I honestly loved watching this, even the most awkward and uncomfortable parts because it's so rare for RUclipsrs to willingly be this honest and upfront. I appreciate Yousef for agreeing to do this and Lilly for setting it up. We need more transparency in this world not less and this is a good start. I hope it encourages other creators to follow a similar path and I hope both Lilly and Yousef are able to repair what was previously broken in their friendship because I can see them having a positive influence on not only each others lives but their audiences as well

as much as i hated some of Yousf's actions in the past, he is one of the few RUclipsrs that's actually try to make his contact better and he always respect his audience especially when he stopped doing pranks. We are all humans, we make mistakes and we learn. Clearly Yousf is still learning so i think it's okey for people to change their mind about somethings. Lilly i just wanna say that you need to address your issue with people at the same time when a wrong action happen or later in private.
This was intense! I feel like they definitely addressed some topics that needed to be brought up. I was annoyed how yousef kept contradicting himself. I feel like he does need to make up his mind when it comes to his goals and things like click bait but I also thought Lilly didn't give him break. Like he's trying to figure things out and trying to explain himself and she was just not letting him catch a break at times. I feel like she forgot sometimes he has bipolar and he's working on that so no he isn't going to have a consistent attitude. Everyone has flaws, no one can be the perfect youtuber. I'm a counsellor who specializes in supporting family and friends of people who struggle with mental health. In my opinion, this video can be boiled down to the fact that Lily was hurt by Yusef's actions which is so common in relationships with people who struggle with extreme emotional states. Lily is human and therefore won't be positive all the time and like most people, don't always communicate compassionately, nor effectively when they are hurt. Sometimes it comes out as anger and that's not always helpful. Unfortunately this is what Lily did in this video. I know her as a beautiful soul however who is constantly growing and in fact, I have recommended her story and content to my clients as a source of inspiration. I know she will take something away from this experience, whatever it may be. In any case, I see two people struggling in a relationship complicated by mental health and I have so much compassion for them both. Xoxo

I agree. I don’t think she was being hateful towards him, but you could tell she was hurt and dealing with her own ego. I am still not clear on why she decided to do this on camera as opposed to in private. Maybe it’s because on some level she wanted to call Yousef out in front of her unicorns because she thought they would have her back no matter what. Now she sees that we can see through all of the bs and he was not the only one at fault here.

There's a difference between having an honest discussion with your friend and being condescending, arrogant and rude. So even though you both consented with no issues afterwards, it's still not nice putting someone in that situation, especially if they're willing to open up.
Listen Lilly, I have been a subscriber for close to three years now. You have always made me laugh and smile, when things were really hard. Because life gets tough. But the Lilly I see in this video is not the same one I got to know and love three years ago. Yes, you have changed, we all do, but I wonder if it is for the better. You showed a side that I didn't even know existed - condescending, rude, arrogant, and just straight up mean. You've been my role model for a while now and being Indian myself, I've always felt this personal connection with you, as I'm sure many other viewers have as well. You have an energy and confidence that makes you very appealing to watch and relate to, but the way you talked down to Yousef and acted like you were better than him when you said yourself that you've gone through depression, rough patches, etc, was sickening. There were too many moments in this video where I took a double take and asked aloud, "Lilly? Is that you?" And I don't believe you are truly this person, not a bit. I want to think you are still the funny, quirky and sweet girl who just wanted to make someone smile. But, and maybe it's the success, Hollywood, the fans, or a bigger ego, but you're straying more and more away from that girl we all knew and becoming a person that I, along with others, definitely don't want to watch. Please be mindful of what you say, and watch your personality. Whether it's how you are in reality or not, it's not fun to watch you act this way. I love you Lilly, but please figure out who you want to be.
I have to say that when Lilly was blaming Yousef of inconsistency, she was inconsistent too. Like when she said don't think i was actually mad cause of the prank you did on me because i wasn't and then proceeded to explain to him the reason she was upset with him was because of the prank. Second inconsistency, when Lilly was speaking and making a point and when Yousef tried to respond she cut him off but when Yousef was doing the same thing she cut him off. I know Lilly is a nice person but i think she came off kinda rude in this live stream.

You truthfully stay humble through it all and do it with such intelligence - speaking from a business stand point. No one has to understand your motives or why you do what you do because at the end of the day your life is yours to live not someone else's. This is why I will forever support you and stay subscribed to your channels. Lilly, I wish you held back with some of the condescending comments you said towards Yousef. He's going through a lot mentally - & I know you do as well. I thought you would be more understanding. How a real friend should be. I agree with a lot of the comments here stating that it was as if you were projecting your anger or whatever you had in your heart towards him. Be a Bawse? More like -- Be a Leader. You HAVE to understand that the inconsistency you see in him is just the personality of someone with bipolar disorder. They have the biggest hearts and will give anything and everything for you, but not all the time. He won't be consistent. Support him but don't expect any of his multiple life alterations to ever change him completely. They're not really him, it's just part of that disorder.

