most people in your situation just buy it for one month, dump all their shit into the scrap/ammo box, and spend a lot of that month grinding scrap and ammo so that they can ween off of it for like multiple months, but you'd honestly think they would lower the subscription cost based off of country too

I have told people that you can play and beat the main story and do all the missions without fallout 1st, but you can not be successful in the game without it. Also what I do is pay for a month, collect as must scrap supplies and then cancel. You can pull out mats from the scrap box without falout 1st, but you can only put mats in when you have it. If ya do it properly, you only really have to give the greedy bastards a month or two worth of fallout first for the entire year.
Dont spend your Atoms on the Deep Well. Wait untill the Vintage Water Cooler comes back. The well can store only 1 Water but the water cooler can store 2 and is way smaller (:
@@TheSoloGeetry trading w ppl, I highly recommend you install the text chat mod and even make a video on it. Pc only mod but there’s always 300 ppl online teaming up and trading. All I did was ask the trade chat who had a plan and I snagged one for 12k caps!I’d say that’s well worth bc I placed like 50 of those coolers and ended up w 2k water by end of day😂
FO 1st is absolutely not needed. This game is a cake walk compared to FO 3, NV, 4 on higher difficulty settings. The only reason to have FO 1st is for the useless cosmetic and camp items. Unless you plan to play this as a dress-up game, I advise against getting FO 1st.
There's plenty upside to 1st, most importantly the scrapbox and ammo box. Yeah it's criminal being charged for storage space and imo they should be giving out way more to 1st members but realistically the $12/month is normally what I spend on a fast food meal.

It's a must need for anyone who wants to play longer then 1 week. The storage in the game is down right predatory. They do the same thing in ESO. I wish it was a little cheaper like 10 bucks, but 15 is not bad for a month or two at a time here and there. Only problem is when I forget to unsub lol
TL;DW: Do not keep resubbing to first. The private server is okay for farming world spawns, but that's not worth the money. I will actually contradict most other people and say that it's easily possible to succeed in this game without first, ever. I recommend you do not sub/renew unless you want to help your friends smoothly quest without world lag and all the world spawns being pillaged.
I have to dispute the well. There are other ways to get water that don't cost Atoms. While it looks cool and I would probably buy it on sale, it's not worth the full price.
I've been playing since beta, and I can say it's a roll of the dice when it comes to F1 and new players. New players have the option to wait until F1 is free for a month to start. They may also time the atom store and get newer survival tents, the ones with 2 or 3 storage containers, a workbench, cooking and sleeping spot. Which can be picked up with the free atoms you get for being F1. Private servers are cool if you're use to playing the other fallout series "true solo" or just want to learn the game more before going onto public server. I use private servers for base building projects and daily/weekly tasks. But it really all comes down to, "Am I going to play this for an entire month or longer and untilize F1, or just play randomly?" I played for a couple years before taking the free F1 offer.
Short answer: No, is not. Long answer: No, it is not worth because the price is damn high for the lowest content it gives you and those infinite junk and ammo stashes are not worth 15€ per month

100 yes for the Scrap Box if nothing else. I can't live without it, we shouldn't have to pay monthly for it but here we are
i disagree it supports the game and its not that much, worth it when you put 100 hours a month into the game, its 15 dollars a month not 30

If you value your time and want to get to endgame it is not a damn high price. To chill around just questing once or twice a week, it is.
