I never felt that you were influencing over consumption. It was feel good, beautiful, and have fun with fashion. 😊
My favourite bag is the LV Pochette Metis. It's big enough to carry the essentials, I wear it cross body so my hands are both free, and it's not heavy. It also has compartments, which is perfect. I used to wear larger shoulder bags but ended up with shoulder and neck pain. Forcing myself to go minimalist with what I carry has been a game changer; who needs to carry a notebook when you can do notes on your phone for example? I do carry a little folding nylon shopping bag in it in case I need it for an impulse trip into the supermarket etc. I've never used a clutch bag as I like to have my hands free.
I love having everything in little pouches, too. It makes it easy to switch bags. I have a wallet, an essential pouch and a non-essential pouch. The non-essentials are things that are nice to have, but I can live without. The essentials I cannot leave the house without. It makes switching bags so easy. I am pulling my 1980's Paloma Picasso bag with chain handles out of retirement! Love all your videos - the thought provoking as well as the fashion. Looking forward to Shopping with Freddie.

I love my Mulberry tote bags,in patent and grain leather with matching shoes 👞, they are big bags, and I always put a necy scarf attached to add a bit of colour. For my 60th, I treated myself to a green Mulberry tote bag. Like you, I put my stuff into porches. Thank you 😊.

Frederique, you have the perfect video for me today. My clothing is quite plain. A new, colorful handbag, interesting designs on it, big enough for "everything" is what is needed. A minimalist size plain bag hasn't worked for me. Out with the old, in with the new! I don't need a whole new wardrobe, just a couple of new handbags!

I have always liked big bags. As a handbag 👜 aficionado, when I use my smaller bags, I feel restricted. I very much dislike getting my hand scratched on the zipper or having to take everything out to find an item. Enjoyed this video! Thanks.
Hello Frederique! I love your videos, thank you so much! I am 5'1"so I try to be careful with a bag size so I don't look even smaller or dumpier. Yes, those teeny tiny bags on a strap or chain actually look like jewelry or a decorative accessory, but very cute! Love your voice and amount of information but I have to slow down the audio to catch everything. Not a criticism, just a comment.💗😊
I love handbags but the one I choose is minimalist. It goes with everything, is a crossbody and I can't believe how much I can put in it😂. It's amazing for someone who has always been partial to a larger tote. I also embellish it, if I want, with a broach or a scarf.

I gave my good bags to all my grandchildren, but I love them all! I only kept my mother's purses. I like soft materials appropriate for the seasons and the weather, Love basket!. I love big bag, and for going out I love to wear my Mother's purses.
I must have at least 30 handbags, designer and others. What do I actually use daily - a tan medium Longchamp tote (waterproof) and the Uniglo pouch that costs under $20. I have that in four colors and textures. I do use straw bags in the summer, one cute smaller handbag and a tote and I have bags for dressier times - a 40 year old Albert Nipon gold chain quilted bag, much like the classic Chanel bag without the annoying ubiquitousness, and a similar silver chain bag. I also have a plastic lunchbox bag from the 50s that I like to use. My designer handbags I almost never use.

Just bought myself a new bag this week. Oversized. I wasn’t planning to buy one but came across a beautiful bag I couldn’t resist. I was going on vacation and decided I needed it. 😂 I particularly love bags and shoes. 😎 I recently bought 2 other bags and removed the original strap and purchased chains elsewhere. One gold and one silver. I love! I’ve got my eye on a bright yellow and a bright red bag. Thanks for reminding me. 😂

I don’t wear red clothes very often but people think I look great in red. I don’t feel it but this year I purchased a red Sam Edelman red clutch/wristlet that has silver studs around the edge and I love love love it!!! I’m also searching for a round bag!! I love the brand Cuyana - and especially their totes. I have a mini-system tote. Another brand is Demellier London have beautiful leather bags too - the Venice and Vancouver specifically.

When I worked I wore larger, brief case, laptop, file size bags. No more. I am 5 foot tall. I have down sized to more fit my frame so that my bag does not over whelm me. While not a micro or mini bag, I have a hard time fitting a hair brush in.

Bonjour Frédérique, j'aime les sacs larges assez souples. J'adore aussi pour l'été les sacs en matière naturelle, je me suis fait un sac en macramé. J'adore avoir un sac rouge dans ma garde robe. A l'inverse, les macro, les minis, je n'aime pas du tout , aucun intérêt pour moi. Merci pour cette superbe vidéo😍😍😍

Agreed, Furla bags are wonderful! I’ve got a black leather tote I’ve had several years and no matter the abuse it’s held up great! Very sturdy and I dump my world into it 🤣
The daytime clutch? The bags are so large those women look like they are carrying a child! I think these all look super cool on the runway, but for everyday? It depends. Some are only if you have a lot of disposable income. But they are definitely fun. And I do have some things already that work for these trends!