Every couple of months they're going to be a new, better, changed person and I always thought it was just my father who was like that but after seeing Yousef, their personality is just like that. Obviously that doesn't mean they can't be successful, or that you can't love them, but you can't ever seriously rely on them, ESPECIALLY if you're a child and they're supposed to be providing your basic needs lol.

This was great. I will say this, Yousef isn't my favourite person in the world, but hey I might have just gained (although it might not be much) some respect for him! I've watched Lilly since before she started vlogging. Today however, I learned some new things about Lilly! 4 main things really. 1: When she gets uncomfortable, she makes a lot (and I mean a lot) of jokes. 2: I might be wrong, but I think she uses being loud and over the top as a defense mechanism, when talking about subjects that she herself wasn't prepared for. 3: SHE.IS.HELLA.STUBBORN (I think she has a really hard time admitting she's wrong) but I kind of knew this already XD 4: She says "mmhm" a lot!! Wtf...hes suffering from bipolar depression. Of course he won't be able to stick by his word. It comes with periods of severe highs and lows. It makes me so upset to see mental health not even considered, or taken lightly especially by superwoman who if i can remember correctly has her degree in psychology. This was uncomfortable to watch. Krishma Basically, she set out to embarrass him, to get him back for whatever she felt he did wrong to her in the past, for views/money.. He is bipolar and a lot of things she mentioned that bothered her about him, could have easily been caused by the disorder. She isn't his "friend". I never knew this video even existed until now (don't now how I missed this one) and I just cannot believe she treated him so poorly. The animosity is very real and I can feel her anger through the screen, as I can feel his being embarrassed and genuinely hurt by how she was speaking to him. Very sad indeed. It has changed my entire view of her.
Oh u think she should speak about us illness. Doing this can make other person feel like he is not normal. And talking about these issues in a comedy channel changes it to sad environment. If a person truly cares for a person suffering from depression then that person try her best to get of all sadness away from life of the person she cares for. As someone who 100% has supported both, I'm disappointed in the way lilly handled this situation. It makes sense to me how the journey is both for him and for his business, and for the charity, and to spread love . Just because someone makes content different than yours doesn't make yours better. You also didn't respond to understand , you responded to get the final word. Lilly also needs to understand the reason her vlogs don't do well are because they are boring. He is in the wrong for all the ways he has dealt with situations in the past, but at least hes owning up to it. as much as i hated some of Yousf's actions in the past, he is one of the few RUclipsrs that's actually try to make his contact better and he always respect his audience especially when he stopped doing pranks. Lilly i just wanna say that you need to address your issue with people at the same time when a wrong action happen or later in private.
This was intense! I feel like they definitely addressed some topics that needed to be brought up. I was annoyed how yousef kept contradicting himself. I feel like he does need to make up his mind when it comes to his goals and things like click bait but I also thought Lilly didn't give him break. Like he's trying to figure things out and trying to explain himself and she was just not letting him catch a break at times. I feel like she forgot sometimes he has bipolar and he's working on that so no he isn't going to have a consistent attitude. Everyone has flaws, no one can be the perfect youtuber. I'm a counsellor who specializes in supporting family and friends of people who struggle with mental health. In my opinion, this video can be boiled down to the fact that Lily was hurt by Yusef's actions which is so common in relationships with people who struggle with extreme emotional states. Lily is human and therefore won't be positive all the time and like most people, don't always communicate compassionately, nor effectively when they are hurt. Sometimes it comes out as anger and that's not always helpful. Unfortunately this is what Lily did in this video. I know her as a beautiful soul however who is constantly growing and in fact, I have recommended her story and content to my clients as a source of inspiration. I know she will take something away from this experience, whatever it may be. In any case, I see two people struggling in a relationship complicated by mental health and I have so much compassion for them both. Xoxo

I agree. I don’t think she was being hateful towards him, but you could tell she was hurt and dealing with her own ego. I am still not clear on why she decided to do this on camera as opposed to in private. There's a difference between having an honest discussion with your friend and being condescending, arrogant and rude. So even though you both consented with no issues afterwards, it's still not nice putting someone in that situation, especially if they're willing to open up.

Listen Lilly, I have been a subscriber for close to three years now. You have always made me laugh and smile, when things were really hard. Because life gets tough. But the Lilly I see in this video is not the same one I got to know and love three years ago. Yes, you have changed, we all do, but I wonder if it is for the better. You showed a side that I didn't even know existed - condescending, rude, arrogant, and just straight up mean.
You've been my role model for a while now and being Indian myself, I've always felt this personal connection with you, as I'm sure many other viewers have as well. You have an energy and confidence that makes you very appealing to watch and relate to, but the way you talked down to Yousef and acted like you were better than him when you said yourself that you've gone through depression, rough patches, etc, was sickening.
There were too many moments in this video where I took a double take and asked aloud, "Lilly? Is that you?" And I don't believe you are truly this person, not a bit. I want to think you are still the funny, quirky and sweet girl who just wanted to make someone smile. But, and maybe it's the success, Hollywood, the fans, or a bigger ego, but you're straying more and more away from that girl we all knew and becoming a person that I, along with others, definitely don't want to watch.
Please be mindful of what you say, and watch your personality. Whether it's how you are in reality or not, it's not fun to watch you act this way.

