for the explore.
You have always been my favourite explorer, and today, you have gone even further up in my estimations by having the bravery to show this place. I can't help but feel that many animals have suffered at the hands of the owners of this building and can only hope the authorities got there in time to save the poor souls. Thank you for documenting this place, and maybe it will encourage not just people to be kinder to animals but to report when they see such cruelty. Although I suspect this place was remote for a reason Great respect to you for documenting. With love Janice 👵 🇬🇧 xxx
@@AbandonedUrbexCanadaI hate to creep u out but that soggy floor may have not been all animal feces. I have seen the tv show hoarders and some go where ever the urge hits them. Yep. I saw a large portable toilet in the bathroom. It looked oversized; the kind you see on that obese 600 lb. show. Thank you for going upstairs. That was brave of you.
My theory is they appeared to be up in their years. Living in those deteriorating conditions more than likely wreaked havoc on their health, which I'm sure was also deteriorating. Sad find for sure Brent.
Obviously we dont know what happened without any background or context, but based on what we see one could surmise any number of possibilities. Looks to me to have have been abandoned a lot longer than 2018 but that Vet Statement does bear the date stamp so.... I'm guessing a dog, exotic birds & possibly snake breeder who at one time had his/her act together but through age & infirmary (noticed the handicapped rails in one of the bathrooms) was unable to keep it up & attend to things properly. No kids or family, remote location, no Will, died intestate & very possibly on-site, not discovered for some time, animals removed.... Thats without a doubt the saddest video of an abandoned property I think Ive ever seen. Shock to the senses on video so ya, I guess you mustve been pretty shaken by that. Yikes!
My chest became heavy , my heart felt so very saddened, as soon as you walked inside! Not s good place for these animals! I kept bracing myself for the worst…I felt sick to my stomach and cannot imagine how you must’ve felt! Thanks for taking us along. So hard to understand how anyone could live like this. I bet it smelled really bad!
My dog was napping on the couch beside me while I watched this. The anger I felt was palpable, but my dog is also a rescue and it also made me happy to know that I may have been able to save her from a place like that. I hope those animals managed to find happiness but I won't apologize for thinking that if there is a Hell, I hope the person who lives there is burning in it. Thanks for the video Brett.
I'm watching this instead of actually working .... wow, I'm blown away by the amount of decay in that otherwise beautiful home. i wonder if the members of the family have seen this by chance and recognised people or pups in the photos . I'm so invested now I need to know. lol. Thanks for the tour. From New Zealand
Sometimes people's ideas start out as good intentions and then get out of hand. One thing leads to another and then messes pile up like this. Still, it's obvious those animals suffered. This had to be hard to film, thank you for sticking it out and showing us other views of how people (loose term there) live.❤
WOW!!! 😮 Have you ever researched the places to see who lived there or where they went? I wonder if any of the abandoned houses are for sale or the land they're on? Thanks for showing with us. ❤
I am a animal lover in every sense of the word this is totally heart wrenching I can on imagine what these animals went threw thank you for sharing stay safe God bless
10:53 into the video, you confirmed my thoughts. This house hasn't been abandoned that long. I used to work Public Safety in the States, we would see houses like this. We would report it and try to get the mentally ill people some help... and definitely rehome animals if possible. It's really sad... But people will live in these conditions, the biggest reason we would be there is because their lungs couldn't handle it. It's a hoarder sickness... Hoarding junk and animals all at the same time.
This is beyond horrifying and what those poor animals went through. If anyone knows of a place like this I hope you will call the authorites and report them. Thank you for doing this video I know it must have been hard for you.
Try thinking about the human in medical distress. I'm there, living this all alone. NO one helps anymore anymore. I had a hobby farm. Only cats now. But hope is all I have
I watch the series “ Hoarders” and I’ve seen cases like this. They have so many animals to take care of and their mental illnesses make them think they are helping these animals, but they are actually neglecting them. They live in hoard and filth but don’t see it. It’s sad all around.
Hoarding can happen to anyone, I hope it doesn''t happen to anyone watching. My father became a hoarder but we were able to nip in the bud. He had Alzheimer's and was keeping hair from the vac, recycling, broken stuff. Mom took over as power of attorney and I was directed to discard stuff. He never knew the difference even though we were all in the same house. You have to be so detached from reality or incredibly cold to treat animals this way. I look into a dog, cat or bird's face and I see beauty -- I hope I never see any differently. You just never know.
