I miss the old lifetime movies they were the best I still rewatch my favorites
I've been binging on the old ones and rewatching my favorites, too. 🥹
Same . So many favs I can’t just pick one .
@@scootermom1791 MY FRIENDS WATCH " FAITH UNDER FIRE" KEVIN SORBO ACTS IN THIS VERY EMOTIONAL😢 CHRISTIAN MOVIE❤❤❤
@@cynthiadelgado3688 READ THE MOVIE😢 I RECOMMEND MY 🌹FRIEND AMEN. ❤❤❤
A Child’s Wish wasn’t a Lifetime movie. It premiered on CBS in 1997. Most of the really good made-for-tv movies of the 80s and 90s had their debut on one of the three major networks, and then had a second life on Lifetime.
Miss John Ritter. Great actor. RIP
@@candiceklien7421John Ritter was a n absolute gem, so sad that he passed away at such a young age. Greetings from South Africa 🤗
That was a sad movie. Great job Mr. Clinton. God Bless all of the children's who are struggling the sickness. I wished & prayed that they find a cure for all children in the wide world.
So grateful to my mother we were poor everyday complaining of eating vege thought we were so pitiful but we grew with no serious illness the ten of us and foremost to our almighty thank to you my dear Lord i cant ask for more
Ohhh, our daughter had the same cancer and died after a year, she was 14 Years old. This movie remines me😢, but it's ok now.
Reminds me of my dad ❤ he'd do everything this dad did for us ❤
A wonderful movie! Worth a watch! John Ritter Rip. 🙏🏼💞
These new lifetime movies arent worth watching. The old ones are the ones that are good and worth watching
I Love Anna Chlumsky 😀❤️😃😍💖💝
My great niece just found out she has leukemia , she was devastated just like this character played by Anna Chlumsky . Cancer is a deadly disease , it destroys families , and brings families closer together . This was a good movie about being strong and holding loved ones close when things get really bad .
😢❤
@LindsayLou_MyCanadianLife This is so uncanny , your name is Lindsay Lou , my name is Linda Lou ! What a ka-winka-dink , huh ? !
@Linda-sq2ti how weird! Hello from Canada 🇨🇦. I'm sorry to hear about your great niece. Hopefully everything will turn out okay ❤️
@LindsayLou_MyCanadianLife Thank you . I'm in Michigan . I talked to my sister , her granddaughter is doing okay , she is having chemo and radiation .
@Linda-sq2ti 🙏 shame, how old is she? Cancer is sad at any age, but especially for a youngster.
What a brilliant movie 😢 Thank you for the upload. Cried so much. ❤
I def did too. I cried like a baby . Missy was a bright , beautiful young lady who definitely deserved much more. So glad she got to go to the White House and meet President Clinton . Still sad for her and others that lost their lives. My aunt died of cancer and left behind her husband and five year old son 😢😢
This is good movie it very sad it made me cry it not fair she young girl got cancer in her leg and they amputee her leg. She strong girl she lucky to be alive and she lucky to have parents who love her and support her.
What a movie😢 They don't make them like this anymore....
I like the old commercials...even though they are long...brings back some memories
Missy now has met the King of all Kings !😢
The character of Missy is based on Melissa Weaver and Dixie Yandle as you see at the end. Ed Chandler was based on Dixie's father George. It was Dixie's parents who pushed for the Family Medical Leave Act. Dixie's mother, Vicki, was on stage when President Clinton signed the Bill into law. Dixie Yandle died in 1993. She was 17. Melissa Weaver died later in 1993. She was 11.
I never remember seeing this movie. Thanks for posting.
Same here. It’s now the ninth time I’ve seen this.
Loved the film very sad that she had cancer and had to deal with so many issues also at a young age. I cried watching this film. I'm so happy that missy had her wish and it came true. Also, the family helped out when it became difficult to keep the house, and her Dad was looking for work. Also, missy was getting further treatment at the hospital . 😢😢😊❤❤❤
This just goes to show you even funny people like John Ritter could be in serious and emotional situations.
John Ritter was also in another serious movie, called the colony. If you haven't seen it, you should really watch It. It's really good.
@@jeanalzaidi908And one called No Way Out with He ray Winkler
He has been in many serious movies.
Love all Ritter’s movies!! ❤
This is the first time I have seen this movie. It was very 👍 good.
Great movie. Thank you for sharing❤
😢😢so sad but missy met the big man himself god the father ,Missy rest in gods arms 💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢😢
This movie after seeing it 20x still makes me cry each time.
The president himself and this beautiful young girl are so emotional ! 😢😢😢😢❤
Didn’t expect this movie to make me cry
Same. I just finished watching and couldn't help crying a little bit during the movie.
Absolutely Amazing movie Thank You very much
I remember sobbing my eyes out the first time I watched this movie years ago. I had missed the opening credits, so Bill Clinton’s appearance in the last scene was a complete surprise.
Anna Chlumsky did an amazing job playing young cancer patient Missy. I wonder if it was makeup or if she really shaved her head. Sofia Vassilieva did for portraying Kate Fitzgerald a girl with leukemia in "My sister's Keeper". There's an interview with Sofia where she told that she wanted it to look as realistic as possible. They made a wig for her from her own hair.
You can send a man to the moon, but we haven't been able to cure cancer.
