11:01-11:55 , This is my favourite 《Coca-Cola》 part. Sparkling, cool and powerfull! :D And I think Richter's Sonata no.01's Finale is the best piano music ever when late for work... Thank you so much for uploading!
Richter practically owns the second concerto of Brahms. It's quite overdone praise to say that Richter "summons" or "channels" the spirit of the composer, but one can't help but wonder if Brahms wrote the op 83 concerto with a virtuoso of Richter's design in mind...
Thank you for these wonderful pieces of music, performed by the greatest pianist of all time!
I love the Maestro's big sounds and of course the depth probed in each of the Brahms pieces. BIG THANKS for sharing this wonderful music making.

7:41 Brahms summoning the spirit of Debussy, before Debussy got to even born, hehehe.

It really bothers me that in the description op. 21 variations are after the second sonata but actually it's the other way around :D
Gracias dios
The tracks aren't labelled correctly; the variations Op 21,2 are before, not after, the second sonata.
❤
why Symphony No. 3 in F major, Op. 90 is included ? richter has had nothing to do with it
Maybe part of the same concert where Richter was in as soloist of the Brahms Piano Concerto.
Silly me: I thought it was a piano transcription...