It seems to me that at one time the family may have had a good business breeding dogs. Then like another commenter said something went terribly wrong and someone else took over and ran a puppy mill just for the money. Just my opinion but, I think they were reported and got sent to prison for all of these horrific things and this is what's left. It looks like it was a beautiful home in its day. Thanks for sharing. How sad!
This place looks like it would have been such a nice and open! It makes me sad to think of what went on here of course; and other than crates, cages, pens, and aquariums, I am happy that you didn't find any "remains" !
What a disaster. So so sad. Probably was such a beautiful home at one time. No one should raise puppies or animals to sell. God's creatures here for us to care for and love. I admire you for your courage going into the structures. Be safe, God's blessings to you 😇🙏
This was overwhelming Brent. My mind was going to all kinds of bad places. 2018? That makes it worse. It hasn’t been abandoned for that long, even though it looks it. How could somebody get away with living like this let alone for those poor animals, but even for themselves. You’d think some authorities would have intervened. It seems like they started out with this beautiful home( it was hard to see, but it was a beautiful home under all that filth) Pictures of family, younger days, then older days. That one bathroom had a standing alone toilet for seniors. Maybe it started out right, but became horrific. I can’t imagine letting my mom and/or dad living inside that filth, not being able to care for themselves but all the animals too. This is really unbelievable Brent. If you find out the story of this place, please let us all know! Stay safe
Oh my😢. It's taken me several months to work up the courage to decide if I was going to view this explore. I sincerely thank you for giving us a heads up warning🙏🏻 i was an animal lover from the first time my mom sat with me on her lap in the saddle around 6 months of age. Im now 72+ years old. This was extremely sad circumstances to view. I love human beings also. "All GOD'S creations. May I say you did a superb job of handling this entire explore! Brent, you are First Class at what you do. Please take care of yourself, and keep safe & healthy❤
It hurts my heart seeing fabulous antiques just sitting there. This was an animal hoarder, explains why family didn’t want anything & just abandoned the house. Was too upsetting & disgusting to deal with. I can’t imagine what the noise level in that house was either😵💫
So sad. You can tell by all of the dog food and treat boxes and photos on the wall that at one time those animals were taken care of and loved. So sad to see things appear to have deteriorated very quickly both for the owner, the animals, and the house itself. 😢 I hope the animals were taken to safety and that the owner got the help they needed. Due to the obvious hoarding, hopefully more of those cages were just hoarded after housing animals for years. Hopefully by the end there weren’t nearly as many animals as hoarded cages.
It’s hard to know for sure what the story was. Were they breeders of dogs and birds and it got out of hand? Or were they just hoarders? That was probably a lovely home and property once. Very sad and disturbing explore. Thank you for sharing what I’m sure was difficult for you.
@@AbandonedUrbexCanada I'm wondering if the people living there died suddenly and the animals had to do whatever to survive until someone was made aware of the situation. I have a wonderful girl that came from such a situation. A Himalayan breeder that took very good care of her cats had a fatal heart attack in her sleep. It was estimated that the cats/kittens were left for 10 months to fend for themselves. The ones that were in cages of course didn't survive, the others that were kept separated by walls got out and were interbreeding. The majority of them were dead already when found or had to be put to sleep. My girl was one of the lucky few. The house didn't look as bad as this one but it was a huge litterbox and they had chewed through anything they could. It looks like older people lived here. They were probably overwhelmed with clutter before whatever happened, happened. Such a shame, it looked like it was a beautiful house at one point.
@@mejane7010 I know. Could also be wife or husband was dealing with the other's dementia and had to feed and bathe them. The animals got to be too much and he or she was also in failing health. Someone died and maybe son or daughter got the remaining parent into a nursing home and called authorities for remaining animals. Sad all around. Had to be hard to get animals out of home in that condition.
Wow... thank you for taking the time to film and edit such an experience. Absolutely gut wrenching. It appears that something triggered a mental health issue with whomever took in the countless amount of animals... so much pain.... morbid curiosity here.... wow wow wow.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a sad and deeply disturbing home. So much heartache and obvious mental illness. I feel for all of them, especially the poor animals who must have suffered deeply. I hope you find a place of peace in you after seeing this up close and in person. I'm sure you have suffered yourself from bearing witness to it all.
That place is so sad. Someone should just go in there with a bulldozer spend the day leveling it into an unrecognizable pile and then disposing up at it is nothing but sad memories in that place, especially for the poor animals that were kept there.
