@@amberpearce710 he really underestimates his visuals and doesn't realizes how unique his visuals are like the cat visuals cute but sharp at the same time? Directors would fight to cast him as a villain especially or a spy
it's worth noting that yoongi just used bighit/hybe money to bring his own storyboard to life. He is the brains behind the mv concepts. But I agree on wanting to see him act, although he's already said he won't despite having received a script.
Y’all should watch it in order, it’s yoongi’s real story line daechwita-> Haegeum-> amygdala All this happened to him (The amygdala mv) Yoongi in the past in 2012 had a car accident while working as a delivery (just like the video) and broke his shoulder and made a surgery in 2020 because he was afraid to tell the company when he was a trainee to not kick him out and then didn’t want to do the surgery because of his group to not disrupt the group’s work he was afraid + when he was born his mam did a heart surgery + his dad had a cancer + he faced depression for so long and even thought about kîlling himself and went to a psychologist .. it was hard for him because his family was so poor he had to go to school, work and train at the same time .. he didn’t eat to have money to take the bus It shows that he made the scar himself, it represents what he went through, yoongi said he meant to show the scar healing in haegeum unlike daechwita .. he said that mean he is okay now and he said agust d is one of his personalities who faced these things, you can see suga tried to kill agust d the personality with the scar in both daechwita and haegeum , he is trying to kill and forget his bad memories that made that person to continue his life . and he will stop to do songs under agust d again because the scar is healed now but that doesn’t mean the end he said if he found other things to talk about he will do , but now might release things under suga or yoongi He is so brave and we are proud of him that he didn’t give up
He said this is probably going to be the last album he does under Agust D, that he has said what he needs to as Agust D and the rest can be told by Suga.
Hi! Actually no, he said that this is the last album of the trilogy, not the last of Agust D. He says this quote exactly in the newest Suchwita episode when RM asks him if Agust D will appear again in the future. So you can look forward to more Agust D in the future, someday! 💜
Honestly, everybody says that the trilogy is messed up because of the order you watched it in, but not really. Amygdala was the beginning of everything. That is when he gave himself the scar, and August D was born. And then it starts from daechwita, where the scar is still fresh. Then comes haegum. As you can see, the scar is "fading" away. Furthermore, the tyrant King was never killed in daechwita, so he isn't actually continuously killing himself. On IU's pallete, he said that this is the last of August D. So that's why, in haegum, the "tyrant" was finally killed. And with amygdala he completed the circle (although not in chronological order of way things happened).
The scar is a physical manifestation of inner corruption. In this mv it’s the corruption of greedy and power abuses that come with capitalistic systems such as police and large corporations taking money at the cost of ordinary people and how that greed comes on due to our obsession with numbers/clout/money. So yoongi (no scar) killing agustd (scarred) is a case of him having the ability to know that he is a slave to these capitalist systems and forcing himself to do better. However, we then see the chopsticks that were used as a catalyst to criticise the system as a utensil for him to feed himself showing that were in a cycle on having to take part in this damaging system in order to survive even as were aware of its destruction. This wasn’t explained very well but there are better threads on twitter if your curious 🥰
The one with scar is actually the villain, a corrupt cop (augustD) he wanted the money for his self but suga burned it and also the one without is a good cop, suga,(last scene where he literally used the police car as his personal car to go to a ramen shop, he's not handcuffed too lol)
Suga has come out and said D-Day is more than likely the end of Agust-D. The persona was created because he was frustrated and angry at people who looked down at him and he doesn't really feel like that anymore, which I think is a great reason to get rid of a persona
Yoongi really good at making people love everything about Seeing him as a solo artist because he's lyrics are saying so much more than ever because it's something beautiful and relatable
