The tangle Teezer brush gives MUCH better results than Denman in my opinion if you're looking for looser curl definition. It also gives more volume around the roots and a lesser clumped look.
I do the same. My hair is a looser texture, but it really helps with the frizz and it makes the hair more shiny and juicy. :) I never understood what is so different about the denman brush. But have not tried it so far.
With the denman the bristles are longer, and the base seems rubbery or tacky imo. It means it's a horrible detangler, but the way it grips the hair means that the curls get pulled into a ribbon shape with this technique! You can do it with the tangle teezer too and it's less harsh than the denman I think!

Me too! It's a way bettee detangler as well as a styler so it's more versatile than the denman for sure!