I can’t picture humans or animals living in those conditions. It looks like a puppy mill. Would be cool to know the back story. You find the most amazing explores. This was definitely a sad one. Hopefully you took a good shower after being exposed to all that. Can’t wait for your next explore.
Animal hoarders that’s what it looks like .. some people think they do justice to this animals by keeping them in a cage.. this was inhumane. How sad and heart wrenching to see this..😢.. Thx for sharing
The juxtaposition of feces-filled cages and the Lab photo on the wall... I lean toward this being a situation where a loss - perhaps of a loved one - tipped things into extreme hoarder territory combined with extreme neglect of, well, everything - that house is in hideous condition to have been abandoned for only 5 years... I'm guessing the trigger event occurred several years earlier, and everything looks so awful because the decay was permitted to progress while the remaining owner still lived there... but who knows. What a deplorable situation for those poor animals.
Definitely hoarders. So sad to see such a beautiful house & property done this way. I'm gonna assume since we saw no bodies, someone came & rescued all these poor animals 🥺
This is terriblely sad. The amount of suffering these animals went through here is clearly immense. Locked in a cage with no access to poop anywhere but the same place the had to sleep. I assume it's where they ate too. Wow. It's a shame because the house layout it was obviously at one time a very beautiful home. I hope whoever was here got help because this is just develish to keep animals like that... Like they are just collectables and don't have a soul. Like they don't crave or deserve a loving humane place to live... I wouldn't be surprised if there was a corpse or two somewhere you missed. This is heartbreaking.
Wow so sad !, I wonder if they were animal hoarders ? Or they had a pet store... but there is tons of tanks it's a shame they could be cleaned up and used. And the bird cages !! Great explore as usual !! 👌 ty Brent !
Dogs are my favorite pets to have. My best friend owns 2 and I babysitt them quite a lot and I love them very much. Seeing this house was shocking and I hope those animals are in a better environment with people who loves them.
Such a sad house, it looks like it would have been beautiful when it was new. I have an old uncle that is an alcoholic bachelor. He was married briefly in his younger days. He and his wife split up some time in the 1970s when I was small, and I am not exaggerating when I say that he has not dusted his house since then. He is not a hoarder, he takes out his trash, cleans his dishes, occasionally washes clothes. But his house is literally covered in dirty cobwebs exactly like in this video. They are huge, like haunted house size cobwebs. He is mean as hell and rejects all offers of assistance. I can only imagine that this situation was similar, that the person did not clean in decades. They probably lost their significant other and the hoarding was triggered by the death. You are fortunate you did not find any dead pets in there!
Hi, Brent- Animal hoarders are the worst kind. I have been closely associated with 2, and the absolute helplessness you feel makes you sick to your stomach. They both were hoarders of things, as well, and curiously, spent a great deal of money on vet care, and good food, just kept their animals in hideous conditions, like this house, and seemed to find nothing wrong with it. I tried really hard, thinking if I got some of the animals out, she wouldn't replace them, let me tell you- they are called hoarders for a reason. This lady kept floors full of animals. and had a dark silent basement stuffed full of cages- it drove me crazy, and I always asked her why she had animals just to stuff them in the basement, at least give them a radio. She was raided by the Humane Society twice, who removed hundreds of animals from her house. I finally had to stop being friends with both of them. It was just too hard. This was a hard one, and I hope they got to any animals, because when you got to the small animal room, I just kept thinking there was no way they would have any chance at all, hamsters, gerbils, reptiles- they couldn't make noise, no heat, no food, made me very sad. Thanks for the explore- it would have been a nice house, once-SDK
Omg I've never before seen anything like this 😳 very sad,I'm sure this used to be a very amazing family home and all those pics of the people who lived in that house this was a beautiful and large property,Thank you for another great adventure with you my favorite explorer it was little horrible and I should sleep now and I hope I can 😮😁 Big greetings and kiss for you from Serbia 🇷🇸❤ Always be careful 💪🤞🇨🇦❤

As soon as I saw this house and heard you say kennels I knew where you were. I watched something on TV about this place and the horrors that went on here but for the life of me I can't remember the details. Hopefully someone will be able to find it for back story on this property.
As a dog mom of 5 dogs, 3 are backyard breeder rescues, this house makes me sick to my stomach. These people have no idea and probably don’t care about the emotional damage they do to these poor animals.