He nodded because thats of his people, setting up the corrupt cop, to kill him (trauma). The ones with the scars are the bad/evil ones Cinematography is so good, it takes from Old Boy (korean version), Hong Kong Cinema mostly, Shang Chi a bit (flashback fight scene), Joker (burning the money and hanging outside the car), and Scarface (in bath with money).
Now that, according to Yoongi, the trilogy of the Agust D with the scar is completed with AMYGDALA, I have a theory. I believe that Agust D started at AMYGDALA, since we found out that that's when the scar was made by him. I think that that broken part of him, in order to move on, had to be left behind. So I think that the Agust D of AMYGDALA died in that dark place. Then in DAECHWITA, the King is killed by the Agust D that became the Police Chief in HAEGEM. Who was then killed by that "new" guy that doesn't have a scar. I believe that the Agust D from the AMYGDALA, kept involving to the king then to the police chief and finally to the guy without the scar. The more scarred version of his got killed everytime by his more healed one. The reason why this trilogy is over is, I think, because his scars of his past are healed and he's now truly happy, away from that dark place... At least I hope... He went through so much. He deserves to be happy with his 6 brothers 💜
I've been on this rabbit hole journey with you since the very beginning. BTS was your 1st reactions and introductions to k-pop! Yoongi is Ous bias! What do you mean you didn't know he had an album out? You've been soooo focused on everyone else. You have truly lost sight of why you started this journey in the 1st place. I still remember your reaction to the last and how you paused to go over his very deep lyrics. Now your questioning and not knowing if it's real? I understand your busy, and I'm proud of you for branching out and chasing your dreams, but don't forget the artists that got you here in the 1st place 💜
Y'all being to harsh on them, just look at the streams for yoongi's album.. even some Army's have forgotten they are there for bts not only their bias... I love reactors like them who started with bts and opened up to the entire kpop and Korean culture, their reactions are genuine, unlike reactors who fake excitement just to please army and get views
i was thinking the same I just didn't know how to write it cause I didn't want to sound mean, you said perfectly! Just wanted to correct you on something , Ous mentioned his bias is jhope on the "On the street" reaction
He is calling out all the things that people say should only be said behind closed doors. Also at the end when he walks into the noodle shop again, he totally has cop Agust D's jacket. Fire.
Oh no! The order was Daechwita, Haegeum and THEN Amygdala.. it was trilogy. 😢😔😂 They are all connected in that order. (I hope you watch all three in a row in that order in your down time. It really explains things better). Either way.. thank you for the reaction! Still excited for it! 💖💖
The way I interpret it is that the police officer is the rebel from daechwita who had killed the king previously. The police became corrupt and the rebel in this MV killed the corrupt police. The police laughed because he knows it's a never ending cycle. You can try to be above corruption but considering we're all slaves to capitalism, we can never truly be without greed. Also the way I see it the order is Amygdala, Daechwita, and then Haegeum. The scar is healing, he is becoming less angry and more at peace within himself.
I agree. Plus even the beat is like being healed or less angry. Daewitcha had a hard beat but in Haegeum while the beat was hard it wasn’t (the beat) wasn’t has hard hitting meaning that he is less angry.
Hey Guys! I've been following you for a few years now. I remember your reaction videos on BTS & SUGA mv's. I feel like this one is even deeper. I'm here for it ^-^ Love you and keep going xoxo 2023
The guy holding him when he was being dunked in the oildrum was (probably) the survivor from the first heist scene, so gangsta!Agust stole the money to lure out DirtyCop!Agust, and was plotting with some of his people to take him down - which is why they just stood there and didn't take down gangsta!Agust when he came up with the gun and shot their boss. :)
Haegeum is also the name of the instrument, but another meaning is to lift the ban. You can interpret this song as meaning to lift the ban. Also, at the beginning of the music video, in the violent part, the lyrics of the song say, "This song is Haegeum." Therefore, I interpret it as something that seems cruel, meaning to break the forbidden
Aaahhh I'm so sad y'all miss this LIVE at the concert 😭😭😭 I would have loved hearing your true reactions behind me... But thank you for making my concert experience even better because your guys's reaction during the show was the cherry on top! Always vibin'!!!

