- Oscar Munoz, former United Airlines CEO and chairman, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss news of America Airlines raising checked bag fees for the firs time since 2018, while also limiting some travel agency bookings from earning miles, the state of travel, and more.
Does cpi count this baggage increase
is airline fare price hikes in the cpi
Add a carry on fee. Go further: make carry on fee higher than checked luggage, so people check in bags. It would speed up boarding and deplaning 3x. Wouldnt we all be willing to pay for that speed?
The government will give them more money😂
More people will carry on, filling up the overhead bins faster. You'll have to buy early boarding, or a premium ticket, if you don't want to check your bags. This is why I fly Southwest whenever possible.
BS. Nothing good about this
Jetblue & Allegiant will end eating American Airlines lunch...
imagine that the government just gave them money and their raising prices.
What could have cost extra in SELF check in? The Climate??😂😂
Airlines need to find ways to increase revenue to keep up with rising inflation and operating expenses or else they will go bankrupt or get brought out by another airline
I hate flying now. Flying for business is a waste of money. Zoom exist. Stop being stupid and wasting money.
💯
Oscar was one of the worst CEOs of all time
