I was so grateful for her to come to me, AND I checked the history and what she was looking at before she used the computer. She got a friend request from a guy in the city we live in and she didn't look at who it was.
I took over the chat and arranged a meet. The police did nothing, zero zilch. And Said...
"Nothing we can do, take her off FB
"And the meet?
He won't type on either computer, laptop or phone or any tablet, anytime soon.

As a mother it hurts me that this woman tried to protect her child and the system failed her. I can understand why some parents are willing to take the law into their own hands cause the system is very faulty when it comes to protecting children from predators.
This doesn’t seem realistic. The girl was screaming that her dad was abusing her. I would think the judge would say no visitation.

The sad part is that after all these years we are still up against this horror. Still to this day we are being denied protection for children. But if it was a stranger, they would be protected.
My Mom hid me from my bio father at a lady’s house whom at the time I had only met once before at 4 years old. Fast forward almost 44 years later and she is my Aunt Gale…my guardian angel who saved me!

I hate this Judge and law it’s not fair and they only take the father side and the father lawyer is a monster too and look like the father is a powerful man and bribe out all the judges and the whole court system and for what I see they don’t take the child’s suffering seriously and think the child make up the story and the mother coach her to say words that she told everyone it suck

It’s exactly the same in the UK. The victims always suffer more in court. But at least in the US the prison sentences reflect the crime, ie life means life , unlike here where the sentences are ridiculous and insulting to victims of crime 😢

I was so grateful to my dad for admitting to abusing me when it was revealed. He messed up hurting me, but at least he owned up to it.

It's not so much a wicked world as an imperfect world. In order to punish someone for a crime you need to have evidence that they are the ones responsible for that crime. The courts knew that the child was being sexually abused by someone but didn't have sufficient evidence to convict her father for the crime. For all they knew, it could have been anyone, who would have then told the girl to accuse her father of it to get them off the hook. There isn't an easy answer to mankind's problems sometimes. The solution that this mother came up with landed her in jail in the end, but I suppose she would have been happier in there knowing her daughter was safe.

My granddaughter went through a terrible time. Not sexual abuse, but judge ordered joint custody. She was only 2 yr old. The dad had to take her from my daughter while she was crying and clinging to my daughter. As soon as my granddaughter turned 18 that was the end of the relationship. She's 21 and never sees or talks to my granddaughter. Never makes any contact to even see how she is. It's like once he didn't have to pay child support it was so long. It really got to me and I went into a clinical depression and had to go on medication. She's now 21 and getting ready to graduate with a BA in Forensics. She wants to go on to graduate school. But who can tell the emotional damage done. Many of these judges just dont even care!
Shocking! They just use their children as a weapon against their ex-wives. Its truly tragic. Heartless judges and social workers paint every mother trying to protect the children, as if they are using the children to punish their fathers. In fact, the mothers know exactly how bad the men are from personal experience. After divorce, they can't even be there to protect their children from abusive fathers.
After not pitching up time and again to collect our little son for "his" weekends, leaving our child waiting at the front door, overnight bag in hand, he suddenly pitched up with some strange woman, announcing, "this is your new mother."

Why she hardly ever protects you, but again, the human that deals with the same thing because there’s been so many cases of women doing that on purpose of hurting the child I mean, there’s even cases a woman killing her child just so her husband couldn’t have them because she wanted to hurt him there’s cases of it if you don’t believe you can look that shit up it’s public knowledge it happens all the time so don’t sit there and just be sexist and use the word women like women should be the only one I have custody there are women that abuse kids to there’s been case of women, raping children you know and I’m sorry, but the judge can always tell who is the fit parent when they don’t know you, they don’t know they don’t know the couple, so how they know like in that case how old would the judge know that that would happen and we got to get like the judge to automatically know they can’t read your mind they can’t take your word for it either. You know that you know if they have any way to say anything you know you can’t like if you kill somebody and hitting you you have to prove that they’re beating you. The daughter will forever love her Mom, who gave up everything-her time, money, career, home, *freedom* and *personal happiness* because the unconditional powerful love we have for our children, to protect our children *should* be this way. Ladies, be very, very, very careful of the man who you choose to marry and have children with...The horror this Mother felt to see her daughter screaming *not* to see her father, constant night terrors et cetera, and then when the physical came back from the doctor’s office *confirming* a broken Hyman and tears 😭 and her private parts *showing* signs of chronic physical (sexual) abuse...it’s sick! That’s sickening, grotesque, horrible shameful‼️‼️‼️🤢🤯😡🤢 🤮🤬😭😤🤬😡. That poor little girl then being accused of *doing this to herself*, WTF?!? That was such a severe case, the young child (little girl) should have been isolated in a safe facility immediately! But NO...the Mother, being completely reasonable in her attempts to help protect her daughter, had to do everything in her power to oppose the *male judge*...icky‼️😭😡🤢🤮🤬

This is a good movie but also very upsetting. It's factual when it comes the protection of our precious children - Child Protective Services and the laws surrounding them are ridiculous. It makes you wonder who they're protecting, the child or the abuser.