okay my theory for the chopsticks is that those symbolizes he curse the system yet he is also "the slave" of the system. idk how to explain it but he used chopsticks to kill but also for eating
Watch it in order like he recommended Daechwita Haegeum Amygdala Blonde Agust D is killed in Daechwita by Black haired Agust D (who is the cop in Haeguem). Another Agust D then kills the cop in this video (Haegeum). They keep getting killed off when they get to a place or greed and corruption. If you notice, the scar on his face is healing.
The Agust D Character in this reminded me a lot of Joker specifically Heath Ledger's Joker, Fight Club, and like 90's cult classic movies where the themes are about corruption, underdog shit, and finding your freedom.
I was going to say, it's like the reincarnations of the rebel and king from Daechwita. The cruel king had the scar but the rebel fighting for freedom didn't . Also, the cop is the villain because he's singing about freedom and the cop is trying to stop him. Which makes sense because Korea police is notoriously corrupt.

It is a story that starts from daechwita. Let's talk about Haegeum. He talked about corruption in the industry and he talked about how we are slaves to social media, that's why he mentioned Yt. Now, about the red chopsticks that he used to kill and to eat, it could have the meaning of "You kill to eat and you eat to live." Our very existence and survival is based on that endless cycle. This time Yoongi went to take revenge on Agust D and this time he did kill him for real since in Daewchita it was seen that he shot him but it was left unfinished. He suga killed Agust D, that means he's finally free. Depression free. There are too many theories of this song, which connects it to daewchita, and all the others songs. Everything I wrote is ARMY theories. I just looked for them and shared with you.
HEY!! I thought you forget about Agust d because ive been waiting for you both to do the reaction!! I was like mad and wondering why this two havent postd yet about HAEGEUM and AMYGDALA bcoz if you did i will never forgive you😩 HAHAHAHAHHA
I personally think the order is Amygdala, Daechwita, and Haegum. Amygdala he receives the cut, it's self inflicted so I think it represents his attempt, but also the mental wounds he has had to deal with. (This is just paraphrased of what I actually think of the MV, I'm just focused on the wound right now) In Daechwita we can see the wound is scabbed over, it's not fully healed but it's not fresh either. In Haegum only 1 of the personas have to scar, and it's a tru scar, the skin has healed with still trauma left over that couldn't be healed. Now my in depth view of this is when he first receives the wound, he is dealing with a lot mentally, he's depressed, stressed, and trapped in his own mind. He is mentally wounded. In Daechwita, King Suga is stuck in the past, putting on this facade but still being trapped in the past. Which is why a modern him kills King Suga. He finally becomes free of the past, but there is still something he has to overcome. This is where Haegum comes into the picture. Cop Suga is the only one with the scar, and it's a true scare. It's no longer this giant nasty wound that still may hold some pain, it's now just a reminder. It exists but no longer bothers him at such an intense level. Criminal Suga doesn't have one, and he kills Cop Suga at the end. I think this is Suga truly and fully breaking free of the restrictions set by his own mind. Criminal Suga is carefree, more daring, and willing to do what he wants as long as he's having fun, while Cop Suga is very neat and put together. You can tell he follows the order of his mind (the police force in the mv), this Suga is restricting himself from truly being happy. When Criminal Suga kills Cop Suga, he is finally set truly free, from his mind (Amygdala), the past (Daechwita), and the image he thinks he has to keep (Haegum).
If he was casted, he would be the villian everyone will think they beat in the end but then comes the post credit clip of him alive and well, still doing his gangsta shit 😼😈 he would be the villian that simply wins everytime 🤷♀️
It is Min Yoongi that killed Agust D. As he mentioned, Haegeum was the end of Agust D's Trilogy. Again, another masterpiece from our genius rapper-producer. 🔥
I think the best way to get thru all the kpop (for me) is to just get sucked into the video first run straight thru. Then go back to read lyrics & disect But that's just me
Ppl in the comments are being a little harsh. You guys must be SO busy! But I think a good take away would be to just do a little bit of research before the reaction starts. I know you don’t want to spoil anything for yourselves, but I think knowing if yoongi has an album out and whatnot would be a great way to refresh before filming! I hope you take all the comments as genuine feedback from ARMY who have always enjoyed your channel for the BTS reactions 😊
Yoongi actually mentioned he was handed scripts to do acting after the mv daechwita but he refused saying he's not for acting🤡
Of course 🐈⬛🐈⬛💕
He also said he wasn’t handsome enough…💀
AGUST D better at making music anyway, fuck acting.

I mean it is his money 😂😂
I don't know if "Used" is the right word, but yes....
Are U serious
Y’all should watch it in order, it’s yoongi’s real story line
daechwita-> Haegeum-> amygdala
All this happened to him
(The amygdala mv)
Yoongi in the past in 2012 had a car accident while working as a delivery (just like the video) and broke his shoulder and made a surgery in 2020 because he was afraid to tell the company when he was a trainee to not kick him out and then didn’t want to do the surgery because of his group to not disrupt the group’s work he was afraid + when he was born his mam did a heart surgery + his dad had a cancer + he faced depression for so long and even thought about kîlling himself and went to a psychologist .. it was hard for him because his family was so poor he had to go to school, work and train at the same time .. he didn’t eat to have money to take the bus
It shows that he made the scar himself, it represents what he went through, yoongi said he meant to show the scar healing in haegeum unlike daechwita .. he said that mean he is okay now and he said agust d is one of his personalities who faced these things, you can see suga tried to kill agust d the personality with the scar in both daechwita and haegeum , he is trying to kill and forget his bad memories that made that person to continue his life .
and he will stop to do songs under agust d again because the scar is healed now but that doesn’t mean the end he said if he found other things to talk about he will do , but now might release things under suga or yoongi
He is so brave and we are proud of him that he didn’t give up