Do you ever update with more of the story of what the heck happened to these abandoned homes?? Could/would you ever give us the street address to any of these places? BTW, that place was probably toxic with black mold & very unhealthy for you to be in there breathing that code red air. Have you ever been sick after visiting one of those toxic places?? If you would give out the address we could do some investigative digging and find out what happened.
Animals were being hoarded….really sad because the person lived there too. Only someone with mental illness would live like that and keep their pets that way 😭 I hope the animals are rehomed ❤
Indeed, a house that holds many secrets. Our imagination can conjure up guesses to answers for what our eyes see, but if those walls could only talk....
Some of those finch cages are worth a lot of money. Dang!! I breed Canaries and Gouldian finches here in Australia and was in awe by some of the beautiful holding cages for finches. Beautiful to watch so Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺. My mum’s from beautiful BC Canada 🇨🇦.
I bet in 2018, due to the vet bill/visit, they were reported for inhumane treatment of animals and authorities rescued the animals and hopefully charged them for animal neglect. So sad!
right at the entrance, a metal profile is visible on the corner, which allows us to establish that the last good repair here was no later than the beginning of the millennium, it was at that time that such technology stepped widely into the people, which means that at about that time they still had motivation and funds for repairs ... apparently in the first years of desolation during the warm period, the decaying excrement of animals attracted such a number of insects that it was just expanse for spiders ... a strange house of keepers of dogs and birds and some other animals ...
theres black mold everywhere! its dangerous to breathe in there!....I hope you washed everything before going into your house....you can spread the spores
We do not have the right to judge as we do not know how this situation came about. Of course it's sad to see what it was like there, but I think it used to be a beautiful home with happy people and animals. But at some point it got out of hand and they couldn't control the situation anymore. I hope the animals are doing well now and the people could also be helped.
I hope they didn't move their stuff out because they went to jail. I hope they rot there. Yes, I know there's a lot I don't know about this situation, but, I recognize dried fecal matter and urine in those cages. These people took a beautiful piece of property and turned it into hell.
I have a ton of comments but don't know where to start. I felt really bad for the simple fact of how the animals had to live and in such poor condition, almost made me cry. I wanna know about what happened to the owners of the place like did they pass away or what.
I really don't know what to say after watching this.... It's sad no matter how I look at it. Sometimes the best intentions get buried by reality and the person figures they have stuff under control. This looks like a case of hoarding to the extreme that, unfortunately involved numerous animals. I would be very interested to hear the back story on this.
Its amazing with house prices the way they are and homelessness, how people can just walk out and leave a home. I guess its old age you just get to the point where it all becomes too much to handle.
I get the feeling these people were turned in by someone and were investigated not ending well...removing ALL animals and probably charged many fines & possibly even time in jail. This feels terrible in my heart so deep I literally feel sick with the misery and heartless conditions these animals must have endured. Makes me so sad and very angry. They may have tried to run and were stopped having everything condemned and lost it ALL...
I watched this video again after seeing it for the first time several months ago. I was doing some research on abandoned places. It is absolutely heartbreaking. So many cages, so many stories. My heart breaks for the birds, dogs and other animals who may have been there. Thank you, Brent for exploring this. This must've been really difficult for you to process.
from another video of this house , there was info that proved my dog was bred here. i don’t want to give that info away out for respect. but i just wanted to assure that the puppies that did make it out of here are very much loved and we all keep in touch through social media ❤
Your dog came from there? Did your dog tell you that? It must be an old dog now...that place seems it was abandoned a long time ago.
2018 or after possibly. Which doesn't seem right.@@markcarson3215
I totally agree I think they should be put in cages
I sincerely hope whoever was living in that house received the mental health help they clearly needed.
I'm guessing they died before they could.
But this person was an animal hoarder and for sure a puppy mill breeder I hope that the universe has delivered the appropriate misery to the individuals who did this…
R.I.P. to all the animals that died on that property. And it would’ve been hundreds 😭😭😭
Hello Katie how are you doing today
Seriously?!!!.... You spotted the antiques.... are you kerching minded?!!!
Totally 💯
Lol like what?
Sounds like the basis for a very sad movie. Call it The Burdened Heart
Kudos.
Unthinkable that people lived like this and poor innocent animals!! Totally disgusting conditions!! Thanks for enduring this nightmare!!
If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say this is an extreme hoarder situation. Probably triggered by the death of a partner. Hoarding is never good but when it includes animals it is especially tragic. I hope they are all in loving homes.