There is some incredible acting in this movie. There's nothing else in the world like a mother's love 💕 this movie made me cry and I don't cry easily...

I went through something very similar. My child eventually committed suicide at 16. Safe now. I despise what the authorites and "child welfare" did to us. They fell for the psychopathic charms of the parent who did not care what was done to me or our child, as long as he had control. The authorities helped him every step of the way, denying my right and responsibility to protect my child.

He was abusing the daughter, but she couldn’t prove it at the time so you can’t really be mad about that because guess what dark is the women lying saying their husbands and their child, there’s cases of it and if they proved it to that they lie, they finally they lied do you know women sit there and cry rape all the time this case of it so get a judge supposed to take somebody’s word I mean somebody gets up there and say you hit them so if they tell police officer that this was take their word where do I say that is that on my boyfriend where someone accused him of Lido beating him up and he didn’ In the cop at the time for some reason took that word, even though I got thrown out because there’s no proof that he did anything but appointed anybody say anything, and yeah, their case of people lying about rape just because somebody screaming rape don’t mean they were actually raped wake up there, a woman that lie and say their exes a raping their child in when they’re not now in this case yeah I did happen and yes, I think if it’s really happening a mother needs to do what she had to do some cash for a child because the system is fucked up. Yes very, but there has also been case of some children lying on somebody saying that they are abusing them when they’re not usually as teenagers though, but yeah, this case of that too I wish you people do research on it too because you act like isn’t like nobody ever lie about it you act like you know if somebody says for the raped they are actually been raped. There's 2 judges in Alabama. Stowe who is likely dead by now and Reynolds who gave the daddy child molester custody of the 4 yr old son and have the mom supervised visitation . Pure evil. Doctor reports said his rectum was severely torn and psychiatrist said he draws very disturbing pictures ( flames , knives, blood) . That 4 yr old boy is a 39 year old man today with severe depression. And anxiety. Judge Stow especially is a scum bag for allowing that .
I felt every bit of this,the trauma humans like me and Mandy have to endure for almost eternity and the law is still asking to be obeyed where it's not working.

I remember seeing this in high school. Yet in 2022, it's still unfortunate the victim is often treated as the criminal and the sexual predator is protected and covered for. And in 2022, and in the 21st century unfortunately the predators often have the advantage of being able to track the location of the custodial parent through electronic devices and things like Google maps.

Should instead be they can show them to enter the room like for exam or talk and to have narration from an adult mimic that kid's voice.
You may be right. It's much harder to stay incognito with all the tech available. Certainly the case where advances in technology mean anonymity is nearly impossible (i.e.: no more pay phones.)

There is absolutely no way in hell I would hand my child over willingly to that man after seeing the way she behaved about having to go with him and listening to her story.. no matter what the courts said. There’s no way I could allow it to continue, or have my child thinking I do not care about her safety. They would have had to lock me up too.

God help me I don't think I can stomach to watch this "judge" any more. The feeling one has is as if the world is crazy when injustice is done. May we recommit to sanity.
They don't tell us if Mandy gets caught or how long her mother has to stay in jail. The system stinks & fails to protect the children, that Really needs to be protected. Upside down system, protecting the abuser instead of the victim. This is a sad & horrible world, that we live in.

I once worked for a school where a 4th-grade little girl attended, and she was pregnant by either her biological dad or brother. It still haunts me today wondering if she's ok and if she was able to go on and have a " normal "life. 😢😢 only God knows ❤🙏

As one from the Criminal Justice Field, I will tell you. Any Parent that is Incarcerated, to protect their Childs Safety, is protected by the other Prison Inmates. Just as any Parent that injured a Child or their Child is not protected by other Prison Inmates.

