    Clever lass!!! So much better than using a syringe to take the glue out of the bottle to shoot it into another bottle. I think you deserve a medal for this tip, Therese.
    Or matte medium should just come with this top and save having to do the whole switcheroo. 🥰🇨🇦🥰

      I have recently bought the Bearly Art (smaller) glue bottle to try and am very impressed. It's very similar to the matt medium, and I haven't had it clog at all, and it's easier to squeeze because the bottle is a little bigger. The one thing I have noticed is that there is less time to line things it up, it dries that little bit quicker.

    Have one, it works kinda ok, for most of glue, I have tried a number of variety.. yet to find a fail-proof one. But that’s crafting for you. 😊

    Thought I’d share my feelings with this fine tip applicator, and my final solution after many clogged tip problems. I found this particular top is a total waste of money in the long run. The fine tip applicators from Tonic are the better choice, because the needle is a removable luer lock blunt needle. I use a 10cc syringe filled with air to clear glue from the detachable needle before storing. The needle can also be cleansed by flushing with water or a water and dawn dish soap solution followed with an air flush. The luer lock needles can be purchased in multiple sizes in bulk. The needle is totally replaceable if needed. The caps that hold the luer lock blunt needle never needs replacing. Even my Glossy Accents doesn’t clog as long as I clear the tip with my air filled syringe flush prior to storing. BTW removal of needle and flush takes only seconds.

      Thanks for this, I think I will have to try this for my 'glossy accents', Crafty Hugs, Therese

    I use the same thing but I use a hemming pins that have a larger head. Sold in sewing section. Keeps them from clogging.

    Thank you so much! I have one of these waiting on my table. But I couldn't work out how to get it in the small bottle. Duh!

      Hi Cheryl, I actually buy the 'tub' of refill matte and have found the easiest (though quite messy) way to refill the Ranger bottle is by dipping my finger into the tub and adding it to the bottle. It doesn't take too long and is waaaay cheaper than buying the small bottles all of the time. But I suppose that would really depend on how often you use it. Did you go to the Papercraft festival? Hope you have a great day, Hugs Therese

    I tried it, but the pins rust in the tip, and the medium clogs the tube, so it didn’t end up working for me.

      Hi Marilee, I don't leave pins in the top of this one, there is another fine tip applicator that uses pins in the tip and I had the same problem as you with that one. Thanks for your comments and for visiting, Therese

    Well, I have tried this with no success. Multi Medium Matte clogs the needle tip every time I have tried it. Maybe New England temps are not favorable for this product?

      That may be the cause, I do live in the sub tropics so that may make a difference. Thanks so much for your comment and for visiting, Crafty hugs, Therese

    Hi Therese I bought a couple these last year and I find they clog a lot...any idea how to unclog it?

    • @lostinpaper
      @lostinpaper  6 лет назад

      Hi there, I have not had that problem, but i do use it a lot and only for the matte medium (so I can't comment on other glues). I have used a long small bore injection needle to clear some of my fine tip applicators before, which you could try. I often store mine upside down, but I don't know if that actually makes a difference or not. I have heard of people soaking them in hot water... but I've not tried this. But I really think it's because it's so well used that it may not clog. Hope this is helpful. thanks so much for visiting, Crafty hugs, Therese

    Therese, do you find this tip good for glossy accents too?
    I have bought some of those caps where you put the needle in and find that it still clogs.

    • @lostinpaper
      @lostinpaper  6 лет назад

      Hi Natalie, I have no answers for glossy accents, I find it very frustrating and I am wondering if it's just because I don't use it enough. Although in saying that I haven't actually tried this tip with it, but would imagine that I would have the same problems, but it's definitely something to consider. Thanks so much for visiting, hope you have a great and crafty day, Therese

      lostinpaper glossy accents is SO ANNOYING!! No matter what I do, including rinsing and cleaning it out thoroughly, putting the cap right back on, etc. it ALWAYS clogs.

      I hear you! I've pretty much stopped using it now, and only bring it out if I feel the card 'has to have' it and then it involves a 10 minute fight with the bottle each time lol. Thanks for your visit and comment, Crafty Hugs Therese
