That hen almost sounded as good as you, Dave. I am so glad to be a part of your channel. Thank you so much for teaching us what you know and letting us learn from you success and fails. Especially right here as season closes in
Dave.. I sure enjoy watching you chase turkeys around the country. You are living the dream buddy. I didn’t start chasing turkeys until I was 39 years old. I wish I could have started earlier but I feel blessed to go every spring. I am 66 now and have a journal on every bird harvested. 82 and counting. Thanks for the memories
Now that was a hardwoods turkey hunt right there!!! Couldn’t have drawn it up any better. Ol horse tail beard come mean walking in there meaning business son! Loved it!
Nothing better than having the girls with you, awesome hunt, the respect you have for these monarchs of the woods is the best I've ever witnessed from anyone, congrats
What a hunt , it never fails to amaze me how you hunt all that public ground and aren’t run over by people. If that was east Tenn , there would have been someone by every tree
New sub. Loved how you thanked the bird and said it would be alright and ended it then. I’ve seen to many videos where the bird flopped around. Thank u.
Another great video Dave! Question, what do you do with the turkeys you shoot? It would be an awesome video to see your collection of fans, beards, spurs and such!
Thank you Mr. Dave for another fantastic video. I hunted the same days as you did with the weather here in iowa, was tough hunting. Really nice bird and first on video i have seen to properly tag an iowa turkey
Watching you put that tag on it made me think, which state has the best tagging system? From the tags them selves to the reporting. Thanks and get after them this year.
I live in northern Mississippi and the trees are starting to bloom and a lot of folks are saying that means the turkeys are starting to mate and it’s best time to see em. Season doesn’t start for another 2 weeks. Am I missing out?
Turkeys breed the sane every year majority of hens will incubate withing a 4 to 5 day period every year the same. Deer and turkey both breed accordingly to photoperiod so offspring are born when it perfect timing for survival or the poults. It's just facts man. I always giggle when people they'll be gobbled out early spring. They gobble all year just more so during breeding because of testosterone and mating cycle. Mississippi is probably best first week then real good when hens sit on nest I think the biologists for state said mid April is peak incubation could be mistaken I know it's April. Turkeys breed with lengthening of daylight deer breed with shortening of daylight
By reviewing your set up items your at least using things that are affordable to the average person if they wanted to get started in videoing for memories. your main focus is bring the hunt to us not so much as videoing as most. Thanks and enjoy watching your videos as I am almost retired and don't get to hunt as much as I would like, so watching video's is a great way to kill time.
In several northeast states you are required to have one. Just like some northeast state require deer and bear hunters to have their hunting license on their back
All about Dave and all about turkey hunting. However, I’ve never really cared for the sympathy talk “it’s ok buddy” when you just blew his head off with a 12 gauge 😂 Respect the game, again fine, but the only reason you’re petting the kill in mercy is because YOU KILLED IT. You don’t have to apologize.
If you don’t feel a little remorse each time you take a fine animal then you may wanna step back for a few. It’s called showing respect to the animal who played the game with you. It’s not all about killing. If you could breath life back into them after the shot and chase them another day, I think most of us would.

Another great video Dave! Question, what do you do with the turkeys you shoot? It would be an awesome video to see your collection of fans, beards, spurs and such!
I agree but I believe Dave is too modest for that.
Could you imagine all the beards though…..probably stretch halfway across the Pacific haha
Classic hunt! Congratulations Dave, that was awesome, great footage and the hen's and gobblers, perfect!
Man!! Don’t get much better than that!!

What type of sight do you use while turkey hunting?
Absolutely awesome hunt !! Bring em on !!
It is always good to hide in a blowdown if you can find one. That was a good one!!
Your belly grumbling a little bit 😂
What kind of seat is that? Is it part of the vest?

Let’s go
Dave only follows 6 people on TikTok and I’m one of them. Y’all be jealous! 😂
Fake news
Bet money on it
What’s a ticktock? You whippersnappers and your fine fangled neologisms. 😂
Me and Dave talk almost daily during the season.
🤣😆🤣
Caught a tick on the timelapse, what are the odds
What’s the green sticker on the gun ?
Hunt safely.
When he hunts Maine he has to have it
In several northeast states you are required to have one. Just like some northeast state require deer and bear hunters to have their hunting license on their back
Anyone know what vest he’s using with the seat?
Or Dave if you see this?
I believe it is an Alps Impact.
@@scotthuntingexperience looks like it, thanks brother
@@austinkrautz5933 what kind of vest was it

He shoots a 20 gauge... Just sayin'

First one!
This proves Daves kills a bird 6 of 7 days per week! 😁😁😁