I think it’s because suga said to watch it in the order of daechwita, haegeum, and then amygdala that’s why people are saying they did it wrong order
THE STORY IS BACKWARDS!!!!
i watched it in the order that the music videos came out lol
I agree, that order makes more sense. But in Daechwita, didn't Yoongi and the tyrant king have the scar?
In Amygdala, you see him full circle, cuz you see him make it, but you also see himself looking back at it.
Blonde Agust D is killed in Daechwita by Black haired Agust D (who is the cop in Haeguem). Another Agust D then kills the cop in this video (Haegeum). They keep getting killed off when they get to a place or greed and corruption. If you notice, the scar on his face is healing.

You did not know that Min Yoongi has put out a new solo album. Wow...ok.

I personally think the order is Amygdala, Daechwita, and Haegum.
Amygdala he receives the cut, it's self inflicted so I think it represents his attempt, but also the mental wounds he has had to deal with. (This is just paraphrased of what I actually think of the MV, I'm just focused on the wound right now)
In Daechwita we can see the wound is scabbed over, it's not fully healed but it's not fresh either.

Yoongi said to watch Daechwita then Haegeum then Amygdala
Big thank you ❤
💀the fact he released it on my bday -
If he was casted, he would be the villian everyone will think they beat in the end but then comes the post credit clip of him alive and well, still doing his gangsta shit 😼😈 he would be the villian that simply wins everytime 🤷♀️
Did you guys notice the red chopsticks that meant somebody was going to die?
It is Min Yoongi that killed Agust D. As he mentioned, Haegeum was the end of Agust D's Trilogy. Again, another masterpiece from our genius rapper-producer. 🔥
lmao @ Luffy pulling up
Next AGUST D - DDAY PLEASE 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 DDAY IS FIRE🔥
Omg finally you reaction 😅
Moral of the story don’t assume the cop is the good guy 😌
💜💜💜💜Army desde.Argentina...me gustan sus reacciones
I looooove seeing black pleople react to bts' rapline!! you hyped me up it was such a good reaction video!
Besides, the fact that you guys looked up the meaning of haegeum was awesome! it helps to understand the song to a deeper level
I do hope you watch his dance practice to this
I know I'm late to this so please FO - GIVE me. 😁 If no one has explained the scar on Agust D, allow me...
"Daechwita" is when his scar was first introduced, "AMYGDALA" works as a prequel, and "Haegeum" is the sequel. The nearly healed scar on "Haegeum" Agust D, seems to point toward Suga's current position in his healing journey where the scar - symbolizing his trauma - no longer affects him, but will always be a part of his identity.
The self-inflicted nature of the scar works as a physical manifestation of the trauma which he keeps revisiting in the music video. Suga is a known critic of the hypocrisy within Korean society that views mental illness in a more stigmatized light to physical illness. "People won't say you're a weak person if your physical condition is not good. It should be the same for mental conditions as well. Society should be more understanding." (Interview with Teen Vogue) As the era of Agust D has come to a halt and is uncertain if Suga will bring Agust D back (I know he will) in the future, it's impossible not to feel grateful towards the vulnerability the rapper has openly expressed both to his fans and himself.© goes to Haylie Harley @ New University dot org
Let's pray for Min Yoongi to return safe and sound. May God bless him and watch over him so he and his members return to make wonderful hits as they always have done.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Do more Agust D ! 🔥
we no longer get album reactions on youtube anymore? we have to pay for it on patreon?
Ryuichi is from the band The Rose. He's not the one that died
Woosung is in the band The Rose
Sakamoto Ryuichi did pass away
Nice reaction 👍
You guys needed to start with Daechwita first then Haegeum then Amygdala its a trilogy
THE PEOPLE REPRESENT ARMY'S!!!💜
I think the best way to get thru all the kpop (for me) is to just get sucked into the video first run straight thru. Then go back to read lyrics & disect
But that's just me
“Vincenzo who” Vincenzo DUPE
Ppl in the comments are being a little harsh. You guys must be SO busy! But I think a good take away would be to just do a little bit of research before the reaction starts. I know you don’t want to spoil anything for yourselves, but I think knowing if yoongi has an album out and whatnot would be a great way to refresh before filming! I hope you take all the comments as genuine feedback from ARMY who have always enjoyed your channel for the BTS reactions 😊
can you do a full album reaction?
i believe suga could be a great actor too...he's like all in one package... Singer dancer model producer writer........... .. ............