When I was a little girl of age, something bad was done to me, that caused so much damage, as that little girl's heart broke into sadness, by some adult's madness!
The abuse gave me many years of agony, until I surrendered my life to the Lord, and found myself in harmony.
Finally I understood that He always had loved me, and He had felt the pain I felt ; that made my heart melt.
He helped me to forgive the abusers, as His love for me changed my heart for real, and He little by little the wounds would heal.
Today, my heart aches for those who have gone through the same, and thought it was some adult's game.
I pray for them with deep compassion and sorrow, as I hope for them a better tomorrow ; and that they will turn to the Lord with all their agony, as He is the only One who can give them harmony!

I went through this alot as a little girl it was 2 of my Uncles now that's messed up they were suppose to be my protectors.......I'm 67 now and still have mental issues over it
I'm still struggling with it. I really want to forgive. I became promiscuous . It has destroyed me. I was over protective of my children. I've tried to forgive. I've asked the Lord to help me.

Growing up i loved watching martial arts movies and movies about teenagers and kids and so on!! When i became a teenager i started to love court dramas...and films based on true events like this one, you can learn from them. Imagine if you're caught up in the same position but the system doesn't hear you out!!

Not true. Many loves are much greater than a mother's. In fact, I disagree that a mother's love is special, or better, or different. It's not. It's just like any other love. In fact, in my opinion, a mother/father should never love their child most, they should love each other most.

This movie made me cry,it just shows to what extent a mother would go to protect her children but I don't like the ending it doesn't make sense but good movie though.

I know that many real life mom's wouldn't have sent their daughter back ONCE after believing a story like the one told (by the daughter character) in this movie.
Custody laws and visitations directives are pretty strict. You can't just decide not to abide or you'll be in contempt of court.

Why on earth would they have a male doctor doing the examination??? It's obvious it should be a female doctor and the girl's mother should be in the room right next to her while it's happening. I hope it doesn't really happen like this nowadays, appalling.

As a 36yrs old am a mom of 3 two girls ages 5 & 2 and 1 son age 12. From they can say 1 & 2 words i thought them bad touches caz id believe there is good touches. Even by watching this movie April 20th 2023 I turn to my daughter and ask her if any1 as ever touched her. My heart cries during this movie
My mom taught in the inner city and had a few instances like this and just other things that went with teaching in those areas. She mostly taught special Ed thru her career. She taught at an elementary school and a few incidents she remembered was little girls (3 or 5th grade) some would come to school barely able to sit or it would hurt to. She'd send them to the school nurse and it would usually be mom's bf or partner just home from prison was messing with them,having sex with them while mom wasn't around . It was awful hearing it. Obviously dcfs would get involved and sometimes the kids aren't believed or the guy is a breadwinner so they guilt the kids into not telling family business or "exaggerating things" or worse blame the kid for "enticing " . They'd kick them out put on a show for the social workers but sneak them back around . It's a really sad situation

The sentences for sexual predators are increasingly lenient, and as I understand there are campaigns towards legalizing/normalising sexual relationships between adults and children.

The law can't prevent crime it can only avenge it. The justice system is broken. It's a great injustice for the innocent, our Children, and Grandchildren.

The fact that the father wanted to still have visitation even with how upset it made her should have been all the proof the court needed. A normal parent would not have insisted if it caused their child that much distress. They would have tried to work things out another way.

That was not an end to the story and I would like to know what happened too. What a horrible thing to happen to that little girl and her Mother! I'm not surprised that the judge was not willing to see the truth and do something about it. Our judges these days are not judging with justice. Many are paid off or threatened to judge unfairly. It's evil and ungodly to say the least. I pray for God to protect our children and grandchildren. There's just so much evil trying to destroy them. 😢

I also know of a wonderful Scandinavian , Torben, a preacher ,teacher and prayer, who got prisoned, accused for something he did not do. Almost 2 years now, and his wife and children and grandchild lost him to the crazy evil system. They came to America around 3 years ago, because they thought they could serve God freely there. But under Biden he was taken while the only thing he did was to run a Bible school to people who had got new lives. He traveled with his team, and someone lied about him, and now he is stuck in jail, innocent. It is percecution towards people who believe in Jesus and who does the will of God. Many many people got saved, baptized and healed. But funny thing is, he also preach in prison, and many got saved and healed. One of the inmates was teached by my friend Torben, to serve before he left the prison. So this new disciple went out from jail a new man. Torben has not been able to defend himself. No trial in court, no justice, just corrupt evil sent him to jail. Christians in Scandinavia are shocked. I would not dare to go to USA.
