acting with your whole body is actually a huge help! i do some voice acting (nothing as big or professional, just for an indie game my friends make, but it's still a voice acting and i'm doing my best), and i actually drop on my knees when the character does, and flail my arms, and throw my fists, etc etc. i feel the words behind it much better that way, and they sound more natural.
it is *wild* how fast he can switch from "Neil" to "Astarion". man can start a sentence as one person, end as someone else, and leave you completely baffled as to when and how it happened.
Most entertaining character in the game, thanks to his voice acting and the facial animations/mocap. That clip where you volunteer him for the clown show and he promises to kill you later, the facial animation is what sells it. Or when you encounter the hunter in the swamp.