The human body is the greatest ‘machine’. A lot more complex than a rocket
This was amazing and so sad I can't stop 😭 love John ritter xxx
Strong young lady
what an amazing movie. she is so resilant and great attitude
She plays it well.
2025 - Cancer still ruining so many lives 😢.
Sad reality - not many are able to afford the good medical care as portrayed in this heart-rending movie ✨️
Side note: Some of the Ads - helped eased the emotions watching this movie
Over the years, Foundations like 'Make a Wish' - made many difficult situations, somewhat bearable for the patient & families who went thru/goes thru the most - bless them 🤍
It's movies 🎬 like this that put things in perspective.
When I first saw it I thought it was a good movie but when missy passed it was heartbreaking
Why did you tell me? I was hoping for a happy ending.
Life is not fair...you do nothing to anyone and people stabbed in back in vulnerable situations .
How cruel to deny life saving meds , if unable to afford insurance!!
Those bosses don't care, they want robots to do the job not humans 😢
I understand the "bottom line". Folks are callous. What's the point of having insurance if you're not willing to back your employees?
We pay all kinds of insurance, hoping it kicks in if/when needed.
Money/Profits over people is not a good look. 😕
It hasn't gotten better.
I always have hope, but it's in the LORD, not always in people.
🙏🏾
Support each other, folks.
Especially in the coming years. ❤
Oh my goodness what an absolutely wonderful but heartbreaking movie!! I've loved Anna Clumsky since my first time watching My girl I wish she still acted!! ❤❤ and just the fact that Bill Clinton took the time to meet this little girl just speaks volumes about him as a person because he absolutely didn't have to do that! ❤❤
What a beautiful movie
It’s not fair the manager of the car company fired him cause of his daughter has cancer and that he didn’t make a sale he should get up drop his ass and get a sale instead of sitting behind his desk
Thanks for giving that away for the others that haven't watched
The dad's boss is a big jerk sacking him when his daughter is dying hope can live with him self
He was a total prick.
It's a movie and in the script.
This was a good and sad movie. I am glad her wish came thru for her.
Well why was this girl dancing in a short time from when her leg was amputated, which made no sense, and then later couldn’t walk properly
This was the best of America and the worst. The generous spirit of the American people, and the lack of universal healthcare. The United States has the highest mortality rate than any economically comparable nation. There are solid reasons for this. The US has the highest maternal mortality than any developed country in the world. When this became known, America was naturally embarrassed, and studies were conducted to discover the cause. The cause is obvious. In the developed 21st century West, there is no need for any woman to fail to survive pregnancy and childbirth.
The reason is the lack of universal healthcare.
Many American women couldn't afford the crucial monitoring of pregnancy that prevents infant and maternal mortality.
In countries like the UK, which have an excellent National Health Service (NHS), the jackles swoop to try to see it privitised so the cash and grab can begin. Consequently, the mefia manages to convince people that you have long waiting lists, etc. There are problems of poor bureaucratic management, arrogant doctors, and lazy nurses, but those exist everywhere.
America needs a National Health Service.
Please keep your personal information to yourself i think the dad is very concerned.🤗🌞
✨A thoughtfully done and moving story of a young girl's struggle through her illness and her family's efforts alongside her. >Worth< watching👍👍
The cameo appearance at the very end of the movie is quite touching.
All the actors play their parts well and, specially, the actress who plays the teenage girl.
This is one of those movies that reminds us to appreciate the blessings and good people in our lives, and, at least a tiny bit, to understand what those with serious illness go through.
✨A good film about a tough subject.
Why can’t these movies end happy
They are based on a true story. Movies like that usually have bad endings.
Because we live in reality. 🙏🏾
Gonna love lifetime 😂 some have happy endings
How many commercials are you going to show at one time.
You can skip 😂
Well crap..😢😢😢 Cancer sucks. Prayers to all those suffering inc the families. FMLA and Make-A-Wish does help ease the pain.
Anna chlumsky joue my girl ❤
Such a great movie
All these commercials are driving me crazy. I want to watch the movie not commercials. Ugg
It's like you're watching TV 📺and you're watching RUclips 😂📱
Here we go again. I'm never watching movies here again!!!!!!!
Great movie!!! ❤❤
I watched another movie about a girl that had cancer and the mother too we got too find a cure for this awful killer
there's cures, but they will not approve them cause there is no money.

Beautiful movie
Great film but sad
Ive seen John Ritter in along of serious movie roles. Even play and evil guy. Trying to poison his wife in one movie. Great actor
No words man....😭😭😭
When you don't bother to take out the 90's adverts it's not worth watching. I'm out!
Thank you Bill
I wouldn't wished this on anyone.
This movie is based on a true story?
I’m wondering the same thing.
Yes it is
First time seeing this Moving
Wonderful movie, but I don't understand how she was able to attend school during khemo? Did Missy really get to meet President Clinton?
Well done president Clinton. Perfect.
This is so upsetting.. the doctors killed her! Is this a true story?

Gotta love how they think praying to a fake sky daddy is going to get anything accomplished.
I believe this sky daddy helped her dreams come true. And it's a pity you don't know the real blessings of believing in him.
@@carolepperson597 It's good that you have the time to sit and day dream.
Some people just can't get through life without a security blanket.
My sky Daddy promises eternal life free from pain. I’d rather trust His promises here on earth than live with no hope at all !