I have to say that when Lilly was blaming Yousef of inconsistency, she was inconsistent too. Like when she said don't think i was actually mad cause of the prank you did on me because i wasn't and then proceeded to explain to him the reason she was upset with him was because of the prank. Second inconsistency, when Lilly was speaking and making a point and when Yousef tried to respond she cut him off but when Yousef was doing the same thing she cut him off. I know Lilly is a nice person but i think she came off kinda rude in this live stream.

They have the biggest hearts and will give anything and everything for you, but not all the time. He won't be consistent. IISuperwomanII thank you. My father has bipolar disorder and I'm all too familiar with that specific character trait. Every couple of months they're going to be a new, better, changed person and I always thought it was just my father who was like that but after seeing Yousef, their personality is just like that. Obviously that doesn't mean they can't be successful, or that you can't love them, but you can't ever seriously rely on them, ESPECIALLY if you're a child and they're supposed to be providing your basic needs lol.

I've watched Lilly since before she started vlogging. Today however, I learned some new things about Lilly! 4 main things really.
1: When she gets uncomfortable, she makes a lot (and I mean a lot) of jokes.
2: I might be wrong, but I think she uses being loud and over the top as a defense mechanism, when talking about subjects that she herself wasn't prepared for.
3: SHE.IS.HELLA.STUBBORN (I think she has a really hard time admitting she's wrong) but I kind of knew this already XD
4: She says "mmhm" a lot!!

I get yea she may not have feelings for him and I get that you wanted to make this interview as honest as possible, but I don't believe that you she was being 100% honest. If she is she is but personally I don't know I just didn't feel like it was. I did feel that yousef was being 100% honest and I loved it.
I agree.... It is actually simple to see... an honest person is really honest when they see through all the flaws in themselves and in the other person ... and accept them and still move forward...
I felt lilly feels as a perfectionist.... in her own convoluted way .... she can say she is not perfect... yet at the same time feels that she is being honest in acknowledging it so ... well, true honesty is not just jumping back to ackowledging and trying to fix this ASAP... some people take their time in accepting their feelings... and take their own freaking time... and in doing so, they are OK making mistakes and being inconsistent...

Lowkey I thinks so too but I think lilly tries to push her feelings away maybe because she doesn't think it might workout or maybe she feels yousef isn't the guy he display on youtube in other words maybe he's nice loyal and truthful as a friend but if they were together some of these character will crumble in the long run.(about a year)

Wtf...hes suffering from bipolar depression. Of course he won't be able to stick by his word. It comes with periods of severe highs and lows. It makes me so upset to see mental health not even considered, or taken lightly especially by superwoman who if i can remember correctly has her degree in psychology. This was uncomfortable to watch. Being raw and cutting the BS doesn't mean that your entire intention during the interview should be to find loopholes and contradictions and bring people down. I think Yousef meant that winning peoples hearts and doing this project for himself goes hand in hand. His true fans want to see him happy and he wants to be a role model to show them that they too can fight hard in their lives and overcome obstacles. By producing positive content he feels he is not letting them down. Idk utterly disappointed while watching this.
Krishma Basically, she set out to embarrass him, to get him back for whatever she felt he did wrong to her in the past, for views/money.. He is bipolar and a lot of things she mentioned that bothered her about him, could have easily been caused by the disorder. She isn't his "friend". I never knew this video even existed until now (don't now how I missed this one) and I just cannot believe she treated him so poorly. The animosity is very real and I can feel her anger through the screen, as I can feel his being embarrassed and genuinely hurt by how she was speaking to him. Very sad indeed. It has changed my entire view of her.
Oh u think she should speak about us illness. Doing this can make other person feel like he is not normal. And talking about these issues in a comedy channel changes it to sad environment. If a person truly cares for a person suffering from depression then that person try her best to get of all sadness away from life of the person she cares for.

As someone who 100% has supported both, I'm disappointed in the way lilly handled this situation. It makes sense to me how the journey is both for him and for his business, and for the charity, and to spread love . Just because someone makes content different than yours doesn't make yours better. You also didn't respond to understand , you responded to get the final word. Lilly also needs to understand the reason her vlogs don't do well are because they are boring. He is in the wrong for all the ways he has dealt with situations in the past, but at least hes owning up to it. Plus why is she acting like shes so desirable and hes obsessed with her when hes just acting normal?
