Season four of "The Affair" will premiere on Showtime this Sunday night at 9 p.m. This segment aired on the KTLA 5 Morning News, Friday, June 14, 2018.
Been a fan of this show since the start..........I just read Maura was in a cycling accident with a car and she was very lucky so I really hope she makes a speedy recovery (she's an awesome actress)
I love that she said she and Dominic West have great chemistry - but the truth is Maura Tierney has great chemistry with literally everyone she works with. And don't get me started on that voice of hers :)
To me her thing is depth & intellect & UNpretentiousness & strength & emotional depth, no bs, no nonsense; she transcends her looks, but the shallow frequently fixate on physical beauty; just 1 mans perspective
The show began as a pensive, angst-ridden deep, unflinching examination into the initial excitement and titillation, to the dishonesty and betrayal and selfishness, and then the destructive ramifications and emotionally scarring effects of marital infidelity on very real, very flawed, truly 3-dimensional characters but ended as a very telenovela type drama with aspirations of being more like its former self.
Someone else suggested the same thing. The fans have so much hope that she's still alive lol. Part 2 is definitely what really happened because she died in that one.
Before the affair began I had such a crush on maura. I couldn't wait for the series to start. But when it started, I fell in love with Ruth Wilson. Still think maura is hot though.

She is an excellent actress. Helen was an unlikeable character, but her portrayal gave her a sliver of light.
