The mansion was featured in Sean "Diddy" Combs' 2007 music video for "Last Night". It has been vacant for about a decade and is now owned by John Powers Middleton, the son of Philadelphia Phillies owner John S. Middleton. The property has been taken over by squatters and taggers, and neighbors have called it an eyesore. The city of Los Angeles has issued an abatement order to Middleton, but he has ignored it. The city has secured the property with fencing, but the squatters have breached it.

Same thing I was thinking. It’s not conventional home for a family. A single person would want to be in a more metropolitan setting such as a penthouse. This home is more of a Hollywood rags to riches type setting that isn’t based in reality. Anyone moving into would probably only used 20% of the space as that is probably more than enough. I'm curious how a house like this becomes abandoned, so she couldn't find new tenants, then what? even selling it for way under market value is better than getting literally nothing.
In this case it might not have been worth her trouble to finish the remodel and find a buyer. In most cases selling a home of that size and price is very hard. Thanks for watching!
