I love watching your hunts. I also love how edit and put “behind the dang tree at 15:02 over wtf lol. Keep up the good work and motivating all us other hunters for 2023
That was a tuff hunt. Loved it, I've gotten in them pickles several times when I had no cover. Always a good time though. Good luck in Nashville and in Florida if you make it down here. One day we'll meet up and I can shake the hand of the best turkey hunter I know of.
Hey Dave, Ms boy here. First love the content, don't change way you video or do things to get like the mainstream and have to have kill shot every time. Second listened to campfire podcast the other day and ya'll was talking about the shows that are showing the decapitation of the heads with the huge broadheads and actually using that as a thumbnail for their videos on youtube last year but isn't it funny that those people are the ones that are caught up in the huge hunting scandal. It always seems to work itself out in the end.
As a new turkey chaser it’s good to see the swing and misses as well as a successful morning. One question ive always had in the few years hunting lots of hills as hollers, if a turkey’s above in elevation will they sound closer or further away?
Early season , when the woods are bare, I often will sit on opposite side of tree and play peek a boom! with a bird. In wide open hardwoods its very hard to get one in gone range. In dry conditions opposite side of tree is deadly because you can hear them walking . But finding a good tree to set up beehind isnt easy plus im not videoing the hunt.
Your partner should have moved back 50 yards off to your left and called. My friend and I worked together on that to keep the bird focused elsewhere. We have scored a number of times doing that
Always enjoy your videos. I’m 77 years old and the way I see it is a fella’s never to old to learn. 👍 Good stuff!
You win some and lose some!
If it was easy, we wouldn't be so obsessed. Great video, Dave.
If it was easy, there’d be as many of us as deer hunters 😉
Can’t wait for some hardwood birds and the thunder of an ol boy in the trees.
I just wish I could work that magic like “ the greatest turkey hunter of all time “. That’s right I watched that Q&A Keep it up brother
Useless as a Banjo with no strings! Your love of weathermen is the same as mine!

Can’t ever believe the weather forecast. So frustrating as you know!
If I was as bad at turkey hunting as most “weathermen” are at forecasting weather, I would probably start fishing in the spring.
sick for it baw
Gotta love chasin’ the stubborn ones!!
Weathermen and weatherladies are only ones i know that can be 50 percent right and keep a job. Lol
That’s 50% right on a good day. Usually they’re not even that close.
Ain’t nothing like those deep hardwoods gobbles echoing through the timber.
My kinda huntin!! As always great footage and hunt!! 🦃
Big woods and open timber is my fav . Have you ever hunted in pa near raystown lake ?? One of my favorite places on earth.
Little bit goes along ways
Love the soft talk but he pegged you
Thanks for the vid look forward to them everyday.

That hillside looked like one you and Chubbs chased one a few years back. Those wide open woods …… humbling
Thanks Dave for the great content
I heard someone's stomach growing after you said, "He's dumming hard" lol
If I'm hunting, my stomachs groaning. LoL

It's a tough deal and a camera only complicates the matter.
What state were y’all hunting?
One of the golden rules: don’t move an inch unless you know exactly where that turkeys head is. Game over.
Why did you pan off the turkey when you had him in the camera? That was the first and only time we seen the turkey
👍
Close but no cigar
Literally. LoL
You moved he seen you...
