Texaco Tanker Disassembly Tips

Using prying tools for disassembling some of the parts on a Wen-Mac Texaco Tanker.
Tools seen in the video:
1. Wood Carving Knife Set by ArtMinds, Item #10310266, at Michael’s. The straight chisel has the perfect combination of thinness and stiffness for working under the edges of parts. And the angled chisel is great for use as a scraper- it doesn't chatter like a #11 Xacto blade does.

2. Wiha 26810 Chip lifter: A miniature prying tool perfect for lifting parts after starting them with the chisel. I also use it for the lifeboats.

3. Vaughan 222 Mini Pry bar, 5-1/2": Great for the larger lifts, like the catwalk. Also the motor mount- you can get the heel on top of a wheel well for lifting the forward end of the mount.

Note: When prying parts up, work around them prying at each peg bit by bit. Make sure decks are supported in a way that prevents bending them.
