i just wanted to say that this caught me by surprise. Most people would say "I haven't been in a dangerous situation or I haven't been unfortunate enough to be in a dangerous situation but you say "I'm blessed enough to say I haven't been in a dangerous situation." which is so great because it reminds us that we should be lucky if people we love don't tragically die or we don't go through that kind of trauma. Your mentality is amazing.

If anyone is confused, here's an explanation (a *correct* explanation) for the USA: In the USA, college is either a 2 year associate's degree or a 4 year bachelor's degree. This is called an undergraduate program. University is different, meaning higher degrees, such as master's or doctorate's. This is called a graduate program. In the USA, high school (secondary school) usually ends when a student is 17-18. This is when some people go to college/university. It is two separate things in the USA. I saw some comments confused and decided to explain it.

I'm in Canada and I've been to college and university but in Saskatchewan. Toronto got standards. In Sask. and Alberta, you can take university classes from a college and it is sooo much cheaper. Residence is cheaper, parties are better cause the rooms are much bigger and we get basements in each apartment and you make friends easier. I prefer Canadian colleges to Universities. No competitions tho. I miss the business competitons and Enactus. That was fun.

Nadia Azzah College is where we go after school (between 16-18 years old,) then we go to University (to study for degrees, masters,etc)
Safiya Gordon What do you mean "after school"? 16 & 17 are high school ages here. 18 can be high school or college/university. I know in some other languages "college" means high school.
College is the same as high school.

I have a similar story to the fish thing. I was probably about 9, maybe a little younger, and I had a hamster. At one point my younger cousin sent his new hamster (which was one of the babies of my OTHER cousin's hamsters) to stay with mine while they were away. I noticed that they didn't really get along because they would occasionally fight a little. One morning my family and I were getting ready to leave for our vacation, so I went to check on the hamsters and...mine had eaten the other's head. I wouldn't say I was scarred, but it was pretty shocking. I remember seeing it and just being like "...Daaaaaaaaad! Digs (mine) killed the hamster!" It's a pretty funny story in our family to this day, as unfortunate as it was

The exact same thing with her ghost story happened to me when I saw my friend after 10 years except a person a bike appeared infront of my car in plain daylight just out of nowhere after I saw my friend, I felt weird and emotional for 5 days.