100% Never seen anything like it
That's no excuse!
@@-Its420Somewhere
I get your anger but this is obviously mental illness.
I've seen Amish in our rural area do the puppy mill thing with small breeds. Sad.
Thanks for sharing this, so sad there is people out there like that
Special place in HELL for people who mistreat animals.
I see the definition of a backyard breeder is much different than when I was young. There were farm families that had one dog that they would breed for a bit of extra money, but I never imagined the kind of money people could make off it now. I am not sure why people would breed an animal that can not give birth naturally.
Yeah I worked in animal rescue too, big facts. Respect to Mrs. Hardman
I’m in complete shock of all that you’ve videoed! Absolutely mind-boggled and unable to comprehend it all. WOW just WOW!!! 😢😢😢
I have 2 dogs and had dogs all my life. Hard to unsee this place
I think it is pee, did you see the toilet it looked full of crap.
@@seangriffon6502 U NASTY!
I have to agree with this
If only walls could talk .
Agreed
Hello Becky how are you doing today
This place is very heartbreaking Brent. I pray the animals are safe now.
So many levels of sadness in this one Brent. The obvious animal neglect is horrific. Then you see soo much history just left behind. Family breakdown or even deaths. It’s shocking to see and very sad. Glad to see you leaving this one
Hello Salza how are you doing today
I hate to see anything or anyone hurting. That house is filed with despair and pain. RIP precious and innocent souls. 🌈 🐾
Although I suspect this place was remote for a reason
Great respect to you for documenting.

I always try to find beauty in these houses you show…but this house is devastating. Such quiet horror it held. I can’t imagine. 🥺
Its disgusting the abusive conditions humans put animals through. Great video!
Hello Jeannie how are you doing today
@jeannie - I'm assuming you're vegan?
But hope is all I have
*Posting for updates.
I watch the series “ Hoarders” and I’ve seen cases like this. They have so many animals to take care of and their mental illnesses make them think they are helping these animals, but they are actually neglecting them. They live in hoard and filth but don’t see it. It’s sad all around.
I'm so glad you didn't find any remains left in the bird cages, or other parts of the house.
I was waiting for it… my eyes even played tricks a few times thinking I’d seen something in one of the cages!
This place needs to be burned to ashes, nothing needs to remain of this nasty and shameful building.
How sad!
Hello Ande how are you doing today
So much cruelty and suffering. So very sad and it went on for years by the looks of that place.
This place looks like it would have been such a nice and open! It makes me sad to think of what went on here of course; and other than crates, cages, pens, and aquariums, I am happy that you didn't find any "remains" !
After reading the comments, I dont think I'll be able to watch the video. I hope you're doing ok after seeing such a horrible place. ❤
Video is not for everyone, no worries at all 👍🏻
What a disaster.

SO. INCREDIBLY. VERY. VERY. SAD. !!!!! This. Makes. ME. CRY. !!!!!
It hurts my heart seeing fabulous antiques just sitting there. This was an animal hoarder, explains why family didn’t want anything & just abandoned the house. Was too upsetting & disgusting to deal with. I can’t imagine what the noise level in that house was either😵💫
This is the nastiest, saddest house I've ever seen. I feel like I need a shower just from watching it...after I hug my dogs and cats.
Hello Melissa how are you doing today
It's a good bet they were taken away. Sad to say, but normally you find the remains. We didn't see that here.
It’s hard to know for sure what the story was. Were they breeders of dogs and birds and it got out of hand? Or were they just hoarders? That was probably a lovely home and property once. Very sad and disturbing explore. Thank you for sharing what I’m sure was difficult for you.
Very hard to work out what happened here, love to know more.
Bottles of piss😢
Clearly the dogs were using the house as a giant cage. Paw marks all over the walls and doors
Had to be hard to get animals out of home in that condition.
Wow... thank you for taking the time to film and edit such an experience. Absolutely gut wrenching. It appears that something triggered a mental health issue with whomever took in the countless amount of animals... so much pain.... morbid curiosity here.... wow wow wow.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can only imagine what a horrible life the animals endured 😢.
What a sad and deeply disturbing home. So much heartache and obvious mental illness. I feel for all of them, especially the poor animals who must have suffered deeply. I hope you find a place of peace in you after seeing this up close and in person. I'm sure you have suffered yourself from bearing witness to it all.
