- Described as the ‘Queen of Hip-Hop and RNB,’ Mary J. Blige is one of the most notable singers of the ‘90s, and of the present time, and today we venture inside the heart of California to explore her very own abandoned mansion. Built-in 2003, this marvelous estate boasts a 55-foot backyard pool, with a 75-foot tall waterfall spanning down the whole backyard,, not including the 10,000 square feet of living space the mansion holds inside. Mary Blige rented the property for a whopping price of $30,000 a month for various years and filmed various music videos inside such as ‘Last Night,’ featuring Diddy and Keyshia Cole. However after problems between Mary and her at the time husband Kendu Isaacs, the property was vacated, with no luck finding new tenants. However, this luxurious haven took a dramatic turn in recent years, becoming the backdrop for a different kind of film production - adult films. As we explored the property, we came across a stunning discovery; a pristine DeLorean hidden in a small secluded garage in the neighboring woods. Once a star in those films, this iconic car now gathers dust but remains untouched by vandals. Now, the home and property sits abandoned and has started to fall apart more and more by the day. I bought my DeLorean in 1996 with only 19,000 miles on it. I drove it for many years, but now it lives the quiet life on display in my living room to this day.
As a German, I always ask myself why such buildings are not sold - or auctioned. The building certainly still had some value after it was abandoned. Now it is a ruin. If you simply don need the money, you can do something good with it and donate the proceeds to a childrens hospice.

@@RileyThePerson Brother, I understand your culture, and in principle everyone can do what they want within their own four walls (which I think is really cool... in contrast to Germany where politicians always come up with something to get their hands on your money, even as a homeowner 😂)... What I don't understand is that this villa once had value at a time when it was abandoned. If it was worth 10 million at the time, and I can only find buyers for 5 million years later, that's a few good purchases at Walmart, Cosco, and the 1 Dollar Tree 😂 and a few nice cars. What I don't understand is that someone doesn't care about this money. 🤙🏼✌🏼

I'm curious how a house like this becomes abandoned, so she couldn't find new tenants, then what? even selling it for way under market value is better than getting literally nothing.
In this case it might not have been worth her trouble to finish the remodel and find a buyer. In most cases selling a home of that size and price is very hard. Thanks for watching!

I'm thinking the 'Silent Hills' boys live in the very area they're exploring. And have permission from the obviously ritzy subdivision's security to be on that property. Vandals are opportunists and only the most determined (and crafty) ones would be able to operate there, assuming they were willing to accept the increased risk of apprehension. Thus, little apparent damage, other than tagging, has been done to this place.
As if all of the previous vandals never thought to look in the garage.
I'm drawn to these types of videos but I can't watch them because it's so sad to watch such beautiful homes go to waste.
Bilge & her ex were renting this place. They were named in a lawsuit from the landlord, $58K in damages with missing assets & forfeited a $51K deposit. And were set to pay an additional $27K that didn’t happen the landlord said.

The DeLorean is QUITE A FIND!!!! And, of course, you have the Sub Humans who have to WREAK HAVOC on the interior!!!! The view is INCREDIBLE!!!!
The DeLorean really is an incredible find! It's unfortunate that some people feel the need to vandalize such unique places. But you're right, the view is absolutely stunning and adds to the mansion's allure.

Not uncommon for a car to still have air in the tires after sitting many years inside tires aren’t in direct sunlight so they won’t age as bad and crack and let the air leak out

This house would be exhausting to live in and maintain. I did love the fireplace in the kitchen.

@@Alan_GA How do you call in the family for dinner? Call all of their phones? PA system? A bell tone? And collecting the laundry - all those staircases? Windex by the ton too. You need a staff to scrub all those toilets and water the rooftop plants. And staff can't always be trusted. Give me a cozy little house with enough room for good sized furniture in all three bedrooms. Done!
The pool is very strange, half of it covered by a bridge and a cage-like concrete structure blocking the view and feeling like a prison.
The house is certainly luxurious, but it is far from being a castle with ghosts and history.

That's not the original stereo or shifter knob in that DeLorean. Someone's yanked out the original Crown stereo cassette player. They've also removed the cargo net behind the seats. You can also see the 'DeLorean Houston' branded replacement floor mats curled up behind the passenger seat.

Silent Hills Explorations : DMC company was formed in 1975 and their first prototype DMC DeLorean was shown in 1976. Until 1981 no DeLorean was manufactured and in 1982 they assembled only 1 DeLorean preproduction car. The problem is that DeLorean was designed by the same italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro upon Hyundai Pony Coupe in 1970 which was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro 7 years earlier. It was first presented as a production vehicle in 1974 but the problem was that Hyundai at that time didn't have a proper coupe sports car motor to put in for the masses.
So in reality the DMC DeLorean is based design wise on Hyundai Pony Coupe....and todays Hyundai Ioniq 5 people say that it looks like a DeLorean slighlty (including me because DeLorean is well known around the world) but in reality the Ioniq 5 is Hyundais own design.

Yeah just looks like drywall boxes to me with winding stairs out of a nightmare; I don't see any beautiful architecture on the inside! These modern homes are not built like the old, beautiful, wooden homes. The value is probably only on the land not the 'home' itself.

Outside and the views are fantastic. The house inside is very disturbing, very very disturbing, seeing this home on video just gives me a realy bad feeling and its cold, unwelcoming, very institutional or industrial feel. Way to many steps and floors making the home very choppy . This is more of a hotel than a home with all that metal wire railing for the miles of steps. More like a multi family home.
The view is nice, however you cannot watch the sunrise and the sunset.