Exactly! Wonder how you spend time there in such a horrible environment 😮,take care bcoz it’s that much unhygienic and dangerous
That place is so sad. Someone should just go in there with a bulldozer spend the day leveling it into an unrecognizable pile and then disposing up at it is nothing but sad memories in that place, especially for the poor animals that were kept there.
Agreed this is what I said
Cleanse it with fire!
I can’t picture humans or animals living in those conditions. It looks like a puppy mill. Would be cool to know the back story. You find the most amazing explores. This was definitely a sad one. Hopefully you took a good shower after being exposed to all that. Can’t wait for your next explore.
MAYBE YOU COULD DO MORE RESEARCH AND A BACKGROUND STORY TO YOUR EXSPLORING , THAT HOME 🏡 WOULD OF BEEN HELL FOR ALL THEM POOR ANIMALS
I DO RESEARCH, THERE IS NOT MUCH INFO ON THIS PLACE
I adore my husky and other pups soooo much! They everything to me! God bless all those animals.
They are like people. They deserve everything!!!! It saddens me to see that .
It was more than a mill. It looks like a hoarders house. The path through the trash is a good sign It was. So said
Such a sad house, it looks like it would have been beautiful when it was new.
This is the most deplorable place Ive ever seen. I do hope the animals were taken to a better place. This was just so sad to see.
Sad to see such a beautiful home disrespected by hoarding. Hopefully someone saved the animals from abuse.
Thank you for handling this with compassion and integrity. This is a tragic situation.
Omg I've never before seen anything like this 😳 very sad,I'm sure this used to be a very amazing family home and all those pics of the people who lived in that house this was a beautiful and large property,Thank you for another great adventure with you my favorite explorer it was little horrible and I should sleep now and I hope I can 😮😁 Big greetings and kiss for you from Serbia 🇷🇸❤ Always be careful 💪🤞🇨🇦❤
yes .there r more of theses evan in pa. there was a really really big one got shut down . they were caught . lot of interbreed and bad thing happen when they do that. all people were sent to jail.
@@teddybear4020 glad to hear that they were prosecuted!
Brutal. I hope those animals were rescued. What a home of mystery for everyone involved.
Do you have to pay continuous land tax or rates for land ?
In Australia 🇦🇺 if you haven't paid your taxes they would be selling off the property
Animals were being hoarded….really sad because the person lived there too. Only someone with mental illness would live like that and keep their pets that way 😭 I hope the animals are rehomed ❤
Excellent job, my friend. I've been following your explorations for a long time now and must say there are no better explorers than you.
So sad!
Absolutely gut wrenching.
right at the entrance, a metal profile is visible on the corner, which allows us to establish that the last good repair here was no later than the beginning of the millennium, it was at that time that such technology stepped widely into the people, which means that at about that time they still had motivation and funds for repairs ...
apparently in the first years of desolation during the warm period, the decaying excrement of animals attracted such a number of insects that it was just expanse for spiders ...
a strange house of keepers of dogs and birds and some other animals ...
theres black mold everywhere! its dangerous to breathe in there!....I hope you washed everything before going into your house....you can spread the spores
Agree, lots of happy dog photos, alongside what looks like family photos on the walls in the bedrooms.
You will need a long hot shower after this. This is unbelievable.
Thank you Brent for doing this for us.
I hope they didn't move their stuff out because they went to jail. I hope they rot there. Yes, I know there's a lot I don't know about this situation, but, I recognize dried fecal matter and urine in those cages.
These people took a beautiful piece of property and turned it into hell.
she died sherlock. alone and covered in dog poop. it was a beautiful death
I’d say they may be in a mental health facility..
This is the only video of exploring that made me cry. Thanks for sharing it us.
is there a way to find out more info on the owners of this location?
I have a ton of comments but don't know where to start. I felt really bad for the simple fact of how the animals had to live and in such poor condition, almost made me cry. I wanna know about what happened to the owners of the place like did they pass away or what.
The size of those spider webs ,makes me think they probably kept exotic spiders too,❤🤔
Makes you wonder how many dogs birds etc are buried round the grounds of the house. Awful. Thanks tracey in the uk
It's crazy how it's always a dream home that becomes destroyed like this
Thanks doing these videos Brent. You do an excellent job! My family and I love your videos. Keep them up!!
I would really like to hear some history behind this place. You should be able to access it from the county seat, neighbors etc...
That house SCREAMS mental illness😢
